The machine is absolute rubbish, it cannot perform the tasks that it was made for, very quick to take my money but doesn't care about the problems I am left to deal with myself, for example: it does not fully dry the clothes leaving me to find other solutions to dry them myself, I have to constantly dry the clothes twice as they are extremely damp after one entire drying cycle. this machine of yours if very loud whilst being on the drying cycle, it takes in water through the soap dispenser at such a force that it causes every single cold water pipes to move.

Zero stars! Terrible customer service. Advertised the product as in stock and available for immediate delivery. Than the item has not arrived , when i called them I was told one of the items not in stock, was offered a replacement which supposed to arrive on the next day. Called them next day to check what time the items are arriving. Was told the mistake has been made and the item was marked for delivery not for 28th of April but 28th of May, so again it has not been dispatched today and the earlier it can be despatched is not the next day but in 2 days. Decided to go for a refund as I could not waste any more time and did not want to hear again that another mistake has been made or the item is not in stock and they very sorry! That all they can do! No managers around to solve the problems, its all like a broken record.

Terrible customer service, Avoid like the plague. Might as well have bought from the car boot! All good reviews must be where an item was purchased and no one had to deal with any issue or speak with anyone. Very upsetting experience...never again

Bought a washer/drier from Appliances Direct. Within 9 months it had broken down. Took months to repair and replace and the replacement broke down too. The original machine caused damage to my newly laid flooring due to a persistent leak from the original machine and now Appliances Direct think they are not liable despite the consumer law stating that Appliances Direct are accountable as the trading seller. Terrible customer service: one operator laughing so much as she answered my call, i had to ask her if she was ok to speak to me! She then proceeded to write down incorrect information. What a shockingly awful company!

Staff were lovely during order and delivery. However appliance was found not two work when installed and appliance direct have taken a week so far to do absolutely nothing about it. Feel very let down.

Appliances Direct delivered a dehumidifier which was clearly faulty. I followed the return advice on the website, I even emailed a video of the product 3 times and still no satisfaction. I have been waiting 2 weeks to return a faulty product and they are not interested. I now will have to start legal proceedings just to get my money back Take my advice and avoid this retailer.

Purchased a condensing tumble dryer, first one arrived smashed to bits. Second one arrived two days later.Stored it for a month until kitchen was finished, went to use it and found water all over the floor. I called Indesit and an engineer said it was damaged underneath and cannot be repaired. He gave me a number to give to Appliance Direct to make sure they exchanged it. I finally got in contact to be told it would be at least 6 weeks before they could supply a replacement. I asked for my money back and was told I had to pack it back up in cardboard or bubble wrap before they would take it. They unpack the item at your house and take it all away. I have to either go to my local supermarket and ask if I can take some cardboard or buy a roll of bubble wrap! For the difference in price I will be shopping in Curry's in future, I have never had a problem like this with them.

I ordered a cooker and an extractor fan and paid extra for a specific delivery date. They delivered the extractor fan 1 week early whilst I was on holiday! I also paid over £100 for the cooker to be connected by Know How. Unfortunately Our kitchen fitter received the cooker but he could not sign to check the work so the work was not carried out and no refund was possible. In summary don’t expect exact delivery dates or buy any of the add on services!

TERRIBLE COMPANY. VERY AMATEUR. ALL PAYMENT GONE THROUGH PAID NEXT DAY DELIVERY AND NEVER RECEIVED THE DELIVERY. VERY AMATEUR PEOPLE NOT SERIOUS AT ALL. ALMOST CROOKS

Terrible customer service, Do not buy anything and expect to be able to return it if there is anything wrong! Even in the first week...you buy from these rouges and youre stuck with it or queue at trading standards about them..poor poor..wish i had read other reviews and not the ones they have done about themselves...dont buy anything its not worth the hassle..

Ths company appear to be good on the surface, however be warned...they are full of empty promises. They called the day prior to delivery saying one item was no longer available. We had no choice but to accept an inferior model or wait and pay another delivery charge. Delivery men would only deliver one item down stairs into flat. They were eventually persuaded to take second item and damaged this in the process. They did not take away the packaging which we paid for. Customer services just give the usually empty apology-say it was our fault and gave us £4 for packaging....find another company-there are plenty out there.

spoke to these people on chat twice. Both times they tried to tell me that a Miele dishwasher was end-of-line. Miele have said that it isn't end of line. On the second conversation they also told me that they are an approved Miele dealer. I've looked on the Miele Dealer locator and they are nowhere to be seen. Be very careful - if the sales advice is this bad, just think what the after-sales customer service must be like.

TV as lasted less than 2 weeks , you have to phone 13p a mins line and send pictures , wait 3 days to speak to engineer to see if you can send back or not

bought via Amazon under the impression that the device worked with my lap top computer. after trying without success to download an app to make it work finally called the help line only to find out it will not work to my pc and now find I'm out of time for a returns refund

Delivered cooker (Hotpoint for 600 GBP) was faulty, they have refused to take it back even though we have contacted them within 14 days. Appliances direct referred us to the manufacturer, however accordingly to the Consumer Rights Act we have a right to reject a faulty item, or the item which doesn't fit the purpose within 30 days without even contacting the manufacturer. Never again!

Shocking service if things don't work out. I ordered an appliance to be delivered on 3rd March. It was a tumble dryer and needed lifting on a raised surface so I hired a man to do this (£75). the item arrived completely dented and cracked. It had clearly been dropped from the lorry. Appliance direct did not issue a replacement but simply marked it as returned. I had to re-order the item with them. When I re-ordered for delivery on the 10th I explained what had happened and said I would not be able to take delivery in the morning. They said that could not be guaranteed but would be requested. I said I will not be there in the morning so they will need to let the delivery company know this. On the 9th I received a text telling me the item would be delivered between 7:30 and 9:30. I called appliance direct and emailed explaining again I would not be there for delivery at this time. 10th March the delivery men called telling me they were outside my house. They had not been informed I would not be there. I spoke to appliance direct on the Monday to cancel the order and they told me tough luck I would still have to pay £59 for delivery. Same response when I sent this to the complaint department. Very short sighted of them to stick with trying to penalise me of £59 and have not been able to produce my item. It seems I will need to charge them my out of pocket expense of £75 so neither of us have lost out.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Paid for Saturday delivery and it came on a Monday. No compensation offered, despite the inconvenience of asking my 70 yr old father to stay at my house for it to be delivered. My oven stopped working (tripping the electric) the day after it was installed. Call handler assured me I would receive a call from them to arrange the engineering company coming out ASAP. Nothing for over a week. Called again to be told that it wasn't even registered on the system! Then took 5 days for a call back from engineers. Finally had an engineer arrange to come out on a Saturday. Engineer told us that the fan was faulty and needed replacing but should have a replacement as it was brand new. Called 17 times to arrange replacement - warranty company is meant to be open 9-8 but was always closed at 5pm with a voicemail message saying that the offices were closed and were open 9am-8pm! Utter Joke! Called again in work hrs (I work 8am - 6pm most evenings) finally got through and was told i would have a warranty replacement code text or left on my voicemail the next day. 4 days in and nothing! I have had the broken new oven for almost 6 weeks! I am utterly disgusted and intend to call them and insist on a full refund and they can take the oven back. I will be taking my business elsewhere!
