I had to wait for ages and there was to many different key buttons to go through before you were able to get put through to an operator. 14min 45 sec.

The message you have to listen to at the end of what is a very drawn out process is only really relevant to people who use credit, if your have just payed its all a bit unnecessary

Not impressed with the website. On comparethe market.com it said personal accident was included in the policy price (I selected this) however it wasn't clear on your website if this was indeed included. After I 'paid' (again no list of what was included and no included before paying and no way to check) I was then asked to pay an additional amount for personal accident cover. I'm now going to have to check to make sure the other essential cover has been included that comparethemarket said was included. Make it CLEAR to customers what is/isn't covered!!!!

Why is everything done on chat? Easier to pick up phone and get the conversation over with. Slow chat

I have been with One call Insurance for just over 12 month and everything was good until i had to call to make a claim then everything went down hill. Reporting the accident was fine but trying to contact a live body to speak to took an eternity. On one occasion I had to make eleven options which kept me going round in circles. You may be called "One Call" but you should add "many options". I cannot fault the advisers that I have spoken to [Ce5, hp1] there help and assistance has been first class, even if i did not agreed with what they said to me, but i believe having to go from your portal and read exempt clauses on a different web page is asking too much of anybody when it could all be in your portal. It took me, and I am used to reading legal documents, above 3 hours to read everything in my portal and then I missed the exemption clause.

Phoned up the number on the credit card given to log an incident. I spent 1 hour on the phone and was then was advised to call the One Call number, which I did, to log again. Two weeks later I got a letter from LV to ask to phone ASAP as I’ve had an accident and I’ve not informed anybody. I wasn’t best pleased as there is obviously no communication between One Call, the broker and the insurance company!!

Unwilling to talk to me this morning because my 17year old daughter is the policy holder, which I understand. However, when I phoned back this evening they didn’t ask to speak to the policy holder and told me I was unable to insure my other daughter on a learners policy..... why didn’t someone tell me this this morning. The only cover they could offer was one for £2600, which is £1300 more than 2yrs ago! Shambles is the only word for this company. I will be cancelling my daughters policy when she passes her test!

The live chat kept dropping out and eventually failed. Forcing me to reconnect. The first operator kept asking me the same questions over and over again. Despite the fact I had already filled these in on the preliminary questionaire. Then after about an hour of this I was told the person I was trying to add was to old for out current underwriter. I found this a very frustrating experience and felt the operator was not concentrating. The issue with the chat app was not at my end as I know everything else was working at the time. I am used to using live chat as an it manager and felt this was poor to say the least.

Got a very competitive quote online, but policy documents did not show named driver. I called to query, they assured me named driver was shownon their records, but did not show on my policy documents. The customer services were not prepared to change my policy copy. So I said I would then have to decline. Their attitude was ‘ok - bye’

It's called onecall cause you can only call them once. I've done live chat twice and been cut off. Emails are noreply emails. The account I set up says it may not be active, so requested new activation, it says email sent, in fact it says this every time I try, but still no email, so I can't access my account to ensure documents are active. As I received a letter which probably turned up late saying my insurance may be cancelled and need to do live chat. I did live chat and sent the docs, the letter is dated prior to my live chat, so should no longer apply, I love to be sure. Guess another live chat attempt.

Having had my new car insurance for a week I received a cancellation notice claiming I had not given my driving licence details and national insurance number even though you can’t proceed through the online insurance application process without filling in each section correctly and I remember at least one stage of the process I did provide my licence details and national insurance number then I phoned the one call office on the day the insurance was to start to confirm that everything was ok and I was told everything was fine , so I am frustrated and annoyed to receive a notice of cancellation upon my return from a weekend away , I could have been texted or emailed or even a courtesy call to sort out any issues as you have all my contact details, but a letter through the post????? , I have just used your online chat service to get this sorted but I’m not confident that the issue has been sorted out despite being told once again that everything is fine with the policy, well I have done everything I can, hopefully it’s sorted out now and I will phone the office yet again tomorrow during office hours .

For a company of which calls itself one call insurance when it should take just one phone call to amend or claim. When in fact it's mostly done online or you have to go through the most frustrating phone system is quite annoying when one phone call should be sufficient enough.

It was the online chat that left me frustrated. Kept waiting, then given a link id already been through and advised to speak to one of the online chatters, then cut off. Went back through. Lots and lots of waiting. Then told no they couldnt add my son. Not told why, had to ask again. Wait, wait. A little irritated by the lack of please and thank yous too. Grrr.

ab4 was lovely and did a great job explaining why I had random letters demanding money from me; however, I think the charges are absolutely disgusting! Be very careful and don’t forget anything when putting your details in for a quote. I forgot about a speeding fine I had about 2 years prior and after they discovered this when doing checks they took £136.81, basically for false information on top of the insurance price of £279, to then I had an email saying they were going to take another £158.18 for amendments. In the space of just over a week they took £574.62... I was not happy about this at all, hence the 2 stars

I had been with One Call for twelve months. When I received the renewal quote it was almost twice what I had previously paid so I made enquiries and found the same cover for £200.00 less. Having had the experience of phoning One Call and hanging on for thirty minutes before I spoke to someone I decided to cancel in writing and specifically asked for my letter to be acknowledged, an email would have done. I heard nothing and so had to ring them anyway. I was advised that they had received my letter and that the policy had been cancelled from the renewal date. I was told that the company would not acknowledge my letter because I was no longer a customer and it would cost them money to do so!! This information was imparted in a very off hand manner

Got the information I required but ultimately it takes far too long for the operator to reply. Averaging over a minute per reply wait time.
