Very disappointed with removal today. Had a large 2 piece sectional that needed to be removed and 1 mover showed up. Good thing my husband was home to help. Did not expect to have to move the furniture ourselves. Very disappointed

Canceled my scheduled pick up time twice in a row, less than 24 hours before pickup both times. Did not communicate well. Did not call back when requested. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME.

The $1,949 mattress I purchased on 18 December 2021 is still, as of 21 January, sitting in its box downstairs. I paid Avocado Green for the In-Home Delivery and Setup, White Glove service, to set up the mattress and remove the old mattress. On 23 December I received an email from Avocado stating that there was a Curbside Downgrade, i.e. they could deliver the mattress but not complete the pre-paid setup and removal. But no worries! They have other service providers, such as Go Load Up. Mattress was delivered on Friday 14 January, Go Load Up was supposed to come the same day. They cancelled and rescheduled…five more times. Avocado Green and Go Load Up have failed to live up to their obligation; this could be considered a breach of contract and could possibly result in legal action.

beware!! my property was damaged and stolen and they are doing nothing to rectify the situation. They just said it's not their responsibility. how is that possible? so I'm going to court. save yourself the hassle.

I paid up front for removal of my elliptical, including additional fees for disassembly and removal from upstairs location. When the two guys arrived, they were ill prepared to remove the elliptical. They said that they never disassemble equipment. They just remove it. I told them that it could not be removed without disassembly since it was assembled in the room initially. They didn't have tools to remove it and seemed confused as to how to do it. I then suggested that if they weren't comfortable, maybe they shouldn't remove it. They agreed that they didn't know how to proceed. They left (less than 10 minutes after arrival). I only received a 50% refund after requesting 100% back because Load up said that the drivers told Load up that they could remove it intact (it was not possible with the size, the fact that it had to be taken downstairs). Clearly these guys had never disassembled anything, didn't have the tools and seemed like people who just move things into their truck without any further knowledge. It should not be my problem if Load up cannot bring individuals who know how to do the job, especially when they specifically ask for these details on their website when paying for and booking the job. Don't ever use this company!!!

Scheduled carpet removal for next day. They do not allow you to get a quote without paying for the full service ahead of time. I texted a picture after paying over $200 and got no response until almost 12 hours later (the evening before the service was booked for) stating that a quote needed to be generated first beforehand. I texted again in the morning at 8 am (when the job was to be started) and they still said they were waiting to "find a loader" to give me a more accurate quote. I started to feel like I was being scammed and needed the job to be completed in the time frame I paid for, and asked to cancel the job. I then received a text from them (after multiple attempts to contact them - good luck) stating that they had found a loader to come before noon and would not refund my full fees. They however did not let me know that this crucial piece of information - I believe this was a lie so they could keep 50% of my fees. They should not be paid at all - they provided absolutely no service. Stay away from this company. The business model of making one pay before a quote is generated is violating consumer protection laws. I am going to file a complaint with the attorney general's office as well.

Responsiveness, zero communication, always automatic phone calls and never get a rep on the phone. I scheduled for pick up items because I need to empty house as scheduled time window. When I placed the order, I confirmed with rep twice about the pick up date through text. They said the date works. Then, the day before, they text me for reschedule time, I said I can not reschedule it. They said they can schedule the original time window. When I confirm with them, no response. When I asked to cancel the order, no response. I would not consider this company in future.

Pick-up scheduled between 12-4pm. Driver showed up at 9:45am. Did not call before arriving. Did not follow instructions, which directed him to the loading dock and asked him to call me when he arrived so that I could meet him and give him access to the freight elevator. Instead he showed up unannounced at the front desk, who called to ask for permission to let him up, and then after picking up the mattress took it back through the front lobby, which my building manager then complained to me about as if it was my fault.

We hired LoadUp to remove a treadmill. The first company they contracted out too, never showed up and lied saying that they had been to our house and couldn't do the job. They rescheduled us to the following day, and again no call and no show. We were then rescheduled for the following Monday, once again no call and no show. After the third reschedule, we called another company just see how responsive they might be. LoadUp's competition, came the day I called and took the Treadmill, and we were charged less. We did get our money back, as requested from LoadUp, but still I will NEVER use or recommend them to anyone! If I could give them no stars I would!

I prepaid for pick up and they never showed up. And it’s nearly impossible to get in contact with a person to assist. I’m not even sure how I’ll get reimbursed. Infuriating! Obviously a scam do not hire them or pay them in advance!!!

Scheduled pickup.. driver no show.. rescheduled ..contacted by driver, driver then unresponsive. Customer service via chat is slow at best.. driver no show again. Rescheduled for the next morning. Just received a text delaying delivery again. Unbelievable.

This business is a scam! I booked an appointment online to pick up a mattress and box spring. The evening before the appointment I was notified that they had to change the appointment, moving it out an additional 3 days. I understand scheduling changes can happen, but in this instance I wasn't in the position to wait an additional 3 days for the removal. Again, no problem just let me cancel and I will find another provider that can accommodate the time frame I needed and they agreed to. The scam is they only refunded 80% of what I had pre-paid - when they were the one's that could not meet the agreed upon schedule. Had I needed to cancel at the last moment I get the "policy" of only refunding 80% but this was LoadUp's scheduling issue not mine. What a total scam!

SCAM! Movers tried to cancel, showed up late with their kid and no equipment, slid the piano over to my neighbor, and charged me over $400 for this 20min of work.

Booked a job that requires 2 people and clearly indicated that in the special instructions. Even agreed to pay the extra charge. Came with just 1 guy and the company refuses to provide any refund. Such horrible customer experience.

No show. No progress communication except text 15 min before time expiration from “Elijah McCall” ending in 1234 and when we respond by text and call back, we receive no answer. It’s 8:30… kids in bed. Better not see a charge to my card…just sayin’.

now on the 3rd reschedule with no contact except an email that says oh, now we're coming on Monday between 8 and 12. I picked the original time because we'd made arrangement to actually be here, and in every case the only communication was just an email - no questions about whether it would actually work for us, nothing. So I cancel and reschedule other stuff, then the night before another note that says they've rescheduled me for another day and time. I'm not sure these guys actually even exist. I'm beginning to think I've been scammed.

Overall wouldn’t recommend as the independent contractor used left a lot to be desired. I’ll need to retract my recommendation to our concierge team as well. Good luck if you use them and hope you get a better subcontractor than I did. Ended up messing up my floors so now I’m frantically trying to clean them so it doesn’t damage them too much. Still visible even after the darkest parts are cleaned with Clorox.
