I have place an order over the phone for sim only deal and was told that my I didn't go through the credit check. They advised me to call Vodafone, as it was the company I wanted to purchase the deal from. I was informed by Vodafone that my credit history is clear and they can directly open the account with them, but I insisted on ordering through Mobiles.co.uk, as they had a better deal. I phone the Mobiles.co.uk back and informed them of my findings. Unfortunately, they were not able to assist me again and after doing another credit check, I was rejected again. I have experienced very bad customer service. No one could tell me why I was rejected and at the end I has unable to place an order.

Hi Dorota, Thank you for your review. I'm extremely sorry to hear about this. I can confirm that we don't run the credit check ourselves. We pass the information onto Vodafone. They then run the credit check and provide us with the outcome. Bought a new phone on EE and trying to get my old number ported over but EE have not received the details from Mobiles.co.uk. and have wasted a lot of time on the phone trying to get it resolved. It doesnt help when you tell me to phone ee without first checking that you have sent them the details.

Phone has never worked unless on WiFi , Apple have checked it and nothing they can do paying monthly for nothing and not had a response

Absolutely bad company to deal with. Strongly will not recommend this company to anyone. I returned brand new unopened phone on same day when it came. Mobile.co.uk promised the refund within 5 business days and now it’s been over a month and I am still waiting for my refund. Every time I ring they promise another 5 business days. Now I have no other choice to go back to my card company to get my refund back... extra hassle... if you are returning mobile check your refund in your account if you don’t check seems this company put that refund in their pocket..

Mis-sold a Samsung Galaxy S8 on 02 with 12GB Data. This turned out to be 3GB data and was confirmed by 02. Requesting to return the product sold not as described and was refused as I had used the SIM in the phone, this is in breach of my rights to cancel. Issue was not rectified despite several emails to customer service, all of which simply quoted their terms and conditions. Contacted the Communication Ombudsman Service who regulate telecoms companies and they say that due to Mobiles.co.uk being a Reseller they are not directly regulated and could not step in directly to assist. They said technically they are operating illegally and sent a message to trading standards. 02 finally confirmed the return of my mobile phone directly after threatening legal action and a review from the Ombudsman Service. BE WARNED. BUY DIRECT. Mobiles.co.uk are operating illegally. Read the terms and conditions and see for yourself.

Provided with ID network which does not work where I live. Six days later still no phone working and must pay MORE money to upgrade. On the phone for 45minutes at a cost of 13p a minute. When I complained asked to use mobile phone!! MY PHONE DOES NOT WORK.

I tried to order two mobiles (one as a present) both with the same network and there was no indication when I was paying that there was a problem. Only one phone arrived (the most expensive obviously) so I had to ring to find out the issue. I have since returned the phone unopened and I'm now awaiting a refund AND cancellation of the contract....let's hope it's completed within the 14 days of notification!

I understand things go wrong but I am so disappointed that no one has tried to follow this up or correct it . I ordered an iPhone 8 for my sons birthday on Wednesday the 11th of October , the original call was good and we ordered an o2 £39 15gb deal. I was surprised with no email confirmation , I phoned on the 12th and the deal was confirmed but very unruptly . I then received an email confirming O2 10gb deal which was incorrect . I phoned again and spoke to Mia , she was not helpful to start and did not want to help . I said I would cancel and reorder with another company , she pusuaded me not to and said she would order the 15gb sim and fast track it to me . She emailed to confirm this . Due to the lack of faith I phoned on Monday 16th and spoke to James , he was very confident but did not really get the emotion of my sons birthday . He found me a 30GB deal for the same money but did not want to commit to an email of confirmation , which worried me . I then phoned today Tuesday the 17th not to my surprise order still not in its way . Jay Patel said it will take 3-5 days which will now mean it may miss my sons birthday . Again mistakes may happen but every call person has failed to deliver the promise , and would not let me speak to a manager . I am hoping that a member of the senior team will step in and rescue my sons birthday . I also hope the sim arrives as it is a fantastic deal , the problem with great deals they don’t need great service just efficient execution . Regards Simon Tuffill

First of all I noticed I was sent the wrong colour phone. Asked for a rose gold got sent sliver.. after speaking to customer care (have to admit I had a very friendly and helpful guy help me this time) I was informed the rose gold was in fact out of stock. So I decided to keep the sliver. After getting the phone out the box I realised I was sent the wrong phone. Asked for a iPhone 7 was sent a iPhone 6s the same phone I already have. Phone up again and the person I spoke to was very patronising in saying “well they do look similar” and made out they didn’t believe I was sent the wrong phone and that I need to return it so they can look to see if it’s an iPhone 6s. All this and a week later I still don’t have my upgraded phone...

"I still haven't had my refund a month after I returned phone. I have called 3 times and each time I have been promised by customer services that they would call me back after speaking to their accounts Department. I feel that I am being fobbed off. You have held onto my £135 for more than 4 weeks. This is not acceptable. I would like this resolved asap. Ref 92648404
