“I booked a flight and was misled in joining "prime". Then they charged me again for renewal a few days later with a new fee and without my consent for another year after the flight. IMPOSSIBLE to cancel "Prime" on line as their web site is not operating. I had to call them and request to unsubscribe. Took me 25 min to persuade the operator but I lost some 100 € again as they refuse to reimburse me. Also I never got an invoice for all the moneys which I spent on the flight. Never again! Be warned!”

“They tricked me into Prime membership and then you have to call them to cancel it. You cannot do it online. I wonder if that complies with EU data protection laws?? Someone should report them”

“Terms of contract not respected. Accepted payments mentioned in the contract were not true. We had to pay full insurance with a debit car to the rental to be able to collect the car. The rental company mentioned that it is typical from opodo and this booking company had be avoided as they do not respect their contracts and do not value their customers”

“I booked tickets through the Aer Lingus website which took me to a paragraph that I had to tick for prime membership or have charges, I chose the charges as had no other choice,I was charged £206 for 2 seats return for 45 minutes return to Dublin,queried it twice got a list of charges which I have disputed twice, Manager supposed to call me,no call,will call again once home,disgusting,why do set Lingus allow it? Complete scam! The app says I am charged £630 and £460 which is correct? They can't tell me,flights were £240! Return spalling behaviour avoid if you can”

“My experience with Opodo has been poor. Accidentally signed up for Prime. It really wasn't apparent. I booked flights with Opodo but would have saved money if I'd booked directly with the airline. Which I was able to do in the end because the flight booked through Opodo flight was cancelled. Unsatisfactory.”

“Absolutely not worth it! I booked a return flight with them only to get an email the next day saying there was an issue, and they only booked the return part of my journey. Upon checking for confirmation of the return flight, I found out that the booking was no good so I basically paid for nothing. I contacted them for clarification and asked about when they're going to book the outgoing flight, only for them to tell me that I'm responsible for that part of the journey. I asked for a full refund, only to get about half of the amount back. I 100% DO NOT recommend and I will be staying away from them and any company within eDreams consortium”

“I am extremely disappointed with the services of the company! First of all, I was charged an annual fee, although I have a new bank card that was not authorized, but Opodo still took me 70€!!! I called the customer service straight, and I explained that i am pregnant and i won't be able to travel anymore for at list an year. The response I've got was that they can't refund me the money and there is nothing they can do about it!!! I asked to talk with a manager on duty, and on the other side of the phone was man manned Mohamed, which I had difficulties understanding. He wasn't helpful at all! He kept repeating nothing they could do about the charges. Overall, I will NEVER EVER USE OPODO!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!”

“New Rouge trader. Avoid at all cost! I rented a car from Opodo. They use CarTrawler as their agent, but Opodo process my payment. They refused my refund for the 3 week car rental after their agent agreed a refund for providing with an unsafe car that nearly killed us. They also did not vetted their car rental agents and you will likely receive an unsafe car and risk your life. I have experienced that. Don't believe me? Try searching CarTrawler and read other reviews on Google, Trip Advisor and Trust Pilot.”

“Quite shocking that there has been extensive reporting of this shabby operation of Opodo, taking money from customers credit for some Prime scheme after booking a flight - with no notification about any of the payments. And yet no apparent action against them despite multiple upset users. This needs to be taken up with EU and Spanish authorities to stop this fraudulent company operating.”

“They are scammers and Fraudsters. I book through them last year and one year later i am unable to remove my card details from their website. Further more the took 90 euro from my account today. I have reported the scam to the my bank and Mastercard. They are scammers big time DO NOT USE THEM”
