Disgusting service!.I have just posted some items I sold on eBay via Royal mail and they are worth altogether £220.This was on the 4th Sept and 1st Class post Signed for.On checking the tracking number,it states that it is STILL in the main depot and the date is now 15th Sept! .I phoned Royal Mail up and was not even offered an apology or anything.i just got told that it will be there soon off of a very very cheeky woman who said it was my own fault for not sending it special delivery and to use my brain next time!! I am utter disgusted and have reported this further. I could understand if this parcel had been lost and I should of just sent it special delivery instead as I would of got a full refund,but it has not.1st Class has always been safe for me and to know that it has been sitting in a depot for 11 days not sorted is not acceptable.My buyer from eBay is also not happy and will no doubt give me negative feedback for his delayed item.After this issue gets resolved I will start using a parcel company as royal mail is turning into a farce!.

I wouldn’t give them 1 star!! Sent a recorded delivery letter from Swansea to Lancashire... 10 days later it still hadn’t arrived.It turned up at a completely unrelated address in Swansea today & the business concerned were good enough to contact the recipient together with a photocopy of the damaged envelope stating the correct address The documents it contained are a complete mess so no point in sending on !! Caused no end of stress just to perform a simple task !! Useless , illiterate monkeys !!!

Believe me I didn't even want to give one star. Diabolical service. I had a parcel sent to me and was given a tracking number. Yesterday I was told that it was in my local delivery office in Upminster and that it was out for delivery to me at 7.05 that morning. It failed to appear and I had stayed in all day waiting. Following day I looked at the tracker and it still displayed the previous day's message. In frustration I phoned Royal Mail . you are given several different options and I decided to go for complaints. The guy there was helpful and said it was out for delivery today and he would investigate why I hadn't received it yet. If I phone back in 4 days they hope to have an answer. Co-incidentally my neighbour is waiting for a parcel to arrive. She got exactly the same tracking info and like me is still waiting. What is the point of having tracker service if it doesn't work ? It is 3 p.m. And I am giving up hope that I will actually get the parcel today. I can't go to the local depot as it closes at 1 p.m. On their webpage it says open from 8 a.m. To 1 p.m. Non stop, meaning breaks. Long working hours then !

Poor service, staff/management that don't care, an impossible website which seems to just crash my computer when I try to use it. All in all a poor show - if this is what privatisation means please, PLEASE bring back nationalisation! PS pay your staff better wages, treat them with respect then maybe we all get a better service. And paying Rico Back £640kpa is A RIDICULOUS JOKE!! It evidences how so called capitalism has failed us all!

In the last 18 months four letters have not reached there destination. Two of those were sent recorded delivery. What becomes of all the undelivered mail? Thousands of items go missing everyday through Royal Mails hands. The service is appalling

They aren’t a postal delivery service if you have to go and pick the parcel up yourself!!!! Long queues at the collection depot too. Every other delivery service manages to leave with a neighbour or in your ‘safe place’ but not the Royal mail! When I order something I specifically choose a different provider because of this! You need to keep up with the times Royal Mail!

I was waiting for a parcel to come for my holiday, I SPECIFICALLY wrote a note on the door saying if there is no answer can they leave it with a neighbour and don't take it back to the post office, what did they do ? took it back to the post office, they were something for my holiday which I am going on tomorrow so looks like im not bringing it with me then

Absolute useless bastards - once again a special delivery item hasnt turned up before 1pm as promised. You are a fucking waste of time - The word Royal should not be mentioned in your business name. Useless bastards !!!!!!

Over the last 3 years, 4 items that have been sent to me have never arrived. About one third of books ordered from amazon don't arrive; and two parcels of medication, one from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and one from a private seller, have also not arrived. I think it's truly appalling.

This is regarding the Royal Mail shop on their website. I have purchased three times with them over the last year and each time I have received at least one wrong item. The last one was an item that was the wrong price and they do not even honour the price as displayed. I am disabled and have to use two buses to get to the post office so each time I receive a return envelope I have to struggle to the Post Office to get proof of posting. If you want something DO NOT use the website as the are all idiots who can't read basic codes!!!

It is more than 2 months i am waiting for a parcel to come to South Africa and it is not arriving. Tracking it i get the message "the item is now leaving UK" and it is at least 2 months it says so. I try to contact them and they tell me it is the sender who should claim it, I contact the sender and they tell me i have to contact the local office to find out where is the parcel and I cant find a local office phone number for South Africa. A friend of mine send me a wedding gift few months ago with Royal Mail and it has not arrived... she send me a second one with alternative way... Very bad and unacceptable, i don't understand how they still exist with this bad service.

Had a fee to pay card for item sent from USA. Paid the £19.95 (including the £8.00 handling fee) on 9/8/18. Tracking states... Updated on: Saturday 11 August 09:34am Held with fee to pay Maidstone DO Saturday 11 August 07:53am Item Prepared for Redelivery Maidstone DO Saturday 11 August 04:22am Due to be delivered today by Maidstone DO Tuesday 07 August 02:48pm Available for Collection or Redelivery Maidstone DO Tuesday 07 August 11:27am Held with fee to pay Maidstone DO Tuesday 07 August 09:15am Arrived at Maidstone DO So... It was all set to be redilered, and then it went back to fee to pay at the last minute. Tried phoning the DO @ 13.00, to be told it was closed... Web site and card clearly say it's open until 14.00. This is after a series of 'not attempting to deliver', and receiving 'Something for you' cards. I'm always in They are a joke :(

Of all the delivery’s I’ve had I’ve had to go to Bathgate office to collect in the middle of nowhere at stupid hours of opening as I dont think Royal Mail actually deliver anything will always use diff couriers in the future

Waited in for 24hr tracked delivery that had arrived at my local DO (instructed delivery would be today) and lo and behold 16hrs later its gone up to London. Rubbish.

Tracking service is useless. How can you pay for a tracking service which shows that parcel scanned into office but 6 days later on updated tracking information and no one can actually determine where the parcel is!!!! Told it will take another 72 hours to get any information this isn't a service - its a con. Staff very rude and generally unhelpful -

I spoke to some Scottish boy at 14:50 on the 2/08/2018 and he was so rude he couldn’t be bortherd to help he was horrible to me and then cut me of, now I’ve lost out on loads of money because of that man wouldn’t help me find out where my parcels went hope he gets the sack so other people don’t have to be treated like I did

I work for a small business that depends on Royal Mail and they let us down frequently to the point where there new shipping service went down for days in July which meant that we could not dispatch our orders. On top of this they regularly deliver mail late and the customer service you get is rubbish, they might as well say we don't care and there's nothing you can do about it. Thoroughly fed up with them and recommend that if you're a customer ordering something off a website don't use the Royal Mail option as their service is abysmal and when it goes wrong they don't care. Royal Fail not Royal Mail.
