I purchased the extra hot Chiles and I was dissapointed that I got a mixture of mild and hot but none seem to be extra hot. I bought some hot here locally and those were indeed hot.

I use to pick up my peppers in person when I lived in Colorado. This was the first time I ordered on line. I love the peppers, but found we lost 2-3 pounds to spoilage. Living in Missouri I figured the order would arrive sooner than it did. I will not order again.

Hi Ray, it looks like you selected ground shipping against the spoilage warning on the checkout page. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do when a ground order spoils. We clearly advertise that you should choose 2-Day Air and that selecting ground shipping means you accept the risk of spoilage. Next time, please go with the 2-Day Air option when checking out. If you have spoilage on an order shipped 2-Day Air we are able to replace it free of charge. With ground, that just isn't the case.

The chiles are amazing. We paid for 2 day shipping and didn't get the package in 2 days. One of the packages came in 5 days. For paying >$50 for shipping, I did not get what I paid for.

James, I just pulled up your order and it looks like your order was delivered in 2 Days. Can you call in to 575-635-4680 and let us know if this isn't the case? UPS is showing shipment according to our normal Tuesday shipping schedule on 8/16 and delivery two days later on 8/18. Thanks, Preston

I been with this company since 2012 and always been treated great until this year. First try 3 out of 4 boxes came one was lost but the 3 boxes none were what i paid for (lumbre). Great flavor but no heat. The second time they sent 2 boxes which were hot and perfect. On one hand I did get one extra box, but it is still only 2/4 of what I paid a lot for, and that is 50%. Which is an F where I live. The communication so often they didnt have much of a clue, so responses sort of can get you frustated. Average rating for the slight try of making it right.

Roy, I'm very confused by your review. It sounds like you were unhappy with the heat level of the early Lumbre so we re-shipped the box UPS lost and another box for free. Every year there is variation in the level of heat of our chile so sometimes varieties will be a little milder than others. This is to be expected. If we re-shipped the lost box and sent you a 5th box free of charge I'm not sure why you'd be upset with us. Please let us know what we could do to make things right. Best, Preston

Thru were not uniformed like I thought they would be! Ones bought at the market were ! We could have just got a bad batch due to the rain ???

So far, my experience with you are quite limited. I placed my order, paid the money and have waited. I did get a notice that you had to delay shipment of the Big Jim chilies was delayed. Other than this request for a review, I have not heard for you. If this request is to imply that shipment was made, then I must say that I have yet to receive my chilies. I am a native of New Mexico and was raised on the great chiles of Hatch and Shimayo. I look forward to receiving my chilies and roasting the right away. I haven't yet gotten my chiles so can't review, especially since you guys teased us with a shipment and then didn't send. Not an entirely positive experience. However, we get it.

Hi Tanya, Unfortunately, farming chile isn't exactly like running a warehouse for Amazon. Things change quickly in the fields and pods turn red in a matter of days. We have to balance customers' desires to have a few days notice that their shipment is scheduled to go out with the reality that we can't guarantee the order is on the way until the chile has actually been picked. The email you received was not actually a shipment notification but an indication that your order was "scheduled to ship". On the day it was scheduled to go out, there was not enough quality product to fill your order so the following morning we let you know we were unable to ship. I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding and will give you a call Monday to make sure we're on the same page. Hopefully when you receive the chile, you'll enjoy it enough to change your mind :) Best, Preston
