“I ordered 10 lbs in 5 lbs packages of both medium and hot pods and chopped green chile. I really love to peel the skins off the chile but the Hatch Chile Store only provides skinless whole and chopped Green Chile. I believe that freezing the chiles with their skins on helps the roasted/toasted flavor of the peeling on the chile flesh. I love to make my own green sauces using a combination of the hot and medium chiles and use either cubed pork or cubed beef that imparts a full-bodied chile flavor that I grew up with as a northern New Mexico-born and bred former resident. with both Native Pueblo, Apache, and Hispanic DNA.”

“When I receive my order, my chilies were all wet. The egg was everywhere very very messy. I will never ordered anything that’s frozen again. I will order your chilies in a jar or anything that does not have any breading on it.”

“Hello, I live in Alabama and it’s really hard to find some good quality chili, so this is why I shop for chili at hatch. i’m hoping next year that hatch will have extra hot chili because we like it sort of spicy with good flavor and unfortunately. y’all run out of posole mix real fast because online it says it’s sold out. I’m hoping that you all have the opportunity to get some more posole packs ready in the near future. Other than that I really enjoy shopping at hatch for our needs. Thank you.”

“I have access to green Chile where I live in NY. I had never bought red Chile pods before, even when I lived in NM. It was always Green. So I decided to try fresh Red Chile pods. I was excited to try them. They came by when they said. My only disappointment is the number of red Chiles. I would estimate 1/3 was red, 1/3 was red and green and 1/3 was green. For the price paid, it should have been almost entirely red.”

After the earlier shipments I had emailed about a disappointment, and your response was prompt, professional, and polite. By the final shipment, all was made right. Thank you. “I talked a week ago with a lady . The order arrived completely thawed and warm so had to throw away the rellanos .. the lady was supposed to reship some more or refund my money . Daniel called me on the 25th and I have been refunded my money. Thank you. I will order again when the weather is cooler.”

“I have received offers from the Hatch Chile Store for years and always wanted to try their product. Recently, I purchased three (3) jars of their prepared hatch chile to use in stews and soups. When they came, I was completely floored by the way they packaged their product. They went out of their way to make sure none of the jars were broken in transit with the most amazing packaging. Of course, the product was excellent, but I am still amazed by the care they took to make sure I got what I ordered in excellent condition. I am sure I will order more, and will never worry about the condition of the order when it arrived.”

“My only complaint was the fact that it took 3 weeks to ship. I get stuff from China faster. I understand the heat issue...but someone could have informed me much sooner than they did as this was a gift.”

“Fairly happy with this year's order. A lot of that is due to the shipping method (FedEx) FedEx is horrendous here and destroys about as much as they deliver. About half of the peppers were really wilted but edible. Next year, I'll figure out a different way to get them here. Still love your product just not the shipping”

“Red (Hot) chile is delicious. I asked for an order of green hot peppers for Chile Reanllos but I was told that I would have to wait awhile because they were out. Hard to reach anyone during the busy season though.”
