“Thanks had a good experience. I suppose I misunderstood what “2nd Day Air” meant. I placed my order on a Tuesday and it arrived seven days later on the following Monday. So was it two business days from the day it was shipped? If so, would that mean my order was placed on a Tuesday, then it was being filled and processed for two more days, then shipped on day 4, and then arrived on day 7? So what does 2nd day air actually mean.”

“This was my third year ordering peppers. The prior two years were excellent. This year was not. The shipment was supposed to arrive on a Thursday. It did not arrive until the following Monday. Four extra days on a hot truck resulted in many peppers being mushy and had to be thrown away (at least 30 peppers from a 25 pound order). Plus, many of the stems were black and shriveled. This indicates to me the peppers were picked several days before shipment. On the positive side, when I reported the shipment problem, the company responded by sending me 10 pounds of peppers, which I hope t receive this week. This resulted in my going from 1 star to 4 stars.”

“the chili i got this year I had more bad chili than the past two years. The last two years, I only had two bad chilis that were rotten. This year I had 25 bad chilis. But, I do know it was hotter this year in New Mexico and my box was seeping a little from the chili that was bad. Overall, the taste of the chili is great. I will order next year and hopefully next year I won't have many bad chilis. Thank you”

“First order was delivered late and was partially spoiled. After sending an email to company they were quick and friendly. Tgey sent 10lbs to replace the spoilage in last shipment. Chile was great 👍!!! Good flavor and very hot. Made chile rellenos. Miss my home state of New Mexico”

“The product is really great. You can not find better hatch chile products all in one place anywhere. The customer service is just average. I was having difficulty checking out using Shop Pay or PayPal, both of which I have active accounts, and have used recently for other types of purchases. I tried to contact customer service via e mail, then I received a text from a Detroit Michigan phone number wanting some info from me. Red Flag ! I tried again to contact them via e mail about this situation and never heard back ! Also, I was not sure, but the site freshchileco.com and hatch-green-chile.com and hatchchilestore. All sell the same labelled products or are all the same company, hard to tell.”

“The chile is sweet and the right heat--we bought hot--, but it could be roasted a little longer by the Chile Store. The flesh is a bit tough, so it needs a some extra cooking on my end. And I would appreciate the option of being able to order it "skin on," which seals in the flavor and protects the flesh from the freezer. The chile was beautifully wrapped and I really apprecisted the recycleable materials.”

“The chili was very good and tasty. We received two 25 pound boxes. The only issue was that when the boxes were delivered. We opened them immediately and found more spoiled chili (about a dozen to 1 1/2 dozen) then we ever had in years past.”

“I have never had any issue with Hatch Chile Store, with the exception of receiving frozen my chiles (5# medium and 5# hot) above room temperature and unsafe to eat after sittinf in an environment inconsistent with frozen goods. I wish you would put "FROZEN PRODUCE" clearly seen by the shipper so maybe someone would help expedite them a little. However, you made good on your promise and sent another box of them and I got yhem still a little cool, so I put them in the freezer. I really love your product. Even with higher shipping rates ti insure a two or three day delivery to my address, I would gladly pay for them, they are just that goood. My interaction with your family has been positive.”

“This is the second time we have ordered green chile's from this store. We love the chilies. This order was placed before we went on vacation and we requested they be delivered arond the 23 of July after we returned. We got an email saying they had received our request.The day before we left for vacation we noticed the box on the front porch. We left the 14th and the chilies arrived on the 13th. We feel lucky that we were still at home. It could have been very messy.”

“We love the hatch chilies. The delivery was confusing to us the bags had no logo or information on them and while the inside of the box was “cool” the chilies were not frozen as usual. We paid extra for a timely delivery.”
