“The only reason you don’t get a five star is that I went to the site to pre order for the 2019 crop and thought that was what I was ordering. My chilies showed up a few days later and are the 2018 crop. I’m sure they will be fine. However, I saw some post some where , likely Facebook , that said you were taking pre orders. When I got the chilies I went back to the site and could not find where to make a pre order. Just kind of confusing. Maybe I just went too fast. Anyway , take a look. We have not tried the chilies yet but I bet they are perfect”

“Chile pods were received a week earlier than the rest of the products. Chile pods ordered were hot, they had good flavor and fit the bill. Wish other options of XX or XXX hotness chile was available. Salsa was delicious, will order this again.”

“Order arrived in a timely fashion, but the chili’s were partially thawed. Still usable, but I would hesitate to order during warmer months.”

“The chili is delicious, of course, but I got medium heat and there was no heat to it at all. I even left the seeds in. So that was disappointing. It also seemed super expensive! Why was it so high?”

“The delivery was met within the promised time. The only recommendation I would offer is for the Hatch Chile store to offer "sample" sizes for first time buyers. The required minimum purchase is 5 lbs; the scale of taste/spice is unknown. I would have preferred 5 lbs of chile of a variety to make a more informed choice of a favorite (mild-hot). Afterwards, I would purchase a follow on order of my preferred flavor. I have not ordered from other chile producers and will do so. I'll update my comments afterwords. So far, the chile has been wonderful.”

“I love your chiles ..i only had an issue with the website billing ne twice but i got a call and everything was ok. I am truly sorry this had taken so long tp very back to you. I have ordered from you for two years in a row and have been extremely sastified each time! Thank you”

“Chili's were much smaller than last year's chilis. They were tasty, but no heat. Hopefully next yesrs crop will produce meatier, hotter chili's. My order arrived timely and still frozen. Still the best company to order from. Charlotte A.”

“The chiles look good as usual, but the packs were tightl frozen together when I took them out of the box, and I had to half thaw them before I could finally pull apart to put in my deep freezer with some paper towels to space them and refreeze. They arrived very cold, with a lot of dry ice remaining in the box, so I don’t think they thawed and refroze during transit. More likely packed and frozen together at one of your facilities. This is the first time I’ve bought the diced instead of whole chiles, so maybe that’s a factor also. Never had this issue with previous orders.”

“The chiles were 5 star if not more. Thank you. I ordered over the phone and asked for medium. The medium weren't hot enough. I would ask for a hotter one next time. Not due to Hatch, but the order was delayed twice, causing me to reschedule my tamale making party. I'd recommend ordering them earlier and freezing them, if you need them during the holiday. I will order again and probably order even more. Thank you.”

“The service was really good. Nicely packaged. It is quite costly, but you pay for the luxury of having it pre-roasted, peeled and packaged.. This chili is supposed to be medium hot. It definitely trended toward medium and some even mild. It is tasty though. I have been eating green chili all my life and I will say this is good and even though mild, has flavor.”

“Chili's taste good. Delivery of order poor. I had to call and ask where my order was. Email said 3 to 5 business days. On 6th day I called and was told it was going to be the next week. I complained and they shipped the next day. Should not have to do this.”

“I would have given you a 5 star rating as I was very impressed with how fast I received the product. The only problem I had was that I ordered Hot, but what I received was marked as Hot, but wasn’t. I haves loved Hatch chili for many years (my family is from Gallup NM) so I know what the Hot should tast like. I do thank you for a very well run buisness.”

“My son in law drove to Mobile, Al from the Florida panhandle to buy some of the Hatch Chile, which we love since we are from NM. Hurricane Michael then hit & we lost electricity for 2 weeks. We had to throw it all way after we had roasted it. Was so sad! With all we did lose, our Chile was a major loss.”
