DO NOT USE UPS-EVER! They took £14.99 for a parcel delivery they then tried to take a further £2.40 which my bank declined. Went with DHL via Parcel Monkey same parcel £8.49 next day tracked. Needless to say still waiting for my £14.99 to come back and their customer services (if you can call it that) could not be less helpful - they may as well shut that department down.

Rubbish service. Always says out for delivery and never arrives! Don't even bother about about their customer service, useless. I would avoid this company at all cost! If I could give zero star, I definitely would!

What a nightmare and still haven’t received my parcel. Paid extra to be delivered in 2 days. We are now into the 5th day at my parcels still sat at the same location. It’s a new light for my car which without is illegal to drive. I now have a handicapped child at home very frustrated that he can’t go out. Customer care is a waste of time. Avoid using this company.

We shipped a large and heavy parcel to an elderly friend who was house-bound due to a pending hip replacement operation. Despite him being at home, UPS never bothered take the parcel to the recipient and simply dumped the parcel at an off-licence store in his neighbourhood. No card was left at his home, the package simply never arrived and we had to follow up with UPS in order to find out where the parcel actually was. My friend had to fetch the parcel (difficult because of size, weight and his age) and bring it home on foot. Seven telephone calls (more than 3 hours on the phone) later, my friend was eventually assured that a refund had been approved and was given a 'refund approval number', which he forwarded to me. A couple of weeks later we contacted UPS and were told that the refund was being processed for payment. A month later, the refund had still not been paid and we again chased UPS. This time we were told that the refund had never been approved and that no refunds were being paid due to the pandemic! In any business things can go wrong from time to time, after all, we all make mistakes! In such cases I would expect an earnest attempt to put things right. UPS clearly has no intention of doing this and is fundamentally a dishonest business, BLATANTLY LYING to get a customer off the phone with assurances of a refund while having no intention of ever refunding a service that they failed to deliver.

An update. My parcel HAS now arrived and intact! Website still insists that it is 'In Transit' meaning that it hasn't reached the delivery depot. This is directly taken from the UPS.com website: "Your package is still within the UPS network and, unless otherwise noted, should be delivered on the scheduled delivery date." So, I've given UPS another star (in my last review, I would have given them zero) because the information that I was told in an email from Customer Services (that my item would be delivered today) turns out to be true (who'd have thought it eh?) I still wouldn't use them however given the overwhelming majority of negative reviews here and on other sites and my own personal experience.

Wish I could leave zero stars - I can't however! UPS is the worst courier/delivery company I have ever dealt with. Sadly on this occasion it was Amazon that chose to use them (how I wish they hadn't)! My parcel was sent from Milano, Italy and managed to make it across the Channel and into the UK within a few days of ordering - so far so good. SInce Sunday 13th Dec, I have had numerous notifications that my parcel is 'Out for Delievery today' - yet my parcel hasn't arrived and is who knows where? UPS don't seem to know. I have had this 'Out for Delivery notification for each of the past THREE days (14/12, 15/12 & 16/12) - and no delivery. This morning, yes, another 'You'll have it delivered today (17th)' - this time in an email from Customer Services - the tracking part of the website disagrees however and says it is 'In Transit' (which apparently means it hasn't got to the delivery depot yet). The tracker on their website isn't an accurate narrative record of your parcel's journey (as it purports to be) - it is more like a work of fiction as it keeps changing what is being displayed - sometimes within an hour or so. So far I have had 'Out for Delivery' followed by 'In Transit', 'Delay', 'Out for Delivery', 'In Transit', 'Out for Delivery', 'In Transit' - you get the idea! All you get from UPS Customer Service are platitudes and the promise that it will be delivered today (this is now day 4), but they can't give me a time or even a slot merely 'by the end of the day' - which means (apparently) anthing up to 9/10pm. In an email from Customers Services this morning I was told, quote: "Due to this upcoming holidays, we are experiencing high volume of parcels... " Who would have expected THAT with Christmas approaching and most of the country in Tier 3 restrictions due to Covid and all but essential shops and stores being closed?! Another line in the email says "but good thing we have contingency plans to make delivery faster". Really? They clearly aren't working then! I'd bet the house on it not arriving today - time will tell if I have made an accurate assesment of this joke of a company. My advice? AVIOD, AVOID, AVOID.

Christmas shopping tip: If you want to buy any item online or even send a letter, please try and avoid this courrier. Even if you love what the online seller is selling or even if the item is cheaper compared to another website, please please buy from that website that does not use UPS as a courrier! It is terrible. They will give false updates online then give you false hope that item will come within a reasonable time frame but no, it won’t! Trust me! They change the delivery date last minute, then change again and then one day you will not see any update at all and poof! Item lost. You will go through the hassle of filling up claim forms and without being given the reassurance of a definite time frame that they will resolve the issue. You will be unable to contact their local offices in the UK and instead you will be redirected to a call centre in the Philippines. So please, avoid UPS.

Useless service! No idea how to deliver as paid for. Lie after lie told. On a par with Hermes as being dire.

My road was closed so they couldn't deliver and I was not given an "InfoNumber". Endless circular algorithms drove me mad. I couldn't speak to a live body - absolutely hopeless service. Would never use them if I had a choice.

Would never use this if given a choice. I though it would be great seeing it is a quite established provider, but could not be further from the truth. One delivery attempt and when I tried to track the parcel, it was so confusing. Had to sign up to some choice service just to track a parcel.....and even doing that didn't help at all. called the customer service and they said it's at a collection point in London....I live in Bedford, how do you equate that? Calling was also pointless, had to call multiple times and demanded it to be delivered to my home. will NEVER use UPS!!!
