Do not purchase your bathroom from Wickes! You do not get a 2 year guarantee, I have asked where mine is and my bathroom was installed in September 2023! It is a disaster, many faults despite two installs, they were to reuse my shower but broke it and left it to me to sort, I had laminate boards at £560 a board put on all walls to be joined by expensive colour match joints yet they joined them with cheap silver strips. Plus most boards are cracked, they fitted the wrong light bezels and painted them in! The fitters excuse for many many disasters. I am not a bathroom fitter I am a kitchen fitter and wanted to work for Wren kitchens but they would not have me. I mean for goodness sake Wickes. I have made over 31 phone calls where no one phoned me back, many many emails, I literally forced the store manager to take action and come round hence I have in writing that it is so bad you have to see it with you own eyes to believe it. And yet I still Wickes apparently do not do refunds! You just get ripped off

Worst ever customer services -reluctant to even call it that- you will wait 45 mins - speak to muliply people who will express sympathy - make promise to take action. give times dates to call back ...you will hear NOTHING

Arrogant manager who refused to accept my mower as Returned because it had been used. Of course I used it or I wouldn't have been able to tell it was not suitable for my garden. Ordered online so I should be covered by the CONSUMER CONTRACTS REGULATION 2013 but not with wickes. My 14 days expired today so I can't arige the case any more. Disgusted that such a large company blatantly ignores regulations. Only buy items if you can guarantee you won't be returning them

the laminated floor I purchased from the York store would not stay together. I called in a expert joiner who showed me that some of the clip edges were not correctly machined . The under manager said they have had a lot returned, but before I was given a refund the manager stopped it and said that I could have shaved the edges to get a refund . I called head office who said go back to the store for a refund and call then if the manager stops it. I have been a customer of wicks for over 30 years over which time I always had good service . Now I will even pay extra to avoid going there.

Ordered a Forget me not Arbour. Arrived damaged and a piece missing. Wickes asked us to take up complaint with their supplier who won’t respond to emails. Wickes then gave us a phone number that was disconnected. Emailed Wickes again asking them to resolve problem but zero response….

6 weeks to fit a bathroom in an average sized bathroom told would take 2 weeks & then to return to fix 5 issues found afterwards. It was started 2 weeks later than informed for which we took 2 weeks holiday to cover installation. Wickes authorised installer VS worked half days & did not attend for 3 days. Used 5 extra packs of tiles. Had to be told to mitre corners of plastic edging. No Hippo bag provided ‘til week 5. Wrong shower diverter sent twice & then told discontinued although still in catalogue. Person coming to check work - visited twice & never asked if we were happy with work or ever questioned works estimated to take 2 weeks took 6weeks. Customer complaints thought a 2.94% compensation was ok. Poor customer service. Gave money back for wrong diverter, extra tiles bought plus £200.

To Wickes Customer Services I would like to inform all would-be customers before you use Wickes PLEASE BE AWARE OF WHAT YOU NEED TO CONSIDER You must expect to have the kitchen and bathroom design that they choose to fit and not the one you have chosen You have to except you maybe without the fitting of a shower for months and when it's finally fitted its far more of a trip hazard for you and not the low level shower tray that your Wickes designer promise. Don't expect the work to be completed on time our kitchen and bathroom project started October 2022 and still not finished You must realise they take your quality fitting away and replace them with items that don't work or are poorly fitted, we had a perfect working extractor fan that was replaced by one that is not fit for purpose we had a bathroom cabinet with fully working electrics but the replacement doesn't. My garage is still full of Wickes stuff that they left behind. Most important you must have home insured all damage to your property or work that your kitchen and bathroom designer advised you pay cash to the installer for although they are employed by Wickes I've been given their names and business address and told to pursue them privately so don't do what I did and leave them the keys and move out of the property. There are many other problems we have had with Wickes kitchen and bathroom installation so please think very carefully before you allow them into your home. If any part of this you believe to be untrue please contact me .

Purchased 5 door lining kits from Wickes Swindon, 2 of which were severely warped and one of the headers rebates was narrower than the uprights, really poor. I noticed one had a split in the timber at checkout and the assistant just said put it back on the rack for some poor unsuspecting customer.

I went to wickes b Hill today bought some building supplies, well nearly. First off I asked if they could cut a piece of plaster board in half to get it into my vehicle. The 60 year old or round abouts with glasses woman replied we don't do that hear we've not the facilities. (with a nasty way about her. Ok I said. So I didn't have any. I picked up sealer x2 a paddle and a saw and a tub of filler, Went to pay for it and she tried to charge me £10.00 more than the price said on the shelf. I said I'm sorry I'm not paying that price for a tub of filler you need to check that price. She replied with a huff and take it or leave it. I replied great customer service love.! So I left and said I'm not coming back. That's the 3rd time of rudeness. Rubbish customer service. I suggest wickes should have some mystery shoppers in hear. Not all dag staff. Great products though.

When ordering my bathroom, I was convinced by the designer that the laminate boards would be fine in the shower area. I was fed up with grout getting discoloured. Less than 2 months after my bathroom was finished. The top layer of the laminate on the mermaid board is lifting off. 5 months later and endless calls and promises of replacement boards that never arrived Wickes are now telling me its too late to complain. Shocking. Probably made at least 10 call so far. Many emails and requests to speak to a manager has fallen on deaf ears.

Absolutely terrible. Don't pay their approved installers for work done, with issues but these were due to others errors.

Only ordered a pot of paint from oxford store and went to pick up the following day. Travelled 10 miles to store. Handed over printed copy of order with all details, but then they asked for a pin number texed to my phone. On checking my phone it transpires i was not sent a text! I was refused the paint! What a load of rubbish Wickes are.

Tried to book someone for a design for a kitchen! As they advertise!! Well unless your doing a bespoke kitchen they don't do this! Also the customer service is appalling was told to go into the store. First lady l spoke to was very patronising. You have to tell them if you want it installed by them or not! And how much your spending? Which is bizzare! The last lady l spoke to was nicer but just kept repeating herself. Basically saying if your not paying 20k upwards you'd have to measure it yourself? They contact you quickly but if your in the "basic" range! Here not mine words then your on your own she did mention a video design. But l take it you have to measure it yourself. Kitchens start from 4k I've heard a lot of bad reports about wicks and l can see why. As a disabled person l couldn't possible measure it. Reading further reviews, I'd avoid.

From start to finish everything ran smoothly. From first entering Wickes at the Redditch branch and speaking to Matt Soper who was very helpful and supportive. The installation was done by Richard who went above and beyond in making sure I had a stress free installation. I cannot recommend Richard enough and his team, he kept me in the loop at all times as I had moved to daughters whilst work was carried out. All the team were so polite and hard working and have done an excellent job. Richard is very professional and is a credit to Wickes, I would definitely recommend him. Thank you Richard and your team for doing such an amazing job, I love my new bathroom. Angela

Yesterday another male called to.fix heater he installed previously. HEATER IS NOT.HEATING. AGAIN.!!!! K HAVE PAID FOR THE HEATING. HE is a decent polite man. But all lights on but no heat...I am in a real.state. what next?

A mess up with delivery and suprise suprise wixes don’t care and had to cancel the tiler and plumber night before . I was told by them I shouldn’t have booked anyone in 🤣🤣🤣

I have wasted 9.months of my only life With useless installers oh! One could tile well!!. NEVER PAY THEM WEEKLY CASH AS I DID..MASSIVE ERROR.... IN 7 DAYS ALL WILL BE OVER!!! I hope. Pity theb2 males went into my bedroon& Helped themselves to my possessions etc Disgusting

The installers behaved.badly Towards a single pensioner No respect. They went through all my.clothes..and items stealing.msnh items. The ceo is mo Not interested. Police are useless on.croydon 8.5.months stoll.not.finished Paying the installers cash in.hand was silly Ing

I don’t even want to give him one star, absolutely appalling, disgusting company. If any company should go under. It’s this one brought my dream. Kitchen was miss sold please please do not go to Wickes.

Shocking Behaviour installers from Catford. They stole.many personal items Including precious jewellery They are badly raised 8.5 months and work.not m complete as lazy males
