“Never provided their services after calling to report a punctured tyre on a motorway with a baby in the car and pregnant woman. After 6.5 hours had to call a local company to help us. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.”

“AVOID THIS COMPANY! they do not care wether you are vulnerable or disabled they have you waiting hours whilst telling you its going to be another half an hour when infact they aren't on their way to you at all! They make you miss important appointments whilst waiting for them, go with AA!!!! I cannot stress enough how bad this company is. You go through their investigations to be offered a petty amount of money for your inconvenience of them putting the phone down on you! Disgusting service”

“Been waiting 4.5 hours for recovery no sign yet. Apparently people travelling abroad now that Covid restrictions have lifted in the summer is the issue. It’s November!!”

“One star is too generous. My son broke down on the evening of the 2nd of November. They left him stranded before putting him in a hotel at half past eight last night. He's still not been rescued and it's 10:15 on the 4th. Disgusting. Don't go with the RAC.”

“You can't just ring them now you have to go online which is practically useless unless maybe it breaks down outside your house. There is a phone option for people who can't get online but they just put you on hold. I won't be renewing, it's a complete waste of money.”

“Been broken down since 09.20 02/11/21. I'm sat in toddington services 03/11/21 14.50 STILL waiting to be recovered. Took them 25hrs to get me from London to toddington services. Still have a long wait ahead. Waiting over 4hrs to for RAC to ring me. Worst recovery service EVER!!!!!!!!!”

“Get AA cover don't use these cowboys!! Stay clear they've kept us waiting 20 hours and our vehicle still hasn't arrived back on a recovery truck. Instead they have taken the vehicle without our permission to a storage compound!”

“I broke down today on the M25 motor way with my friends. I am with RAC and I would like to thank Armajit for picking me and my friend up and getting us both home safe. Including organising a taxi and bringing our car home safe. Thank you so much.”

“Today we discovered a flat battery,and Mark arrived very quickly.The battery turns to be beyond help and we decided to take it to our local garage while Mark had got it going ,but not trusting it,he followed us and stayed with us till he was satisfied we were ok, very kind man! We were very impressed,Thankyou Mark.Dunston Lincs.”

“called rac (first time Iv ever had to after 10 years membership) at 7 pm as car had imobilised on a garage forecourt, I had my 10 year old son with me, and had been trying already for 20 mins to get car running, they told me if i had not been contacted within 2 hours to call.. i then recieved a string of automated messages apologising for the delay, and saying they would be in contact within 30 mins.. called them after 3 hours, and was told they were very busy.. continued getting messages every 30 mins, by 11.30 (4 1/2 hours later) I called again, we had been sitting on a garage forecourt for near 5 hours, the garage had closed, it was dark cold raining and my son was upset and hungry, i explained this and was told they could either cancel the job and do it tomorrow, or we could wait with an eta of approx 5 hours!, although they could offer me a taxi home (6 miles) and then call me when patrol was 1/2 an hour away, at which point I would need to get back to the car.. meaning staying up all night waiting for the call then getting my son out of bed trying to book at taxi at 4.30 am getting car fixed or towed then getting to work for 8.. I told them to cancel the job, send a taxi to take me back to work to pick up another car, and leave it at that I'd sort it myself.. seriously unbelievable, felt very sorry for the people on the phone as not their fault.. so after several text messages, and two more calls they anounce a taxi will arrive by 12.30 am!.. so another 3/4 hour wait.. I could have booked one and been at work within ten mins if id done it myself!.. rac you are a total joke, Im about to call you and tell you so, this is supposed to be you "business" recovery plan.. shocking. fail. goodbye rac thanks for nothing”
