Tracking claimed that my neighbour refused my parcel, I knew this was a lie because over the three years I’ve lived at my address several of my neighbours have taken in parcels for me. When speaking to DPD customer services the agent checked the drivers GPS which showed he was half a mile away from my address when he entered his fraudulent claim!! Bunch of cowboys!!

A DPD driver (swindon area) attempted to steal my (expensive) parcel, and tried to claim i signed for it. It took them a week to locate the package before promising and failing to redeliver twice and I still don't have my package! Because of the incompetence of this service, i will be turning up to my family gathering without a Christmas present. I feel beyond let down by this service.

Hopeless beyond belief. If you are to receive a parcel and it’s being delivered by this mob.....tell the company you’re buying from to not bother sending it. You won’t get next day delivery so don’t pay for it. 3 days I’m waiting for my next day delivery. I’ve even been to the depot. They’ve no idea where it is. Do yourself a big favour, buy on the High St and get your goods in your hand. I gave them a rating of 1....only because there was no 0

Jason - how do we get in touch - it is certainly time that DPD were made accountable. They are most definitely fraudulent and this can be proved.

We at Market.Be bought a package from a company. They used DPD as their courier. The experience was full of fault from start to finish. The consignment was business critical! A campaign launch for Christmas which needed to be with us before the 23rd December, as the target benefactors were packing up and going home. It was launch then, or the company dies. DPD were appointed to deliver it by the company in November. Initially, in November, we received an email stating that DPD had it (from DPD themselves). The packages was due for delivery on the 15th December. It wasn't even picked up! It was picked up on the 17th December! The package made its way to the UK and was due to finally reach us on the 20th. We received the SMS and email with the allocated time-slot. So expected it. It never arrived! There was radio silence from DPD! The next day, the driver obviously needed an excuse. So wrote up that the Self-Storage Warehouse we use was closed at midday. This was categorically false! Not just that, but the CCTV for that period showed the driver never arrived nor attempted to deliver. Contacting DPD is next to impossible. The social media feeds are unmanned and unmonitored. The email don't get replied to in reasonable time-frames. You can't call anybody and expect to be on hold less than an hour. We had to install the app and we were hung up on, by their staff, 5 times in total. Our emails yielded absolutely zero satisfaction! The driver was of course a pathological liar! Filling in his reasoning a day after. He then apparently decided he went to the wrong place. Which is the answer we received from the customer services department. However, by then the damage was on the way to being done! There is a blank refusal to deliver a consignment less than 9 days late. The next thing we knew, we received an SMS stating that WE had requested a change of delivery date. We did no such thing! We immediately logged in to try and get them to deliver on the 21st or 22nd, to save the business. The only date we were given was the 24th! A day after the business MUST close in the event it could not be delivered. We had no other option bar the 24th Dec, the earliest! So we picked it to prevent them sending the consignment back to Stoke! My colleague even drove to the depot in Irlam to pick up the consignment. He was met by intransigence by the depot staff. Who hung up on him at the intercom. He was on the phone to DPD customer services for an hour an a half! Hung up on 3 times in that period. It's his company. He doesn't want to close and make his staff redundant this close to Christmas. He has personal debts that guarantee investment and this is a huge personal risk to him. DPD didn't care! They refused to search for the consignment. Even though that information will have been scanned on to the van/lorry. As you can imagine, he's mortified. Which is why I'm writing the review on his behalf. I may be out of a job next week thanks to DPD! Well done you disgusting bunch of idiots! What has become clear since, is that the number of social media complaints that DPD are receiving, many of which mirror our experience over the last two days of the 21st and 22nd December 2018, are staggering! Tens of thousands of customers suffering exactly the same pathological lying experience (albeit that we are one of few business customers). DPD obviously show nothing but contempt to their customer base. We are looking at beginning a class action against DPD for liquidated damages and consequential losses, which, although DPD attempt to absolve themselves of blame for, isn't excluded in the normal course of events, especially where there is clear and unequivocal evidence of fraud. Which we do consider this to be. However, that aside, it still does not solve the problem of where our parcel is. We have been fobbed off with "they are searching for it" which is of course, false and an attempt to get us offline. It is just lie after lie. We have images, videos and call recording of the actions we have tried to take. If anybody else has evidence and would like to participate in the class action we seek to take, do get in touch.

DPD lost the parcel, claimed they had no record of it. Then how did they manage to send email notifications out that the parcel will be delivered the next day? This was meant to be a Xmas present for my little one. Now it is lost and won't arrive in time for Xmas. Disappointed kid.

Driver lied! Claimed that the delivery location was closed. Not true. Confirmed with destination that no DPD van arrived on site, via CCTV. Phoned DPD, was hung up on twice. They didn't care! Christmas ruined!

Why can't the Driver at least state the time and date of supposed delivery on their card? Two cards dropped - one put in the letter box and the other between the entrance doors. Can't be sure of the one dropped into the letter Box, but I was in for the one put between the entrance doors. It's like magic, a few minutes I have gone through that door and there was no card - otherwise it would have naturally dropped on the floor as I opened the door. Few minutes later, I was on my way to the loo when I saw a card sticking out between the doors. But I was in my Office and there was no indication he made any attempt to get my attention on his arrival. Beware of this company!!

Total failure to deliver, broken promises, lies and ignorance. I would never trust this company ever again. I would rather rely on a cage full of carrier pigeons before I even consider thinking about DPD. In the end I contacted the sender to recall and use a more competent company. Good riddance DPD, hopefully I never have to deal with you again.

DPD failed to deliver my parcel on FOUR occasions. Firstly, their DOZY DRIVER attempted delivering to the wrong address. Secondly, having added as much detail to ensure delivery, including leaving parcel in front porch, DOZY DRIVER took a picture of front of house, didn't deliver and drove off. Thirdy, having been patched through to the local depot, I was assured the parcel would be re-delivered that same afternoon. The DPD driver failed to turn up. Complained to DPD Head Office and was assured the parcel would be delivered next day. Finally, to add insult to injury, I received a text from the local depot acknowledging my request to have the parcel delivered next day! I NEVER made that request! As a last resort I contacted the seller who took the order away from DPD and arranged delivery the next day with TNT. Delivering to my house couldn't be easier, as Hermes, Parcel Force and Royal Mail have no problems in doing so. Had it been possible I would not have given DPD any star rating. They are inefficient, untruthful and totally unreliable ... avoid DPD at all costs!

Unreliable - Driver claims none delivery, when he didn't turn up at my house Very poor and unreliable service. Complained to the driver who delivered a badly damaged parcel. He was rude and arrogant and claimed nothing to do with him. New parcel is sent. Driver claims he tried to deliver but nobody at home despite the fact that I was and can see my drive from my window. When complained to DPD, I was told driver refused to deliver because I had complained the previous time. They totally ignored the fact that driver provided his office with incorrect and misleading information. You wonder how they run the business.

Managers - if you and your drivers have to lie and cheat about deliveries showing total unreliability and disrespect to customers time and trust - what does this say about your broken system and recruitment ?? As for customer experiences dept they should ball be sacked starting at the top as they are a disgrace. DPD have to be the worst delivery company by far and should be avoided

The worst delivery company in the country. I can’t believe John Lewis uses this terrible dishonest company. Two items were to be delivered yesterday.I requested they be placed in a safe space as I wasn’t going to be in.Get an email saying my items have been delivered and that I have signed for it.Needless to say I hadn’t and the items were nowhere to be found.Called the John Lewis helpline who said DPD had left it in the safe space. They of course had not.If my experience of this awful company is anything to go by they regularly go to the wrong address.Thats £35 pounds wasted and a Christmas present I desperately needed for someone that I’m not going to be able to give. Please John Lewis Dont so business with these people.Everytime I unintentionally get something delivered and I discover they are using DPD I know that there will be a problem, and there always is! They are a terrible, lazy dishonest company and the sooner companies stop using them the better!

FURIOUS! DPD will claim nobody was at home, even though someone was!! I have had this issue before with DPD a few months back. I complained and received a less than satisfactory response. Why am I not surprised this has happened again? If I had known DPD were the courier, I would have ordered the item elsewhere! I have been waiting at the home for the delivery all day, and the driver has simply taken a picture of the block of flats from the street and driven off claiming I am not in. I was in. I was tracking him on the website at the time. I have no option to leave the item in a safe place. If I did, I would have it delivered to a safe place, so there is no excuse. Why does this keep happening? How can I receive my item? Obviously the driver doesn't want to deliver this to my address as its to much hassle for him. Please note the photograph shows the block of flats and not my front door. This photo was taken from the opposite side of the street.

Gets 1 star because I can't give it none. Driver turned up on time (about the only thing they got right), first he gave me the wrong parcel and had to come back to the door for it. He then went back to the van and said he could not find my parcel as the van was full and it had probably fallen down behind something else. He then stated he would return later that day once the van was empty and he'd found it, he never bothered coming back with it so not only had I wasted a day waiting in until the delivery time, I then wasted the rest of the day waiting on him not coming back. I then had to waste another day waiting in for it again. As for their complaints department, don't wast your time, their slogan is Make it Right but a slogan is all it is, it really stands for we'll do nothing at all. Edit: Parcel finally turned up today, that's only a day and a half wasted. It was the same driver so I asked him why he din't come back, he said he couldn't find the parcel in his van when he'd delivered everything else. So it's either carelessly not been put in the van on the day it was supposed to be delivered or the driver is lying because he couldn't be bothered coming back that day. Either way simply not good enough. The only thing that surprises me is that anybody still uses this company to deliver their stuff, I certainly won't ever and I'll steer anybody I know clear of them. This in't the first issue I've had with them either.
