“Well they did it again!!! turned up didn't ring my bell, left a card and have now lost my parcel !!! Told to contact sender like it is their fault !!! DPD are a disgrace and should not be trusted. I will NEVER use any company who uses them again. As for complaining to Customer Services - forget it...you might as well talk to a scarecrow .... you would certainly get more sense, more interest and less insults !!”

“What a pitiful message greets you after you 40 minute wait to get through to Customer 'Services' What sort of company would put out a recorded message like tis? Absolutely pathetic and a clear indication of what a sad pathetic and useless company DPD have become - sack them all ! Bye Bye DPD your time is up !”

“Posted missed delivery card before any attempt to knock. Got my parcel as I was stood by the door. Called customer services to complain and found an unprofessional attitude geared towards making poor excuses and unhelpfulness. Funny that when you call customer services the head of "customer experiences" has recorded a message asking you not to be rude to her staff- that says all you need to know about the experience of their customers!”

“If you are a company relying on good service and prompt and reliable delivery you would be very foolish to use DPD no matter what their deal. You WILL loose custom and reputation - be warned - DPD are a very unreliable and dishonest company bordering fraudulent. They don't care about their customers and their customers are your customers. Their awful reputation will also reflect yours !”

“Absolutely disgusting and appalling company - they I was home all day waiting for the delivery, then they "missed me" and left a card. They didn't even knock my door, and not left a card! The same thing happened the next day, now my delivery was sent back to the company I bought it from and I don't even know when I will receive it! Please go ahead and report them to the company you bought your goods from. Only this way they will see how useless they are and stop using them.”

“I now have 4 emails apologising for 'missing me' when I was in waiting for them....this equates to 4 days of my life DPD !!! Apparently the parcel is now lost - and I should contact the sender !!!!!!!! I will certainly be contacting the sender to inform them of this and to let them know that if they are to continue using DPD then I will not buy from them !! Terrible unreliable and dishonest company that does not deserve to be in business and at this rate soon won't be. Just look at all the reviews with very similar issues and complaints - do DPD respond? Do they care ? Do they respect their customers ? Clearly not.”

“Waited for my delivery all morning - I got a text to say it would be delivered by 10:07 am. Nobody ever turned up but on the tracking system it appears that I have received the goods and even signed for it- this is complete fraud! Have been on the phone to them all day, the claim they cannot get hold of the driver. Complete waste of my time! This company is full of lies and lame excuses.”

“dpd are the worst delivery service I have ever had to suffer .pointless emails sent to me telling me you are going to deliver ,no one comes ,then emails sent end of day saying sorry we missed you we have left a calling card ,we will deliver tomorrow ,wait in all day next day and no one comes ,again end of day emails saying sorry we missed you .its very strange that on the second day of waiting in ,I received the parcel from royal mail and I received the parcel from yahoo but nothing from dpd .this is the second to third time I have put up with this nonsense.i have noe written to the bhf charity whom I buy a lot from imforming them that as long as they continue to use dpd as a delivery service ,I will no longer be purchasing their goods .if you cant make a delivery on time ,be honest and stop wasting peoples time by making them stay at home all day and then posting false emails claiming to have called. disgusting .”

“Customer Services should be replaced by Gypsy Rosie Lee or another fortune teller. Their department is just the worst ever and how they have the gaul to call it Customer 'Services' god only knows. They seem to despise their customers and not have any idea about 'Service' - They are rude and ignorant and the company they work for is inefficient, unreliable and dishonest - AVOID !”

“My delivery arrived earlier than planned before I get home and when I called to rearrange I was eventually told they would try but couldn’t promise for later that day. Then I was told I would get a call that never came, then I was told it would be the next day - Saturday and while still on the live chat I received an email saying it would be Monday then they returned it to the supplier!! I will NEVER have anything to do with this company again.”

“Never got my parcel. DPD provided a time slot, I made sure to be at home during this period, stayed for 2h until I got a notification that my parcel was delivered (and even worse: I appearently signed for it) whereas nobody showed up. I called their customer service straightaway to understand what just happened. I spent 20mins over the phone, they couldn’t get hold of the driver. I was given a location where he seemed to have delivered the parcel, few blocks away from my delivery address. I went there to ask them whether they received any parcel under my name, nothing. Before I even mentioned DPD, they told me “wasn’t it DPD by any chance?”. They apparently have regular issues with the deliveries DPD organises and the driver seemed to be known for ticking parcels as being delivered even when it was not done just to meet his targets during given time slots. He sometimes shows up hours later when it is convenient for him. What is the point of their tracking system then? Luckily I have a video camera recording people buzzing at my door and he attempted to deliver the parcel an hour late....obviously I was no longer there and didn’t get a chance to receive it. I have been chasing their customer service for 3 days now and explained what happened, but haven’t managed to get an answer about where my parcelis. I didn’t choose this delivery company, it was the one used by the website I ordered for, but would definitely advise to stay away from them. Not reliable and unable to answer as basic questions as where a parcel is after I gave full information.”

“Well today they have earned their one star as I did receive my parcel - it was 4 days behind their stated schedule but I did get it - they didn't break it - it wasn't lost or stolen - and I didn't have to ring customer services for a 5th time - so DPD you can have your one star !”

“Totally useless! The live map is not live. It showed the driver 15 mins away for over 6 hours. He never did show up until the following day. The hour time slot is a joke. When you try to call the number it cuts you off.....absolute rubbish!!”

“Anonymous - Re plant pot money - It should be very easy for DPD to identify who this driver is if you supply the details....The only snag is that they will probably promote him to Management of this pathetic company !!”

“DPD driver was observed by my neighbour on my property moving a plant pot that I had left some money under for a fuel delivery and taking something, the money was taken before the fuel delivery arrived and we have no money for more fuel this winter. Absolutely disgusting especially at Christmas. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY”

“Let down again today and now it seems parcel never left depot for scheduled delivery that I took time off work for. I am so sick of DPD's unreliable system that wastes so much of it's customers time and money. This has happened many times before and I will no longer use any suppliers who use DPD as they are useless and when you complain totally ineffective and rude - they don't seem to care.”

“Disgusting service. Cancelled my delivery from online store which was using DPD, and bought the same item again from another online store and paid £10 extra, but they were not cooperating with DPD. paid extra but at least, I know my item will be delivered, DPD will not drive away while I am waiting my parcel in the house all day. And I think whoever gives 5 star to DPD, they are the DPD workers' relatives and friends :D”
