Order coming from Prague to uk. Got to dpd depot in Preston then it was turned around and sent back to Prague, high value item i am very stressed. Customer service said yeah sorry we made a mistake but you’ll just have to contact the sender and sort it out yourself, I asked them to sort it for as they are a logistics company and could easily redirect my parcel to me, they said they have no control of the parcel once it’s left their depot, ?//a logistics company with no control of parcels??? I don’t know if or when I will now get my item, I’ve wrote to their ceo but I won’t hold my breath after reading the reviews here. My son saved for 14 month to buy this item and now he is left stranded without his money or his item and DOD are saying yeah sorry mate can’t help, shameful behaviour, I wish I cumulative have scored them less than one star.

Promised my delivery today now apparently there is a "backlog" of parcels. Shouldn't promise something that cant be done. Useless set of morons. I will not be using them again and will do my best to notify as many people as possible of dpds terrible service. Every time I've used dpd I've been promised a certain date only to be let down. Disgusting customer service. 1 star is too much for such an appalling company

One day delivery became nightmare and now DPD says we can't find your item.. Seriously ? this is ridiculous. You pay more money and expect a better service, then this happens. Day 1 - Ordered item with next day delivery option Day 2 - Driver lied. Marked as "No one present to collect.". Though I taken off from my work and stayed at home just for this. (I was waiting just outside my door during scheduled time, till my leg hurts). But they are big LIARS. Day 3 - I lost hope on DPD, their drivers & in their delivery service. So I asked them to deliver it to my nearest collection point. Guessing they cannot say now "No one present". Smart isn't it...? NOPE. They came up with new reason this time - "Your parcel could not be delivered as we don't have the required contact name/number". Seriously ??? You collect and register an item to deliver without person name and contact number ?? And I don't believe this. This is another lie. Because no way their automated call service could identify my parcel without linking my mobile number with it. THEY LIED AGAIN. Day 4 - Person from DPD customer care asked me to contact sender in order to update the missing info. My sender was shocked and assured me that DPD has every info. But they contacted DPD anyway. Now since I lost every hope.. I decided to visit depot to collect my item. So I called customer care and asked them to schedule a pickup today. Person in the call said "Someone from depot will call me to issue a pickup time". Then I got a call from depot not to issue a pickup time but to inform another shocking news. He said "We couldn't find your item. We don't know where it is exactly at this moment. We will look for it and we will give a call when we find it.". Never heard anything from them again... How could they lose an item from depot? Worst management ever. Don't they know how to organize and keep customers stuff. Day 5 - Today... I am scratching my head... thinking what to do ?. I am cursing myself for using DPD. Last time, when DPD lost my item, I told myself to not use DPD again. But look what happened. I didn't know my sender uses DPD, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered anything from them. Complete waste of time, money and energy... most of all, they will give you stress.... When they gonna realize customer is the key to their business and they need to keep customer happy? Look at the number of negative reviews pouring here everyday. Each DPD employee is customer of someone else to.. right? Will they be happy if they receive unacceptable service? I could give 0 or negative ratings. DPD sells STRESS instead SERVICE.

If I could rate you less than zero, I'd gladly do. You don't have to be in business if you have no business to deliver customer satisfaction. I wonder what the objectives of such a company as DPD IS WITH THE WAY THEY TREATED MY PARCEL. In this age and time, DPD is the worst delivery company I ever encountered. Royal Mail beats you anyway anytime. Lazy drivers full of lies and customer service agents are irresponsible and this is a reflection of the company ethos. Ten (10) days after I'm meant to receive an express delivery it's still hanging in their depot with series of excuses like drivers have gone out except you wanna come and pick at our depot. You stay home all day and they'll still fail to deliver as promised. As I'm typing, parcel still at their depot. I never reviewed a company before but I can't afford to let this aberration pass. Worst company ever

Worst company ever! The tracking service is completely misleading. They have lost my laptop valued at £490. I feel very frustrated. I never normally write reviews but i had to this time. 😢😢😢

They are terrible. They do not deliver when arranged and lie about delivering at times when you know that you have been in all day. They say that they do not have any vans to use on some days....a prerequisite for a delivery company surely.

They said my parcel will be delivered between 13:17 to 14:17. I was waiting just outside of my door from 12:50 to 14:50 no one showed up. I called customer care they said driver is running little late. I swear to god I was in home whole day after that, but the status was "Sorry, we were unable to deliver your parcel as there was no one present to sign for the delivery; we left calling card number ******". And I found no card... I paid extra money for this worthless next day delivery service.., This is the second time I using DPD service, when first time I used they completely lost my Item worth of 20 pound (20 + 6 next day delivery). Now the item price is 44 and the next day delivery charge is 6,..... god hope I will get this item at least from depot when I go for pick up. How company like this can exist....?

Three people in the house, no background noise, waiting for parcel for which we had paid extra for next day delivery. DPD say they tried to deliver, no -one was in. This is the second time in a week, with the first parcel we gave the benefit of the doubt. Doorbell could not have been rung or we would have heard it. No card posted through door, but text conveniently sent afterwards.

Drivers claim to have tried to deliver, but they don't. They lie, causing considerable time wasted, especially if you've taken time off to wait at home for a deliver. Customer service is horrendous. Unprofessional, laughing hilariously to something that has happened at his location while dealing with my issue. Was curt and not helpful. Outrageous service all around.

What huge mistake trusting this company with the task of delivering my parcel. Paid to send a parcel through the company I work for who have an an account with Dpd. My teenage daughter after having received a new phone for Christmas was gifting her old iPhone to her grandparents. The parcel never arrived. Shows as being held (Approx 6/7 weeks now). After making contact numerous times and putting a claim, still no further forward. At every turn I have got nowhere, claim refused, parcel still missing/lost/held or possibly stolen from within the Dpd network. Have asked for the parcel to be returned, which they will not/cannot do. Have been told complaint has been escalated to the highest level and still there is nothing more they can or will do. Not an offer to compansate for the missing item ( Evan after providing proof of ownership, IME number ect ). Not Evan an offer to refund the cost of the service which hasn’t been delivered. I have effectively paid for the privilege of having my parcel, lost or stolen. There claim of handling your parcel with the best possible care, in my experience are not to be believed. Very poor from start to finish. True colours have been shown. Very difficult company to deal with when things go wrong. If this happens you will likely be left angry, frustrated and out of pocket.

Company claims to have a delivery window. I waited OUTSIDE my apartment building and watched the bridge go up for incoming boats and during this time DPD claims they attempted to deliver my parcel but I wasnt home even though I was sitting outside. Its been over 4 days with no resolution. Have no idea where my package is. Brexit is a lot easier to handle than the rubbish DPD puts customers through.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD What a disgusting experience... I book for them to pick up parcels from my house. They came and couldn`t pick up cause their Van was to full and promise to come back ... As I did not trust the driver, I immediately contacted DPD to have this nonsense sorted as it was not my mistake. They promise too that they have book them to come back, but guess what, no one showed up (klike I already bloody knew). Contacted them again and received 0 ( minus -0) help or service... I had to rebook fo the day after with no re-assurance plus , I have to print again all the labels (so I have to do my parcels all agian). They have just promese me that I will receive the confirmation email and have been wiating for hrs now and received nothing . You HAVE STOLEN A LOT OF MY MONEYS

Horrendous! I paid extra for a next day delivery, the part was needed urgently. I telephoned DPD a short while after placing the order to make sure a collection would be made, I was assured it would be collected that afternoon. I waited in all afternoon, 17:10 I tried to get in touch with the local depot, that was not possible. I waited on the telephone line for 50 minutes for customer service until I got through. The collection was not on the system although I was assured it was. The money had been taken. On the day of the missed collection of my parcel, I was told I would not be charged. I was told today that I will not be refunded. It cost us 40 x times the cost of the delivery in lost business. DO NOT USE THIS SHAMBOLIC COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told DPD would deliver my parcel yesterday between 11-12am. I took day off to sit in to wait for it and at 11:30am got a txt saying delivery man couldn’t deliver because no one was home. I have a recording camera at my front door and at no time did anybody knock on my door. I phoned up DPD Customer service ((£7.24 in phone calls to them) to be asked if I had a red door? I told them no my door is blue. The driver went to a red door and took a photo of it and said I wasn’t home. Said he had left a card at this random house (must of had the same address and postcode has mine????) and was told the delivery would be made again that day. It never showed up and I’m now going to get it delivered to collect store. So having paid £7.99 postage on my delivery and £7.24 phone calls it’s cost me £15.23 to go and pick up a parcel my self from town because a DPD delivery man couldn’t find my address. I will never order from the company I bought my parcel from ( I’ll leave them a review and explain why I will not be ordering from them again) and I will never order anything that DPD will be supposing to deliver because they can’t find my address. 1* because it doesn’t give option of minus stars.

Courier extremely rude. Company unreliable. Have stopped ordering from Amazon because they are guaranteed no to deliver. My son’s iPhone went astray. Last 4 orders from Amazon not received. Thankfully Amazon refund, but that’s not the pont. Appalling is the only polite way to describe these cowboys!!! We even contacted the managing director who promise to put things right. Big fail on that too.
