About Fantastic Services:

Fantastic Services Family started its journey back in 2009. It all began with a meeting of two like-minded individuals, company founders Rune Sovndahl and Anton Skarlatov. Rune needed a cleaner and Anton ran a cleaning business. Very quickly they both realised they shared a vision and could deliver cleaning services in a much better way, by working together.

With two laptops, a sofa to sit on and a shared mobile phone, a small operation was born. The aim was to build something simple but deliver the best service possible for both clients and cleaning crews. We call that philosophy 360-degree happiness.

From these humble beginnings, we've now grown into a multi-operational business offering a wide range of services to homeowners and commercial customers alike. We've continued to add more domestic services to enhance our portfolio and due to increased demand, these additional services have grown into their own separate brands.

I paid for a move out cleaning and the house was left in horrible conditions. First of all, when I called they tried to charge me something like 350£ for a move out cleaning fee. After some talking, they finally presented me their standard move out package which includes standard hoovering, bathroom and kitchen cleaning and all the bits. When I got back to check, I found out the house was left in horrible conditions. Don't call them, they won't clean your house. After sending them some images all they could offer was a 10£ online credit (which I have refused to take) as they said carpet was not included in the service. Well I think these hairs could be removed by a standard vacuum to be honest, and that was included in the service. Ridiculous.

I vacated a property and returned the keys a week ago, my landlord arranged a clean of the flat and told them to send the invoice directly to me which they happily did without checking with me (the flat was not cleaned when we moved it but we still cleaned it when we moved out). Unprofessional and borderline fraudulent what they have done. Avoid!!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY CAUSED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO MY PROPERTY AND STOLE CUSTOMER'S MONEY! 8 MONTHS ON, I AM STILL TRYING TO CHASE THEM FOR COMPENSATION FOR THE DAMAGE CAUSED, AS WELL AS FOR THE MONEY THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! Full details below: I had a handyman job carried out by Fantastic Services in August 2019 to re-fit new hinges to our internal doors. The job itself was cancelled and re-arranged multiple times. After painstakingly chasing and getting the job finally undertaken, the handymen actually caused substantial damage to the doors and frames, making as basic an error as using screws which were too long which penetrated through my door frames into the adjacent walls. Not only did this leave the doors not properly functional, it left visible damage to the wood and plaster of the frames/walls. To make matters worse, the job was quoted at just under £400, but they ended up charging an additional £500 which they charged against my credit card, without my permission or agreement (for "extra" hours worked, which they since have admitted that their workers unduly logged and claimed for these hours), notwithstanding the damage caused. After submitting a claim on their platform as per their dispute resolution procedure to try and recuperate my money (taken without my knowledge) and cost for repairs, I am disappointed and shocked to say that I am still trying to reach a resolution with Fantastic Services, 8 months on from the incident! On several occasions, they have ignored my (many) messages on their platform (and refused to take calls made to the customer services line), their latest period of silence being 2 months despite several chasers. They have actually admitted liability, and at one point agreed to pay back at least the money they charged my credit card without my approval. I now have no choice but to submit a claim in the small claims court against them - no doubt the interaction (if any) will continue to be as unpleasant as ever. What a corrupt, horrible company - in absolute shock at the way they have treated a customer when they are (in their own admission) in the wrong.

Worse company ever. Make you promises which they cant keep instead of helping you with your infestation they tell you other problems with your house!! They lie lie and lie! The service is awful, staff are rude and promise to call you back and they dont. I have silverfish in my house for the last 2 months and the treatments have NOT WORKED AT ALL the amount of them have been the same!! And they are not even dead. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY THEY WILL NOT RESOLVE YOUR ISSUE!!!!!!

I booked a full clean on a 3 bedroom flat. I asked them to bring their own equipment. They brought the bare minimum. The quality of the clean was appalling. I sent photographs of the with that was incomplete. They acknowledged my email but did not get in touch to remedy the situation. They obviously don’t care if they get bad reviews. So my advice is never use this company. There are plenty of reputable cleaning companies out there. Please don’t waste your company on this one.

Do not book an after builders clean with Fantastic Services! It has been a complete waste of money. I really am not one to complain and I feel bad as the two cleaners were lovely people. However, it is like they did not turn up. They only partially washed the windows inside, there is still dust everywhere (!) but it has just been smeared around with a mop as opposed to cleaned off. The bathroom floor wasnt touched and is still filthy. As is the kitchen work surfaces and cabinets. I was highly disappointed considering they were there for 3.5 hours (they were also booked in for 4!). I am now having to clean the whole flat again. The point if the builders clean is to help remove old plaster board and paint - none of that was done. I also immediately logged a complaint with Fantsdtc Services and they have still proceeded to take money which is completely unacceptable. It's also near to impossible to speak to an operator unless you want to book a new clean- they only care about making money. Not the after service. Do not use this service. Awful.

**Use mybuilder.com instead** Used Fantastic Services for business use to assist repair a reception desk and to repair holes in a plaster wall in one of our locations. The cost of the project was incredibly expensive - £659 we decided to proceed which was our first mistake. The job was 'completed' and after the visit it was discovered that the wood they used had nails coming out of it as they attached wooden boards to the reception desk and the nails came out the other side. This caused customers and staff to catch themselves on the sharp side of the nails which was very bad craftsmanship as clearly they didn't look for this. Further to this, the wood they used was plywood and started to peal away and anyone familiar with plywood knows that the wood to be painted needs to be sanded and coated in varnish for paint to catch. The plastering they did in the hole was okay but even though there was paint on site, was left unpainted/unfinished depending on how you wish to look at it. After highlighting this to Fantastic Services that we weren't happy with this so hadn't yet paid the remaining balance, I was then told that someone would come out to sand the table and apply the coat of varnish and we booked in another date. The person used then cancelled our date and I was contacted again by whom I presume was another representative of Fantastic Services who failed to look at my previous complaint and thought we needed something completely different. I then re-explained the situation between 2 people and one on the phone and I was further promised a visit for what was previously promised. We then got our visit from the contractor who refused to do the jobs promised by Fantastic Services (It should be noted they did pull the sharp nails out) but was very rude about the whole situation. This prompted further discussions with Fantastic Services and after 2/3 months of back and forth they finally agreed to honour the offers previously stated when the full payment has been received, I believed this to be fair so we made the full payment. Today we have received an email stating we are now going to be getting quoted for this work instead of honouring the previously agreed and stated agreement with Fantastic Services. (This has been going on since November) Complete nightmare and I would recommend anyone who has read this far to stay clear of them and use mybuilder.com instead which is a fantastic website I've used since for other jobs and their price have been fair, professional and great!

We have used Fantastic services on numerous occasions. They were never 100% great but they got the job done for a decent price. However, we last used them to pack our house for a move for the first time. They hired "kate's guy limited" and we are 100% sure they stole more than £300 cash in an envelope in clothes draw, which was our daughter's birthday money. As soon as they packed and left, we realised that we left the money in the draw. We went through everything 3 times, couldn't find the cash just the empty envelope. We rang Fantastic services, they rang the guys, they denied it, fantastic services took their side. We opened up a police investigation. The fact that fantastic services are just a market place for any service company to do the work, you might as well deal with companies directly. You will get a better service and full responsibility for everyone involved.

Fantastic Services starts out on a good premise, but completely lacks the business basics that would make this a useful service. Our experience was dreadful at best. This was to do with a number of factors: quality of cleaning, customer service (or, rather, lack of it), and lack of infrastructure. The quality of the service was mixed, depending on the cleaner at the apartment, but it was never up to the standards of our current cleaner, who is an independent professional (and that costs roughly the same). Importantly, Fantastic Services assigned us three cleaners in just a couple of months (without us requesting it, and without notice). Every single time the apartment keys had to be handed over to the cleaner by us (contrary to the misleading claim on the company website - see photo below). This process entailed us taking time off during working hours. When we could not hand over the keys, Fantastic Services tried to charge us for a service that never took place. What's worse is that when we complained about the above, and asked for a refund, we were only given the option of a credit towards a new service, which, at that point, we obviously did not want anymore. In short: good concept, terrible execution, even worse customer service.

Avoid the end of tenancy clean. They cancelled on us at the last minute, postponing until the next day, which was the day of the checkout. They then charged us more than agreed (this part I can get over), but they also cleaned it to a very poor standard, meaning we had to pay for cleaning again from our deposit. Total waste of money and lots of attitude from the staff. The whole thing was a very stressful, unpleasant experience.

The name is a joke, what’s the opposite of Fantastic as they are it. Their communication / IT is an all time low. They charge you before the job is done. Do not go near them. Dreadful lairs, no customer service and patronising. Don’t go there!

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. Two months ago they did a house move for me. Lied about the time it took (until I advised them I had cameras in the flat), they managed to get ‘lost’ and take nearly half an hour to drive one block up on the sane street (literally from #90 - #140 on the SAME STREET, 100 metres apart), 1.5 hours to improperly reassemble my bed which is 8 screws (he managed to only do 4 and had to come back another day after I complained because the bed nearly fell apart on first use). Worst of all, he somehow managed to also stain my mattress with his BLOOD. Then they said they’d send a cleaner who didn’t turn up on the appointed day with no communication and I wasted 4 hours waiting for nothing. Had to buy a new mattress and out nearly £500 and am still trying to get compensation from them two months later. Nightmare.

I wanted to clean a double bed mattress and the services was done in very low standard, the staines were not removed at all. When I complained what they wrote was: We are using top of the shelf detergents and the most powerful equipment. If we cannot clean it no one will. Best regards, Klay, Fantastic Services. I just called another company and they did a great job and the price was even cheaper. I would never recommend anyone to use this company again for cleaning services. Lana

What is fantastic about them? It’s certainly not their cleaner; nor their customer service; nor their cleaning supervisor. Just a pile of money grabbers, with no idea of the word “services” which, of course is in their title. Last cleaner didn’t like being told he hadn’t cleaned properly. Customer services told me that she’d had the same experience; manager told me that he disagreed with me and then refused to reply to my emails. I suppose that’s one way to deal with complaints. Just ignore and hope anything that bothers them goes away. I have to say; not really that much of a fantastic service.

I have asked the company to collect the keys for my investment property and returned it after they finished. As I could not be there to check their cleaning, I trust this will be completed to a professional level. I paid the invoice when it arrive with no question My agents later informed me that the flat is not cleaned properly and sent me pictures. I contacted this company and I was told that it has passed the 3 day grace period in the agreement. I was told that someone may be in the flat and it is dirty now. I told them that the only people in the flat is my estate agent and the flat is not being rented still. It is empty. My complain did not go anywhere and they offer no Service Recovery or Apology. I paid £167 for this cleaning? It’s a joke, isn’t it? I wish I could post the pictures here but I have these on Facebook to let their potential customers know it’s really appalling cleaning and worse customer service forbbing me off after they have received my payment. They had to tenacity to say that the people have been in the flat already so it’s dirty. Have they walked under the bed? Has anyone used the fridge which is not cleaned? My flat has no tenants yet so it’s not occupied! -The carpet is supposedly steam-cleaned. There are fluffs and clothes tag and bits of rubbish under the bed. -The windows have streaks of stains. -the fridge is dirty! -the cupboards are not wiped down - the drawers are not cleaned and wiped.

Please beware before booking cleaning services with this company. I was naive enough to book them even after I read some negative reviews. I don't really bother with writing negative reviews usually but I'm hoping to help someone before they get burned as well! The cleaning service they provided was sub-standard, multiple areas left untouched (no dusting in the bedroom and a very poor hoovering - leaves you thinking what they charge for when cleaning a bedroom as those are the only things to do there; didn't properly clean the sinks; didn't properly clean hallway) but that is the least of it. Cleaners were rude and unprofessional, to the point of making discriminatory remarks. The cherry top was when I wrote an email to complain about the issues, listing out clearly what the problems were, their "customer service" team responded with "I am sorry you wasted your time writing this email" - I am not joking, this is literally the way the email starts. They assumed I wanted a re-clean and wanted to make it very clear that they will not be providing that - I wouldn't let them anywhere near my property ever again, I simply voiced a complaint. If you want a professional service that corresponds to the money you pay, stay away from this company, they are atrocious. Never ever have I experienced such nasty customer service.

These are a bunch of laborers from outside UK with zero respect to the standards of practice in this country. They have practically no complaint Dept. a fake one that absolutely does not answer ANY of the questions and says we do not tell the customers of the results of their complaint!!! Their call centre does not have any sense of respect for their company or for the customers, they donot care what the instructions are, just repeat a fixed sentence like a 3 year old child. One of them told me regardless of your job happens or not the company must be his salary and his not worried... Both their call centre and their employees have significant problem understanding English. There is no reason why they are slightly cheaper.

Terribly unreliable for house cleaning. They cancelled our house cleaning 3 times after it was booked despite having a call with a manager as we complained about them being so unreliable (and they also had the cheek to book in cleaning slots we didn’t ask for) and just had a call Again saying our cleaning is cancelled due to no coverage in our area. (Guildford). Don’t bother!!!
