Uber has no customer service or support. App support is just auto generated answers. One of the worst companies I've dealt with.

Higher prices and customer service no longer refund when they know that an order is wrong. They are no longer putting customers first… if they ever did. It’s all for profit.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Miscommunication and Request for Compensation Dear Uber Support, I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the way my recent issue was handled. Yesterday, I contacted your support team regarding a lost phone that was left in an Uber vehicle. I was informed by your representative that the driver did not have my phone. However, based on the phone’s location, I personally tracked the driver down—using my own time, fuel, and energy—only to discover that the driver did indeed have the phone all along. This misinformation led to unnecessary stress, emotional upset, and a complete waste of my resources. This experience was not only deeply upsetting but also avoidable had I been given accurate information. I expected better from Uber's support team, especially in such a distressing situation. I would appreciate a formal apology and a reasonable reimbursement to cover the fuel and time lost in resolving an issue caused by the failure of your internal communication. I look forward to a prompt and fair resolution.

Outrageous scam and zero customer support I specifically requested a standard taxi via the Uber app for £17. During the ride, the amount was refunded back to my card, and once the trip ended, I was suddenly charged £37 – more than double the original fare. No warning, no explanation, nothing. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam. What’s worse: • The in-app Help always says “support not available at the moment”. • The phone number is no longer active. • Email to monitored. There is absolutely no way to speak to a real person, and no way to get help when something goes wrong. If I don’t receive a full refund immediately, I will report this to the relevant consumer protection authorities. Uber should be held accountable for this kind of behavior.

Reported an issue of order not being delivered. My delivery instructions were clear -"meet at door", I waited at my door with the door opened and no one arrived with my order but it was marked as delivered. I immediately reached out for support .According to uber support the driver followed the correct protocol and therefore I'm not eligible for a refund , even though no one showed up to deliver .I also always leave a tip for the driver while paying for my order .This is poor service and a disappointing approach as it's not my first time using uber eats and never had issues before this. That being said , I will not be using this service again and already let some of my peers know , and they will also not be using this service going forward. I will also let more people know about this experience so they can also avoid this issue

I've been trying to set up an Uber account. I did have one some time ago. I've listed everything they asked and nothing gets processed. I would not recommend this company. There is no customer service help available . I'm going to have to go to to a competitor.

I used Uber a lot in Vegas when the buses weren’t running last year. Every single driver demanded a big tip, even if you were going 5 minutes away. One driver got mad because all I gave him was a 5.00 tip. He literally took me 5 minutes away. I couldn’t walk to where I wanted to go because it was too hot. Next time in Vegas, I’ll take my chances with the heat. They were making a lot of money with the construction and no buses. Plain greed.

Today (12/06/2025) , driver cancelled the ride after making me wait for 10-15mins These instances are there mostly on daily basis . Kindly do something about it

I'm a Uber driver. This company has the worst customer service ethics in the world. They shutdown the phone lines allowing contact through their app only so if you have issues with the app there's no way to contact them. Plus help is limited to a menu of specific items. There's never a real person to address your problem, is just AI programs.

Truly is over priced. Anybody who can afford this should be able to own their own vehicle. Cost about 100 bucks to go 20 miles down the road and back to the grocery store.

I am a regular Uber user. However mu recent bookings are causing a lot of inconvenience. Especially on 11th June 2025 5.55am i booked an auto to railway station just 3 km from my place. I had a train at 6.25 am. Auto did not turn up. Then I booked a cab which was 2.5 km away and showed a wait of 6 min. Since it was not moving i tried calling the driver multiple times. Call was not picked up. I cancelled the trip at 6.10am and tried to find a local auto... By the time O reached train had left and I missed a very important professional commitment and had to incur a substantial loss. Wpuld like to know what was the issue.... Could not share this on app..... Uber should have an option to rate why a customer cancels a booked ride...

Non-existent "live" customer support. When trying to contact Uber Support, you are ONLY allowed to text with a BOT. This did not resolve my issue. I looked up UBER customer support's phone number. There are two options. Press "1 to schedule a ride." Press "2 for help with something else." Upon pressing 3, presumably to speak to someone, it states to go to their website, then Uber hangs up on you. Terrible. I can understand that most issues can be resolved using the bot, however some cannot. I am solely using Lyft now.

AI chat messages are confusing and never understand the situation. It is extremely frustrating when support takes several hours to over a day to get back to you, especially when your account is pending and you can’t make any orders until you’re issue is resolved.

DO NOT USE UBER!!! I had scheduled a pick up, never got picked up, but was charged for the ride. I don't know if some random person took my Uber ride or if the driver didn't actually pick someone up, but I've been trying to get my money back but they won't reimburse me. I have sent screenshots of my life 360 app showing that I was still waiting at my location at the same time that my driver was driving the route to where I was supposed to go, but they still won't reimburse me. So, I'm done using Uber and everyone else should too so no one else will get charged for a ride that they didn't take
