Don't ever take a contract with Telkom SOC. They have handed me over to a company called NuDebt after I did pay my account is in full. Now every day I'm being threatened by NuDebt to pay my account. Now NuDebt wants me to pay even more. The account is payed in full. They have the worst after sales, support.
Please at no circumstances take any contract with them. AND I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE ANY CONTRACT WITH THEM.

“The most unethical work practice I have ever seen is at the call center. The agents seem to lack basic understanding of English, are unhelpful, and often rude. They struggle to solve even simple issues, likely because they lack proper training for the tech world they're employed in by Telkom.”
“You guys are a scam, for 8 months they've been debiting on one account and then all of a sudden they have my other obsolete account details they debited on and they're excuse to block my account is ' the debit order bounced' and the agent said 'its not my fault that the account the we debited from is wrong' for 8 months I've been paying them with no missed payment/date. Later I make a manual EFT payment so they can unblock. They are still giving me problems. Never recommend Telkom to anyone”

“I’ve had a contract with Telkom over the last 24months & renewed itOctober or so last year. A month later I discovered they over debit my account claiming it heir debit bounce. My Bank reversed the debit since that was not true. Now again I discovered Telkom misuses a clause in their contract that if their debit goes unpaid they charge over R200 in penalty. My Bank FNB & I went through all 3 debits, there’s never been a point where my account didn’t have money.However over the last 3 months without me noticing because I don’t keep a watchful on my debits. I was wrongfully hanged penalties. Again FNB reversed my money. Telkom decides to cut me off their services. ..I think Telkom is pathetic & they now with so much competition getting desperate. I’ll never recommend this service provider to anyone. Instead I will spread my experience. Pat Msane”
“Try reporting a fault on Telkom mobile... When eventually you get through the line is so pathetic you can't be heard, and the agent tells you you seem to have a problem with network. You desperately agree. Yes! Yes! Please report it... oh, you want to port your number... no! No! Please fix my internet service.... Sorry I can't hear you. It's not even funny. “Telkomsa Telkom DISGUSTED with your Telkom Business service. I have spent 2 days trying to sort out my account PAID in FULL for all of my shops. Specifically 2 of my branches with your Sales department, you Cancellation department and yr accounts department 2 whole f_cking days in cresta and today via my own mobile +-5 hrs with calls emails and you still get it wronge! despite my email being very clear that only want to cancel ADSL service you have been charging me for 2.5 years that doesn’t work and one line but to keep my Edenvale main line open it has been used for 27 years, subsequently we haven’t been migrated on that line for 4 months. I then get an email response from cancellations saying they going to cancel all my lines in my Edenvale shop, despite my having ordered 2 new products migration of my number and LTE for Internet. I guess intelligence is passed down from the CEO to the rest of the bunch who work for Telkom Business. Disgusted with the whole freaking experience plus the theft of charging me for 2 services that notice was given on for 2.5 years. I have the read receipts WAKE UP, and send staff on communication courses for reading and writing and allocated a manager to yr customers rather than been forced to deal with up to 7 people today in different departments. A nightmare experience!”

They debit my account prior to the debit order date then suspended my number non-payment even after confirmation that payment reflects and I had to wait 5 to 24 hrs for the line to be reconnected.
What nonsense.”
“Such poor customer service. I have a fibre account with Telkom, they keep on suspending my service every month although they are collecting the debit order religiously every month without fail. They keep on deducting the incorrect amount from what is reflected on the statement and then suspend the account for non-payment. This is despite the fact that I called them last month and informed them that this was the case & they informed me that they adjusted the debit amount for the debit order but they have again deducted a lesser amount via debit order and then decided to suspend my service without prior warning”

His attitude u will swear he was resigning.

“The call centre guy lied when he called to convince me to take out a contract of 10GB data @ R99 per month. I asked him specifically what will the amount be for the 1st month, will there be any hidden costs,because I had this problem with Telkom before and he replied, " No hidden costs, you will only pay R99". When I received my 1st bill, it was more than r400 and they forced me to pay it. I would not recommend Telkom to anyone. They con people into taking out a contract. The public must be very very careful of them. They conned me twice, how stupid of me to believe this guy. My rating for them is ZERO”
“Third time I'm double billed in the same month for a future payment which has left my account in negative. Too numerous complaints to mention, horrible, terrible, disgusting service, consultants drops the phone without resolving the problem. Can't wait to end this contract, it's been a nightmare from the beginning”
“The worst company in the world , they debited me R20 000 by mistake then I disputed it moved to R33 000 Eventually they realized they made a mistake 😕 granted my dispute of R19 000 .... since then its like they making me pay for their mistake, mind you I'm in Sales and when they cut off my line I can't work ... I have no more strength in me to fight telkom ... you WIN ... I'll leave and let you run your Business in peace”
