“I used to work in Hatch and remember watching the chiles ripen in the sun…moving to northern VA, we missed the smell of roasting chiles that marked the end of summer. Our order from the Hatch Chile store with its fresh green chiles brought a lot of joy, and a host of delicious meals and memories to share with our east coast friends. They came well packaged and ready for roasting.”

“Received my hatch Chile and proceeded to roast it and couldn't wait to eat my first Chile wrapped tortilla and to my disappointment the Chile had no heat. Sweeter than a bell pepper. I e- mailed to let you know but my e-mail was never acknowledged. I won't be a repeat customer.”

“I had a box of Hatch chile shipped to friends in Washington, and they are loving them! They arrived fresh, and ready to roast. The delivery schedule was a bit confusing. I never received an email regarding the shipment date, and they were unavoidably delayed by some much-welcomed monsoon rains (in New Mexico, rain is good news!). I will order again next year!”

“I should forward the letters I have written to my large family and friends but I will be brief. The peppers are exquisite with a luscious, delightful back taste. “I am very disappointed in the service , I was shipped the wrong peppers, they are extremely hot , this is the second 10 lbs that I have purchased. The first order was mild with a few hot ones which I expected. The second order is extremely hot to the point its not enjoyable, I live in Louisiana and eat spicy food . Jeff”

“I grew up in New Mexico and even though I moved away, I don't want to be without green chili. I ordered 50lbs which arrived in two boxes and every chili was fresh to roast and use. The store employees are friendly and helpful. I got an email noticed when it was sent and it arrived on time. I wish the Hatch Green Chili Store a long and happy life because I want to get green chilis and other products from them for a long time.”

“I had no problems with buying (125.00 including shipping to Florida 2 day). I bought them on a Friday and as they said, they shipped them on a Tuesday. I got them Thursday in great shape. One chilli was starting to go but not far enough to prevent roasting. When you get apples and oranges from the store, they have to ship them not all the way ripe so they don't taste as good. These were picked while ripe, so 2 day shipping is a must. I am so glad to have you all in business, so I can still enjoy my chillies in Florida. Joe Wood. PS. Roasted and ready for the freezer. When we thaw them out, they turn from medium heat to medium hot. Perfecto!”

“Chili roasting day is one of my favorite days of the year. This batch of hatch Chiles is one of my top five ever. I think the trick was ordering early to get nice plump chilies, nothing dried out. They roasted well. And I ordered hot and for the first time I got a hot match. Nothing like having your lips on fire and tears stripping down your cheeks. Thank you Hatch Chile Store.”

“The chilis were delivered in a week and took 2 days as promised. The only problem, or issue, was that I ordered med heat and the chilis are no hotter than a bell pepper. As thIS is my first order, I am not sure if I received the incorrect batch, or the chilis are just really mild. Either way, I'm going to move it up a notch on the scoville chart next time.”

“My significant other is a Chili connoisseur, he says Hatch Green Chilies are the absolute best, but they are hard to come by here in Florida, a few places occasionally carry them, so it's great to just be able to go on the Hatch Green Chile website and order fresh from the source. Customer service is great, kept me abreast of when they were shipped, when they would arrive. Out of a 10lb box, only ONE was less than perfect, so we are over the moon with our purchase.”

“First-time customer, but definitely not the last! Got the 2' ristra (edible) and 5lbs frozen roasted (hot). Ristra was shipped without any issues and the first batch of chile sauce was sublime. The frozen shipment was stuck in transit and arrived completely thawed. Saul from HCS made it right and sent another shipment (arrived frozen and dang hot!) straight away with no additional charges. Thanks! That's customer service done the right way. -Edward”
