I didn't choose DHL as my delivery provider, the Company I purchased from(euro car parts) use them. All other couriers I use have good tracking systems in place where you can see where your driver is and how long until your package arrives. However, DHL have none of this technology, they state that your package will arrive by the end of the day (really helpful) I have wasted a days holiday waiting for my delivery, which is a replacement Car Battery. Not to mention missing the slot at my local Garage to have it fitted. Looks like I will waste another days holiday tomorrow as I won't have my Car to get to work. Terrible Courier service and backward information service provided.

The worst , most unreliable company to deal with. I paid for an express service 1-2 days, as it's urgent and my parcel hasn't been delivered 5 days later. Customer service lied to me that my parcel was hold by Heathrow's customs. I contacted them to find out that they never received it! Last time in my life I am using this company.

There was an issue on my order where two digits of the post code where wrong. Apparently this was enough to throw a delivery and logistics company into a state of confusion and something that could have easily been rectified if they just called the phone number on the order or gave customers a way of contacting them. The idea of providing customer service through social media is a great one until the company decides responding once and then ignoring more than ten messages constitutes as good customer service. When someone finally called me back, their only course of action was to blame other members of the DHL customer service team, offer a half-hearted apology and tell me that I was in the wrong. Where possible, I will elect not to use DHL again and I strongly advise anyone else to do the same unless they want to face a wall of impenetrable customer service fronting a company whose sole service is clearly flawed.

I just had A DHL driver deliver 2 large boxes to me and can't believe how rude and arrogant he was! As the 2 boxes were very large and he had a trolly,I asked if he could bring them in, another 2/3 feet with which he said, door delivery only. I was not asking him to bring it into the house, just to a covered area 2 feet away! I asked again and ignoring me, he carried on walking away. I went to ask him his name with which he said, 'what do you want?' I asked why he ignored me and he said, make a complaint if you want. To top it off, when I told him that his service was terrible, he gestured be to 'f*** off'! This kind of service with DHL?? What a let down! I will be contacting the company I purchased the items from as you let them down too!!

I called DHL to collect a letter today since online booking is not available for the customers who have not registered with them. The staff did asked many unnecessary questions and took me 11 minute to get book for the collecting, as the result the call cost me nearly £6 , I was charged by my mobile company 49p per minute with the number begin with 0844 ... The service I was received from the make stuff is very bad, my booking ref is 17168394, so hopefully the manager in charge should be able to trace down and listen to the phone recording.

Terrible, first was three days late in picking up the parcel. The seller stayed in to await the pickup but they never showed. Customer service told the seller they would deliver on Monday to compensate. The parcel was not delivered Monday, in fact the tracking information showed that it would be delivered today (Friday). On Wednesday it arrived at a delivery facility three hours drive away from here, it was there for two days before departing in the early hours of this morning. It has still not arrived at the local delivery depot. A milk float could travel faster!! Called customer service and was told that because today's delivery truck has already departed then it will not likely be with us today, but will be with us next week!! This is totally unacceptable, has caused us a lot of grief as well as cost us a lot of time and money!! Any way of getting compensation??

I ordared a washing machine via argos to be delivered on 10/6/19 I was given a 4 hour time slot between 11:30-15:30 at 16:30 I calledto chase delivery I was then told drivers whete fi ished for the day which couriers stop delivering at3:30 I paid ££60, delivery and the driver never even had the guts to call me some poor customer advisor from argos had to take the rage. Worst company ever would give - score of this was possible they also cost me a day's wage as had to take unpaid leave ading even more insult. Would not use this company again would rather carry the washing machine on back than use these clowns.

Waited in all day after a nightshift at work for an item you were supposed to deliver between 1-5-30pm (from Homebase) NO SLEEP!!. Now get a text message at 3.45 saying item on van but you not delivering as you have no time and to re organise the delivery. WASTED MY TIME and MY KITCHEN fitters TIME You don't answer calls don't reply to voicemal messages and now say you will deliver between 7am and god knows what hour on 19th June. You are a total disgrace and I hope homebase pulls your contract. I have emailed your MD and the MD of Homebase (whom I have also left a scathing review for) just WHO is compensating me for the lost time and aggro??

The main reason not to use DHL is their customer service number is 7p per minute. I think they intentionally screw up their parcels as they can make a fortune from these phone calls. I used DHL a few years ago to bring a package from china. Why have a tracking system that does not track? After that experience, i vouched never to use them again as first impressions gives you a good insight to performance. A family member had arranged a delivery to us in the UK from South africa. Had all the shipment and tracking info that is fine but due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to arrange to collect it from their depot the following day. I went to the designated depot to collect and it was showing as still on the van but it should have been left at the depot the previous day as arranged. Called customer services and eventually told, that it is showing on the system at the depot we picked. But the system at the depot said it was still in transit. The second call to customer services then said, it was still on the container. What container? This information was not corresponding to the system at the pick-up depot. If this was still on the container, then it has not been put out for delivery as per their delivery date and tracking system. Someone or something was lying. In total, the three phone calls to customer services has cost around £25. We still dont have the parcel and dont even know if it is at the correct depot or even in the uk. The saga continues, will update. Please do not use DHL.

The reputation of this company depends on its delivery drivers and its customer service , and one bad apple can ruin a customer’s experience. This has been the story in my case, having been given three dates for the delivery of my parcel, and being let down on all three occasions. Couldn’t care less attitude by customer service operator, the delivery driver telling downright lies about so called attempts to deliver. It was basically “my problem” even though it was they who had failed to provide an acceptable service. Would never again by anything from a company using DHL to deliver.

Truly the worst of worst. DHL are arrogant and need to be investigated judging by the terrible reviews on Trust Pilot and others. They lost my parcel and failed to even call me back. £450 value gone ! Avoid DHL at all costs.

Control account work on behalf of DHL as a debt collector.I had an invoice from DHL for £996.23 for the importation of two mobility tricycles including a levy for £361:23 which I did not understand what it was for.I thought it was an import tax but a mobility scooter is zero import tax so I thought I would query it with DHL.So I sent them an e mail and they said not to pay it while they looked into it.Nothing happened then until I got a demanding letter from DHL so in receipt of that I paid the difference between the £996 and the £361 expecting them to come back and ask why,so I got my original question/Query answered.DHL drew the money from my bank on the 17th April and I then received the debt collectors Controlaccount) demand on the 26th April for the full amount plus debt charges.I then sent a recorded letter (I have signatures for acceptance) to both DHL and Controlaccount outlining my invoice query and asking for an explanation.I have never received a reply to either letter just another demand from Control account for the balance now owing plus charges.I have tried to talk to controlaccount by e mail but this is impossible as they only want phone calls so you have no record of what transpires.I sent an e mail via their own website asking them to e mail me as I wanted a record and they replied thanking me for asking for a statement of what I owed.I think I have the right to query an invoice (After 45 years in business) if I want to and should have a reply so I can then agree to pay or dispute same. My wife has paid the amount behind my back to get rid of it as I was prepared to go to court with my paperwork, showing that nobody could be bothered to talk to me about an invoice query, just ignore any reasonable request and hound me into the ground. DHL and controlaccount in my own opinion are acting as dictators and bulldozing customers around.I am surprised that DHL want to get a bad reputation acting this way and using debt collectors that you cannot send an e mail to.Shame on you both.
