“StubHub never confirmed the seller had the tickets and I had to call them the day of the event. They ended up connecting me to the seller via WhatsApp. The seller had lied and he didn’t have any tickets he purchased them there outside the event from another individual. Tickets were in a different section and one seat was separate and not with the rest of the group. Customer service refused to fix anything. Do not go through StubHub!”
“First, stub hub promoted a concert that was never even happening. I purchased tickets for said concert, after visiting the performers actual website, we learned they weren't performing in our state that night but another state across the US. Stubhub told me anyone can sell tickets on their website and create a listing, so basically saying someone scammed me. Was able to receive a credit back for those. 2 weeks later, someone hacked my account and used that credit to purchase baseball tickets. Stubhub has zero security. If anyone can sell tickets for any thing they create, i suggest double checking other ticket sites first. Will never use stubhub again.”
“By far the worst customer service experience I ever had. In one purchase I spent >$20k on 50 tickets for clients. Received 40 of the 50 tickets. Called approximately 15 times over 3 days with ZERO resolution. Did NOT receive 1 return phone call despite being told my situation was being “escalated”. This was beyond unpleasant. My only solice would be if this review could deter 1 person from using this awful service.”
“I purchased tickets through StubHub for a game, and while they allowed entry, they turned out to be illegitimate. One of the seats was already occupied by a season ticket holder, and the section number on the tickets was incorrect. The stadium stewards quickly realized the issue and escorted us out, explaining that they do not allow tickets to be resold via StubHub—something I wish I had known before buying!
When I reached out to StubHub, they demanded proof that is nearly impossible to provide—like a video or a picture of the occupied seat or a written statement from the stewards. How exactly am I supposed to get this proof while being escorted out? I even provided evidence from the official stadium website showing the tickets were fake, yet StubHub still refused to help.
This experience was beyond frustrating, and getting zero support from StubHub. Their "FanProtect Guarantee" is a complete joke. Avoid StubHub at all costs unless you want to risk being scammed!”

“Purchased mezzanine seating tickets six weeks before concert. 24 hours prior to concert, we receive an email that the seller was “unable to locate the tickets” and has alternative tickets in the much cheaper general admission area. Right! The seller obviously sold our tickets at a higher price. 14 hour drive, gas, food, hotel costs for nothing! DO NOT purchase tickets through Stubhub. There is ZERO guarantee you will receive what you purchased.”
“I bought 7 tickets a couple of months before a comedy event. They were transferred into Ticketmaster, but the day before the event 3 of my tickets were transferred into someone else’s name. Ticketmaster said the tickets had a faulty barcode, and StubHub sold me bad tickets. They have NOT refunded my money. Huge scam.”

“Purchased three spring training games from Stubhub for last weekend. All three had troubles and refunds have been difficult to obtain. First was rained out and there policy is to provide a refund. Took a week of arguing with them to get the refund. Second game the tickets were never delivered and again refund was difficult. Third the tickets bought were not the seats as advertised and Stubhub refuses to provide any partial refund for the seats not being delivered as advertised. they seem to have a failed understanding of the law as it relates to false advertising.”
“Horrible. I will never use StubHub again. The worst possible place to purchase. They place fees low to allure you then BAM. They tack on $50 or MORE per ticket purchased! And it shows up so late that it’s easy to miss. Customer service can’t do anything. Beware!”
“The event tickets I received were not the same as were advertised. I contacted StubHub to try to fix their mistake, however they did nothing to fix their error, and only tried to get me to send the tickets back with an email stating I wouldn't even get a refund.
The tickets are emailed mere hours before the event, giving very little time for purchasers to fix any errors, should there be any.
Be careful making any purchases through StubHub as their sales practice is deceitful, and fraudulant.”

“I wanted to sell 4 Vikings tickets on Stubhub. I lyrics to list my tickets but the process was confusing and slow. I went to my account after several minutes and did not see them listed. So I tried to list them again. Then I realized they’d been listed twice. The exact same tickets. I went to cancel one listing but they had both been purchased, within 10 minutes of listing. They used the money got for one sale to cover the cost of the unfulfillable order. I requested a supervisor to call me, crickets. DO NOT use Stubhub. Horrible website. Horrible customer service. It almost seems like a scam.”
“I've used Stubhub exclusively for tickets for many years. Recently I had an issue with transferring tickets and found out that the Fanprotect Guarentee is FALSE! When I call or email, all I get is "We're very sorry for the inconvenience and we will escalate and get right back to you." I'm on my fourth try, still no one has gotten back and no refund. So, all is good while things run smooth...but when something goes wrong they totally ignore you. I suggest using another ticket service, I know I will from now on.”
