Be warned - 55" TV developed a fault within 7 weeks - After stating I had to go back to Manufacturer, they have now agreed to have a look at it. However I need to package and pay to return it, ensuring it doesn't get damaged on the 200 mile journey. So disappointed. Will never use again and will stick to High Street in future !!

i have ordered twice from then, i shouldn't of made it twice, the first time was bad enough, i should have learnt, dispatching my item before the date i asked for, meaning it was delivered early, i picked a date for a reason, as i would have to book it off work so on. so i then had to change my day of work, really messing me around! they didnt even offer to do anything about it, i asked for a refund of my postage for the mess around but nope, then i got ignored. they also dont respond in the 4hours they say they will, i had to email them multiple times before getting answers. they also kept cancelling my other item and putting back the date as they didn't actually have it in stock! i would not recommend and will never use them again!!!!!

Given one star because i couldnt give no stars.Total Nightmare from ordering to delivery,Where do i start to begin to explain, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Please believe this review, what a total disaster Appliances Direct are. We ordered an air con unit on the 10/01/2017 and delivery was expected on the 11/01/2017.The deliver was made in part due to delivery driver dropping and damaging one package. This is where the fun begins. We were told the replacement unit would be delivered the day after on the(12/01/2017).This did not happen. We spoke to Appliances Direct who told us they had no record of the missing/damaged item.Over the next few days we spoke to Appliances Direct on a number of occasions, and to say there customer service is a total joke is an understatement. The after sales team are rude and very unprofessional and just seem to want to get you off the phone as soon as possible. There is never a manager or supervisor available to speak to and when you are told one will call you back surprise surprise no one calls. 13 days after the original deliver and having been told and fobbed off that the delivery would be made on the 23/01/2017 we receive a call saying that an error had stopped the dispatch of the missing item. After 4 more phone calls and no progress we found the e-mail address of the MD Nick Glynne (nick@buyitdirect.co.uk)This seemed to have an effect and some action was taken. The unit was finally delivered after another phone call on the 23/01/2017 and a van was dispatched that day and delivery was made.PLEASE HEED MY WARNING CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS COMPANY IS IN THE DARK AGES.I will not use or would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.A total farce from start to finish.

Oredered a Samsung 65" TV £2300.00 in November 2016 we are now 19th January 2017 and i still havent got my TV. They sent me a delivery date which got changed 6 weeks later my TV turned up, took it out of the packaging to find the screen was broken so they took it back and said i would have my replacement with days, i thought great at least ill have it for christmas Ho ho no was given a date 3-02-17 i since recieved an email saying now i looking 21-02-17. This company is a joke and its about time the ombudsman did something about them. I've not seen so many compliants about one company.

Paid extra for specific day delivery, and took a day of work. The wrong item was delivered, and this resulted in hours of frustrating calls to the absolutely appalling customer services trying to get the mistake rectified. After repeated lies, rudeness and incompetence I ended up cancelling the order and it is still a nightmare even trying to get the money back. They ended up trying get to collect the item from the wrong address (after ANOTHER day off work) and I had to book it in for yet another day. No apologies, no attempt to make amends.

I ordered a washer/dryer online and they called me the same day to confirm the order and told me it would be there in 4 days and to sell me an insurance. Then 2 days before delivery, on a sunday, i got a call that they can't deliver until january and i ordered beginning of november. Very disapointed.

I decided the cheapest way to get a new mobile phone was to buy one independently of a service provider. So I did... from Appliances Direct - best price and one of the few who supply the colour I wanted. Ironically they offer a discount of £20 if you sign up to Which? on a month's trial. Ironic because they will now be my next port of call to complain! The phone arrived the day after ordering and I began using it the day after that. In less than one month the phone was defective and unusable. No problem, I thought, as the likes of John Lewis and similar REPUTABLE retailers would not hesitate in replacing the faulty product. Not Appliances Direct. The customer service rep told me that I had to contact Samsung to arrange a repair. So, to translate and sum up - "we've supplied you a faulty and unfit for purpose mobile phone that's gone wrong in less than 30 days. Arrange for it to be repaired yourself." Samsung were helpful and arranged a courier to collect my phone the next day quoting up to 5 days for the repair. After a week or do I called them and the part was not available until another week or two. I called after the expected repair date but was told that the part wasn't actually going to be in until another 3 weeks! I'm not going to bash Samsung, as the issue here is the lack of interest from Appliances Direct. I called them to tell them their 'no fuss' way of dealing with faults was inaccurate, that their default stance of referring the early fault to the manufacturer was not ensuring 'i am not without my device for too long' was failing. Initially I was told there was nothing they were willing to do and let's wait another couple of weeks to see if that part came in. I called in again to suggest that somebody got a grip of this issue and acknowledged they were failing in their customer service and support. Maybe that given my phone has now been gone for longer than I had it in the first place, God forbid... just replace the phone. A case was raised but then heard nothing. When I had to chase them again I was told that yes, we are going to replace the phone for you. You just need to pay to send it back to us for us to check the fault. I was told this process would take up to 3 working days. I was later told it takes until the 3rd day. Today, after working day number 6 I called in. A lot of sympathy and understanding from the Service rep who was going to speak to her boss to get things progressed. She is going to call back before 6pm today and it is now 17:35 and the clock is still ticking. The joke is that I just received an email from Appliances Direct saying my goods are booked in for repair and can take up to 28 days!! Now I am considering further action against them as I am beyond angry. Of course you may be lucky if you choose them. Just don't expect customer service if you actually need it. I don't usually listen to the few negative reviews when researching products or retailers. This time I should have noted the overwhelming evidence that Appliances Direct are rubbish. I am not a regular reviewer and only leave reviews for very good or very bad service or quality. Good luck...

we ordered and paid for a fridge freezer on line on 12th August we paid for next day delivery which was £30 because we were going away to wales on the 14th so wanted it before we went,we were then told after ring to see what time it would be there that it wouldn't be delivered until Monday 15th so said they would refund £10 of the delivery charge, this has not happened. The Fridge freezer was delivered on the afternoon of the 18th, we had it fitted on Friday 19th, left it to stand for 4 hours as advised but all it did was make a loud humming noise and didn't get cold at all. We rang on Monday 22nd to inform them that it wasn't working and they told us to ring the manufacturer who would arrange for an engineer to come out and inspect it, the earliest time they could give us for the engineer was 25th August, the engineer came out and said there was no gas in it and it wasn't any good so to ring and tell them at Appliances direct which I did, they said they would have to wait until they had an uplift number before they could do anything, so at this point we are 2 weeks from the original purchase date still with no confirmation of what is to happen next, after ringing several times eventually they agreed to my demand for a refund as i was not satisfied with the way the whole thing had been handled, they said we could have a refund after they collect the fridge freezer which was supposed to be today 30th August, after ringing to find out what time they expected to arrive i was told they wouldn't now be coming until Thursday 1st September and cant give me any idea of what time it will be, i think they are from memory the worst company i have ever bought anything from without a doubt -

I order two £700 worth kitchen appliances. I chose the date of delivery on their website - the 15th. They have changed it twice - to 19th and then to 25th. They didn't want to send at least one item by itself sooner. Customer service wasn't helpful at all!
