I ordered a frost free under counter fridge and freezer and was under the impression I'd got what I asked for until frost appeared in the freezer Phoned them and was told they'd need to listen to my recording of when I ordered it Got a phone call the next day and was told there was no mention of me asking for a frost free freezer I argued that I did and that I had a quote I'd got before my kitchen was finished and it was for a frost free freezers why would I order a manual defrost when I'd gave a perfect working one away But oh god you try and get through to them that they messed up my order then good luck I've no receipts with order numbers on them which they were saying I quoted! Hah I sent them the otiginal quote five days ago and they're just ignoring me so I'm now left to sell a freezer I never asked for to get the one I want and it won't be off appliances direct Absolutely terrible company who have treated me appallingly Stay away from them!

Absolute joke of a company. Ordered from them via Tesco direct. Item failed within days of arrival. Tesco not really interested saying I have to deal with appliances dire etc, but they ignore emails. Pushed Tesco for action, and got some movement, but although item has been returned, I've still to get my money back. I would bever buy anything fromappliances direct again, and I'm very wary of using Tesco direct again. Awful service, they don't even deserve one star.

What a joke. Stay away from this company. Bought Washer and dryer. Took them 3 1/2 weeks to deliver (after having to hound them). Used washer 2 times and now broken. Said it would be replaced 3-5 days. Now being told 7-10 days.

Delivery - extractor for hob left 5 doors away. Weight was 18 kg, too heavy for me to move, too large to get in the boot of a car and drive with the boot shut. Very difficult to deal with and retrieve, quite a distance so couldn't just carry it and too heavy to do so. Apparently they can leave with neighbours even if you don't authorise it. A little common sense required here considering the size and weight of the product!

I purchased an air conditioning unit which short circuited and is now jammed on. I complained and was told that I had obviously broken it and I would have to pay to have it repaired. Ended up filing a charge back against them. They also appropriated Debenhams Logo in order to falsely portray themselves as a reputable company. Refused to discuss it via their message system which is listed as their preferred method. Presumably so there was no written record of their lies.

Collection date changed even after confirmation we will have to see if what they say is true. No interest in solving the problem. Would not use them again.

VERY POOR DELIVERY SERVICE: The company delivered me the wrong fridge and when I called them to have the right one, they offered me two options: 1)keeping the wrong one and a refund of £40 or 2)Changing the fridge and paid on my expense the lifting operation (twice!!!). Make a long story short I paid two handyman £140 extra for lifting up and bringing down the wrong and the correct fridge model. In addition to that the company didn't respect the delivery slots, (almost 3hours late!!!unbelivable). A very poor service. Disappointed. Nora

I've not had this poor a service since the early days of the internet. Product was delivered with leaking refrigerant. There was a total disregard for health and safety from the company. I've had to spend over £50 in calls to get them to pick up the item after I had to wait in another morning for this. They have refused to offer a refund on the next day delivery or for the costs of the phone calls and I've still not had any contact since returning the item. I have been chasing this up with calls and e-messages on their system but I haven't managed to get through. I would recommend paying more money for better, more reliable customer service elsewhere.

Absolute Cowboys. I ordered a washer/dryer and a dishwasher from Appliances Direct. I had a text the day before the delivery was due with a time slot. But the time slot came and went with no sign of the delivery. I tracked the order using the link they had sent me which stated that my delivery was still on the way. I waited the rest of the day but still no delivery. When I called Appliances Direct to enquire where my delivery was they said my delivery had been cancelled due to a driver having called in sick. I can't believe no one contacted me to inform me and why it was still showing on the tracking information as out for delivery. A second delivery date was set and once again I waited in for it to arrive but once again no sign of my delivery.... I called Appliances Direct to be told my delivery had once again be cancelled. And once again no one had bothered to inform me of this. I had to call them when it didn't arrive. A third date for delivery was arranged. I retrieved a text the morning my appliances were due to arrive saying the delivery had been cancelled. When I called Appliances Direct they said they couldn't locate my appliances and the dishwasher was now out of stock!! I have had no choice but to cancel the order and get a refund. My kitchen fitter finishes next week and I won't be able to get a dishwasher in time for him to fit it. I am appalled at the total lack of communication and customer care. How can three separate deliveries be cancelled and on two of the occasions I was not even made aware the delivery was not coming. By the end it was clear excuses were being made and my appliances were never going to be delivered. I'm saddened and disappointed.

Totally disgraceful company. They send electrical appliances with no instructions for installation wrapped in bubble wrap (not sure that is even legal), they refuse to respond to emails and they have a very, very strange returns policy where you have to provide evidence that the rubbish they have sent out is truly totally ungradeable rubbish (which it is). If you don't send photos they close your returns query after 48 hours!! I will be sending my unusable appliance direct to their mail address and then they can look forward to a small claim against them if they do not refund me. I urge all of their customers to do the same.

Over two weeks late delivery, damaged washing machine, no customer service and refuse price match promise. They claim to give you the trade price, funny how argos was £50 cheaper, my own fault i guess. Never again, AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Worst experience ever. Despite patio door wide open. Delivery guys were not ready to deliver it into the house, left the fridge freezer in the garage. No more shopping from appliance direct. Don't be fool looking at the low price, we ended up paying more as we had to pay for getting it moved into the house.

Awful company. Can't deliver when they say and the customer service advisor lied to me telling me she was a manager when she wasn't. Don't use them.

Let down badly! Tv should have arrived today,paid extra for Sat. Couldn't deliver till Monday am in hospital!! Refund will take several days, PayPal takes seconds. I can't buy a tv till refunded! What a mess and clearly not reliable. I have a contract that they could not fulfil Buyers beware!

Faulty dryfryer, but try getting through to ask for any help! Several days of going onto their website for customer service at different times of day and always the same response: Appliances Direct We're sorry for the delay. All our chat agents are currently busy. We've received your message and an agent will be with you shortly. .....and that's how it stays for hours.

I would site them as a fraudulent company. The attitude to when my air conditioner went faulty was. 'well you obviously broke it yourself so we'll only fix it if you pay for it' They refused to converse via their message system and would only speak over the phone. presumably so there is no written record of their activities when they're taken to court by their customers, sorry not customer victims. NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM

Ordered a A1 kitchen Taylor and Moore sink, It was confirmed to me that the sink was undamaged 100% and it had been checked all over. Sink arrived payed for next day delivery , received no message of my 1 hour delivery slot , so had to stop in all day. Opened the box and took the sink out , a corner was bent in and cut, yes 1.2mm steel , cut, contacted Appliances direct , that took ages, would not send a replacement out until they had the so called damaged sink back , also said it was impossible for the sink have been damaged before despatch, I did say the damaged corner was covered by protection and it would not be possible to have been damaged by delivery , It cost me to have a day off for delivery , AD not bothered about this cost , I asked for a SAT delivery for a new sink, got told they dont deliver on SATURDAYS, web page says they do, They did offer a small refund if I kept the sink customer service agent .more concerned in denying damage done before despatch , but to me damage was dangerous , not bothered about customer satisfaction , so i refused .I did ask for compensation considering it was their mistake , I had to take the damaged item to a collection point ,and that we are without a sink no response. The only response was , we will offer a refund after we have received the damaged item, and that the item was ONLY damaged by delivery driver . My first buying experience from Appliances direct and by far the worst customer service

Ordered numerous appliances all delivered I didn't open the packaging as we were waiting for a new kitchen to be fitted. Our fitter opened all appliances over 30 days after purchase and started to install when it came to the last bit an AEG cooker hood he advised that all the filters were missing. Contacted appliance direct who said nothing they could do as it was over 30 days.NEED I SAY MORE

Bought robotic vacuum cleaner with mop attachment, hole in water cylinder, after two months of trying to get sorted with tesco direct as this company totally ignored me, sent back whole appliance, no communication whatsoever from this company, appliance now apparently damaged on return. Never again, over 10 weeks of utter frustration, worst customer service ever, do not buy from them
