Re Justins comments - he is assuming that they have the quality of Managment to train their staff - having talked to some of the 'managment' I doubt that they could train anyone. They are rude, confrontational unhelpful and ignorant. They seem to have no respect for their customers so what chance training anyone else?? This is a failed totally unreliable company with failed systems and desperate dishonest and disrespectful practices. They deserve to go bust ...but they won't be doing it with my parcels !!!

Do DPD ever sack anyone for being inefficient, dishonest and rude to customers..it seems they more likely promote them as this seems to be the companies main practice. Absolute pathetic company and totally unreliable - and could they care less ??? Go elsewhere DPD are just not worth the hassle, frustration and cost for an awefull 'service'...Suppliers take note also as many comments on here state that you will not be used if you employ DPD to 'deliver'. Be aware of their awefull reputation and dont let using them damage yours !!

Next Working Day delivery not delivered even though I was in the house. Driver didn't use doorbell, swears he knocked but no card was put through the door. I immediately got onto DPD (which is a painful 30 minute minimum hold due to "high call volumes") I was promised delivery after 3pm (as was the vendor) and got a call from the driver to say that he would deliver at 5:30pm. At 5:10pm I rang to check progress, the driver told me he wasn't going to deliver my parcel because he was crazy busy. My parcel was booked into the depot at 5:40pm, which given the depot is at least 20 minutes drive from my house means that the driver never intended to deliver my package. He has accused me of threatening him (I did not) and my parcel is now being held hostage at the depot, despite repeated rescheduled deliveries. I fear for the state of the package if and when it ever does arrive. So my Friday order, is still not delivered and it is now Wednesday. I feel victimised by the depot because I had the temerity to complain about the driver not delivering my parcel as promised. I will now be checking to see what courier firm vendors use and will avoid any using DPD.

I'm currently involved in the building of a secondary school so it's not hard to miss. I ordered some items from a third party and they transferred the delivery request to DPD. DPD then left £168.02 worth of items next to a white shed/inside according to them which is no where next to the site I'm working on. Not the first time I've personally have had issues with this courier but I wouldn't recommend the hassle to anyone. Hermes and FedEX are a lot better and efficient.

Used to send a parcel. Presently on the third attempt at dropping off without any success. Unable to easily speak with anyone to resolve and even when I did receive a telephone call, the information was wrong. First issue- local drop off states they do not take paperless parcels second issue - parcel too big for particular shop (within the terms of DPD) third issue- unable to scan 2d barcode. Having spent hours trying to resolve and driving to various shops unnecessarily, I may as well have delivered the parcel myself!

DPD has the worst ever Customer Services. I would sack all of it's managment and go back to the basics of Customer Care. A good place to start is to value the customer as without them you have no company and no job. Tell them the truth. Do not insult them or their intelligence. Show accountability. Give your correct name when asked (as you have the customers name/details). Genuinely try and resolve the issues to identify the problems and hopefully try and improve on your broken system. Offer a ringback to report back 'progress'. Have enough staff to accomodate an absolute maximum hold of 5 minutes to get through and finally to show a commitment to the change put the head of the inbercile whose idea it is to finally greet the customer (after a redicuous long wait of usually well over 30 minutes) with the most condescending and pathetic lecture about respect and manners and not being abbusive....such hypocrisy considering the way that DPD treats its customers with absolutely no respect and usually is rude and confrontational with them!! There again - you have had many chances to try and resolve this and it would seem that there is no desire or capability to do so...so the best option for customers would be to steer well clear of using DPD or any supplier that uses its 'service' IF YOU ARE NEW TO DPD I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU AVOID USING THEM>>>IF YOU ARE NOT THEN IT IS EXTREMELY LIKELY THAT YOU KNOW THESE PROBLEMS ALL TO WELL AND I WOULD URGE YOU TO LOOK AT THE OTHER MORE EFFICIECT (AND CHEAPER) OPTIONS !

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY! I used this service trying to get my belongings from the UK to Australia. At no point during the quote nor purchasing of their service did they offer guidance as to what was/wasn't allowed into Australia. I packed my box, paid the fee and arranged the pickup a few days before my flight. Pick up went smoothly, I took my flight a days later. Two weeks later, I received a message from an old roommate telling me my box had turned up back in my old address in the UK. I contacted the company, spoke to 4 different people, each of them telling g me to contact a different department. I eventually get a hold of someone who told me, "oh yes, it was delivered back to the sending address, due to restricted items". Personal items are deemed restricted, it took them 2 weeks to take my parcel from my house to the depot where it says for two weeks , then got redelivered back where it started, with no correspondence from them at all. Nothing. I contacted them. They kept my money. I then whilst overseas had to organise a new company, they went and got the package and told me it was too damaged and that they would have to repack it. They sent me photos, In the two weeks it sat in their depot, the box had been completely torn open, and retappwd back together. It looks like a car ran over it and a five year old tried to fix. This box contains fragile, personal and expensive items all of which I told this company about. I'm now paying so much more trying to fix this problem, I'm not sure if all of my items are broken, if some were stolen. This is literally the Worst company and worst service I have ever experienced. AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!!

How much longer can this terrible company get away with such terrible management and diabolical 'service"? They are an absolute disgrace. Totally unreliable, dishonest and rude. When things often go wrong their whole 'customer care' seems set up to infuriate their customers with lies and insults. Be warned -AVOID DPD - They should not be in business with their total disregard for their customers and the service that has been trusted to them.

Do not use this company!!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!! DESPICABLE!!!!! If i could give them 0 stars i would!!!! I sent a parcel 7/8/2018 and the parcel was left on the door step, unwrapped, opened and things had been stolen from the package! I paid £28.50 for this to be delivered SAFELY and i paid for the insurance and this is how it arrived so here we go... I contacted their 'customer service' if that's what you want to call it and i was informed i needed to make a claim and provide evidence of the incident which i had no problem doing at all. I provided them with everything they needed and they still didn't bother to even look at my claim. I have over 10 chat transcripts where i was informed that the claim was being processed etc and nothing was done! I was then finally sent an email asking for an invoice for the goods sent which i had no problems doing but that was it.... silence began again! I spoke to a chap who told me they are still awaiting documents (they weren't) and that they sent an email to me prior to our conversation which was a load of nonsense as he had JUST sent me the email as we spoke! I had to chase them up, AGAIN and AGAIN! Conveniently after i pressured them after all the false promises, unhelpful advisers and the lack of care and commitment to their customer they finally decided to tell me that they where awaiting the courier's response as my receiver had given permission for it to be left on the door step considering they do not have her mobile number it's impossible that this could be the case! I contacted scroke@dpd.co.uk who are supposed to be there to help when all else fails and i received one email from 'Leigh' asking for my reference number on the 18/09/2019 as they promise to be prompt in replying... I am still waiting! So i chased them again 19/09/2018 and was PROMISED by 'Asha' they would escalate my case to management and escalate the courier's comments and ask for proof that this parcel had been authorised to be left on the door step and told me to wait 48 hours and if i did not hear anything to come back and they would sort my claim which brings me to today 23/09/2018 and i got the pleasure of speaking to the awful 'Emma' Who does not seem to have a concept of how to treat customer's!!!! I explained to her what i was promised my claim to be processed, provided her with proof of the conversation i had with Asha and she proceeded to claim that there was no proof of this and that the claim had not been escalated to the Courier nor Management!!!! She then reassures me but CAN NOT promise that if the courier does not get back to them that the claim would be looked into being processed and then continued to inform me there's 'nothing to be done' and on more than one occasion inform me that she will NOT be looking to process my claim today!!!! They will blame you, look for tiny reasons to not pay you what you are owed!!!! COWBOYS!!!!! This company is beyond a joke from start to finish. They have no customer care at all. They disbelieve their customers even when they have ample proof and they make constant fake promises and i am SICK TO DEATH of having to chase them around. PLEASE AVOID. THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER TEN FOLD!!!!!!!!!!! SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!!!!!!

Most of the drivers are OK and can deliver, the rest of the business is frankly utterly hopeless. (Luckily) Had a missed delivery card left, as I'm aware of lots of people not having the not even leaving the card and only finding out of an attempted delivery when contacting the seller to ask where the parcel is. Web site is useless, freezes often, gives no useful option, such as deliver to another address. Local DPD depot (Middleton) seems to be staffed by complete moron, who seems to think telling people about his new iphone is impressive, moans about been busy. No ability to think outside the box, or any interest in resolving issues. Really stupid revolving door from / to customer car park that have to use a buzzer to get through that does not seem to be answered. Much easier to simply walk around the fence

How much business does DPD loose through these bad reviews and do they even care? Let's hear from you DPD as you seem to take no responsibility for your appalling service and customer care attitude? Let's hear about your unreliable service? Let's hear about your absolutely useless and insulting customer care? Let's hear about why you employ useless and rude managers? Let's hear why anyone should use you? Let's hear who in the company takes any responsibility? Let's hear why your CEO leaves lectures on customer behaviour when DPDs is so bad? Lets hear why she is still employed by this failing company? Let's hear how DPDs standards have plummeted over the last years? Let's here about why you treat your customers with such contempt? Let's hear what the future is for your company? Let's hear how much longer you can survive when you literally do not deliver? Is there anyone accountable that can reply to this?

DPD you are a joke. A parcel should be delievered in Monday. Next day (after waiting 30 minutes to someone pick a phone up) you said that a parcel is still at depot but damaged. Okay I said I want to pick my parcel up from Oldubry now, but you said it can be collected tommorow only. Great, you set a collection up at 3pm day after (delivery was'nt possiable anymore because of risk of spillage). Okay then, next day when I was on my way for a parcel I have a call from bloody DPD that collection is not possiable anymore because MY PARCEL IS LOST. The worst company ever.

Couldn't find my house. Again. It's only been here since the early 1800s and is easy to find, but apparently way too much trouble to get here if you work for DPD. As for trying to get hold of them...forget it.

Waited for delivery; guy did not turn up. Lied and said he knocked and left a card. No card and no knock. Took a picture of my block from the ground floor at the perimeter of the grounds.
