Check prices online then they decide to phone up and say you have to pay for item that hasnt been purchased just because it was in basket joke of a company dknt buy from them

Terrible from start to finish for us. Customer service is very bad for this day and age. Item came damaged,(not their fault, delivery service) arranged to send back, then said not got the same in stock. So offered a replacement of newer model and a £30 goodwill voucher. We agreed to this and nothing else was sent. Recieved email of a £30 voucher but still no aircon unit. Rang up and was told the £30 was for us keeping the broken unit! We havent even got a unit as they took it back. Asked for a full refund as this has take over 10 days. Tried to get away with not refunding the £14.99 postage! Waiting on refund to get back to my bank as of now. This has been the worst online shopping experience we have ever had. Ridiculously slow response online via email. Takes far too long to get through on phone. Appalled. I would NOT recommend based on our experience.

2 weeks later and still waiting for first delivery via DX. Customer service the poorest I have come across for some time. Not willing to contact their delivery company, leaving everything up to customer. Go elsewhere with your order. They have the cheek to charge for delivery!!

Appalling courier, appalling phone system, appalling customer service. Bought lots of appliances, courier was useless and didn't deliver, spent hours over multiple days trying to get through, finally got a refund agreed, refunded wrong amount. Now can't get through (shock) to get correct refund. In the meantime, ordered from AO who delivered the items before we even got a call back from Appliances Direct. Avoid at all costs.

Such a shame that this company take advantage of people who are really struggling. I called looking for a freezer, not because I wanted to stock pile but genuinely needed one as my old one packed in. When I asked why they were double what they usually are I was told it was because of the demand just now. Really !!!!!!!!! I hope people remember this when things go back to normal and avoid this rip off company.

Do yourself a favour and avoid, avoid, avoid this company. So much pain from the outset. The fact that they cherrypick reviews says it all. Buy anywhere else!

Agree with the price ramping. They conned me into ordering a freezer with a delivery time of a couple of days, then said it would be a month after taking the money, went to look for something else and noticed they had put the price of my freezer up by quite a bit only that morning. Clearly ripping people off to make extra profit from Covid 19. Disgusting outfit, advise to avoid and out them on social media for what they are doing.

They supplied a freezer at short notice after ours had died. Pity they used the Covid crisis to hugely ramp up the price. They took advantage of a public emergency. Shame on them.

Really disappointed with the misleading delivery service. Paid for a Saturday delivery and unwrapping service. Was told 10 mins before delivery that my appliance, a fridge freezer would be left on my doorstep and not delivered to my kitchen which was very close by. The delivery drivers did not even have a knife or scissors to unwrap the packaging. Absolute disgrace. Will never use this company again!

phoned having noticed they have a price match promise. Gave them the same item in Costco which was 17% cheaper and they said they wouldn't price match. Look elsewhere for your kit, it seems they overprice their appliances by quite a bit. It was a Swann CCTV kit with 16 cameras if anyone wants to check this out

Poor service ordered towl rail. Bath and vanity unit, shower actually received toilet bowl and no towl rail also no feet on bath which was steel and not as advertised moulded acrylic absolute shambles. Would steer clear in the future and advise others to do the same

bought a freezer from the company, was to be delivered on Tuesday and they said it was out of stock for 3 weeks, than offered the same freezer in another color for double the price for earlier delivery. taking advantage of customers currently, will not be using the company again,

Do NOT buy a cooker from appliances direct if you want it to work - our cooker arrived on time ''looked good'' then didn't work both ovens dysfunctional and light not working in one of them - had a very tiresome prolonged effort to get them to take away the faulty cooker and give us our moneys back - so we can get a cooker that actually does what it says on the tin and that's cook. we have still not got this resolved and are having to involve trading standards and legal assistance.

Ordered a freezer £520. Received email from Appliances Direct 2days later stating it has left our warehouse. 10 mins later 2nd email stated delivery 23/3 then 10mins later 3rd email this time from manufacturer Hotpoint stating they will deliver when in stock!! 2hrs later 4th email from Hotpoint stating I need to contact them but not before 16th April to arrange a delivery slot. Money has left my bank and now expected to wait another 4 weeks with no guarantee I will get my paid for freezer.

Well to be honest i called today, 1st taking 10 minutes to get through to Kitchen department only to find out they had to transper me to that dept. i asked the person who answered is that the Kitchen appliance dept, answer "it can be" so not a good start for advise, i am kitting out Washing machine, double oven, Tumbledryer, dish washer, induction hob, cooker hood, do i speak with you for any deal or do i go through my kitchen supplier to get trade prices, answer we only do retail on the phone or online, he then followed up by saying phew we are getting phone calls every minute, i said if you are to busy for me to ask questions before i decide to travel or buy then you don't want my business, which will be around £3,500, he said you can shop around then call back to price match & hung up, how do i as a potential customer (by the way i have purchased 2 laptops in the past) feel confident that i will get 1. the best advise 2. the best deal 3. best customer service, someone tell me? PS

I ordered an Air Purifier from AppliancesDirect which arrived faulty, after I tried to submit a return the customer service was very unhelpful and sent extremely late replies, I tried to arrange for a collection to return the item and they never sent me a label for this, I have asked 2 more times and both times they have not sent the label. I am having to repeatedly ask and reschedule, no luck so far. I tried calling only to be told they will call me back, I have not received a callback and I feel like I am being ignored.

ordered a microwave for delivery but it never turned up. almost impossible to get through to their customer services, left on hold, always being told there is am 11 minute wait, then put on a call back that never comes. after 3 days managed to speak to them and they said it had been delivered and signed for - turned out that was someone else's order. It did eventually arrive after a week but I spent several hours trying to get through to them.

I just had the worst experience with sales team ever. Guy name Faizan (didn't give me his surname) lies for the first question I ask him and then was very rude after I point his lies!!! I had 3 items in the basket worth 1000 pounds! Good for eo.com who now will get my 1000 pounds. Shame
