Worst experience I have had ordering anything online. They can't organise delivery of products and then refuse/inability to help once they have made countless errors. Customer service is shocking and the amount of time spent trying to sort out issues is not worth the apparent value of products they are selling. Would advise not to use and go with a company that actually values their customers.

Avoid at all costs. I would not recommend appliance direct to anyone. I have spent over 2 hours on the phone to them over 3 or 4 phone calls and have been on hold for most of that time and the problem is still not sorted. They have never returned calls when they said they would and I have now been told to call back on Monday. I placed an order on my personal card but got it delivered to my works address as no one would be in at home. For some reason they put my billing address down as my works address on the invoice even though they must have used my personal address to take the payment out of my personal account. I wanted to exchange £558 worth of the £800 odd order as I ordered them incorrectly. I wanted replacement goods at a similar value so it wasn't going to just be a return, the goods I was returning were unopened completely. The customer service team then told me because It was a commercial billing address (even though it was in fact a personal card so a personal address) it was classed as a commercial order and there would be a 25% restocking fee and an admin charge. Obviously I was not happy with this and asked for the phone call to be listened to confirm I actually provided a personal address. After 3 days they eventually listened to the call and waved the restocking and admin fee and accepted the return. In the meantime I had to place the order for the replacement items so had already received them before the return on the other items had been accepted. This meant that when the delivery team delivered the replacement items I was unable to let them take the items that were being returned with them so I had to pay for postage of these, which was £97. I was now at a stage where I needed the invoice to be amended so it was domestic and not commercial so I made another phone call, on hold for a long period of time and told they would look into it. I didn't hear from them for over a week so I called back and the operator said there are no notes on the file about this? I am then told the address cant be changed?? So they have accepted the order was domestic, but cant change the invoice to correspond with this? They have provided incorrect documents and refuse to change them? So all in all I have wasted hours on the phone, never received a call back when promised, and I'm down £97 in postage which could have been avoided. Between personal orders for myself and orders that I have placed through my work we have spent a large sum at appliance direct and this is how they treat loyal customers. They are wanting us to open a trade account through work but after this experience we will never use them or there sister companies again.

Sent an faulty expensive item without wrapping it in twice to big box. Just a bare unit thrown in the box LOL. No answer to phone or message. A scam company AVOID AVOID AVOID!

What a difference 5 years makes to a business! Unfortunately this has gone in the wrong direction, which is not a good sign. Exceptional service and delivery 5 years ago, new appliance ordered recently and one month after the funds were taken from my account, I still have no idea where the item is. And neither do the customer services team. Order has now been cancelled and placed with a competitor. I can predict that Appliances Direct won't be in operation for too long with this low level of customer service.

Would not recommend appliances direct to anyone. Been a nightmare from start to finish! Ordered two appliances for a specific date. The day before was told it would only be one then the people who turned up didn’t have the tools to plumb it in. Had to wait a further 5 days to get both delivered on different deliveries! Was refunded delivery and installation charge but then had an awful phone bill due to how many times I had to contact them for their muck ups! I would rather have paid more money to get a guaranteed delivery from a competitor! I won’t recommend them to anyone I know

Delivery fiasco. Paid for next day delivery, then got a text saying they didn't have time to deliver it; was asked to rebook and was offered a delivery in 3 days' time; accepted this, then was woken early next morning by the crew wanting to do the delivery! Complained and got refund of next day delivery charge.

ElectriQ CD20LE - Do not buy this absolute rubbish. Mine was stored safely in its box between uses... all TWO of them (just to dry a bit of laundry)! Yes, the third use and it was dead. ElectriQ use the excuse of 'we are the manufacturer and are devoid of any responsibility, so please go away and contact the retailer'. Retailer, Appliances Direct are shockingly bad and due to the expired warranty, they also do not want to know. I could understand if I'd used and abused it, but really??? 2 times I used it~~ TWO!!! I will never buy from ELECTRIQ or APPLIANCES DIRECT again and if this review helps you to make the same decision, at least I'll have some satisfaction! These companies need to look at how Amazon treat their customers and learn from it!!

I ordered a fridge/freezer. Was given a delivery date- arranged builder etc and work only to be cancelled on the day. Another date and cancelled again. Finally delivered 2 wks later. 2 x men delivered and were pleasant enough.

Appuling service ordered a cooker and fridge freezer only turned up with oven s day later than said and took 4 attempts to deliver the fridge wasting our time we have to work and arrange time off for delivery’s customer service was atrocious they didn’t know what they were talking about or even try to explain why our delivery never turned up 4 times never again will I order from these save yourself a hold load of aggro and don’t get anything from these guys

I had placed an order for a case on Tuesday 9th July, I had to call a week later to see why I hadn't received the item, only to be told that their system hadn't received the order yet upon checking their paypal they had received the money. If I had not contacted them I would still not have received the case. There was no urgency trying to resolve this, especially considering that I had mentioned that Amazon had since dropped the price on their item, they made an offer to upgrade me to next day delivery, which is the minimum that should've been done as this was two days late. I decided to have my money refunded as I could purchase from Amazon where I knew I would receive the goods when stated.

Paid for dishwasher to be delivered and the old one to be recycled. When it was delivered they said they had no room in the van to take the old one away. They agreed to come back after their deliveries for that day with an empty van to collect. At 4pm I called customer services who said they couldn't pick up that day and I had to book the following week but STILL pay the recycling fee. Customer service didn't understand the issue and when asked to speak with a manager noone had the guts to speak with me and said a manager would call me back next week. Now I am stuck with an unplumbed broken dishwasher in my kitchen and told I still have to pay to have collected a week later for something that isn't my fault. I had to call them back to see what was going on after waiting in all day. Clearly don't understand the issue that people do work and take days off for delivery.NO CUSTOMER SERVICE shown here at all.

This company do not recognise the Purchase of Goods act. Bought a Smeg fridge freezer through this company, they refused to deal with the faulty unit, they referred me to Smeg under the warranty. Under the Purchase of goods act they should deal with a faulty new item. It took six months for a qualified engineer to visit and immediately confirmed the unit was faulty and must be replaced. Nightmare.

Paid £250 for a fridge freezer, was faulty, called to let them know and they charged us £10 for the call. Will not be using again and will be warning everyone away

Appliances Direct / BuyitDirect.co.uk Don’t buy from this company they will send you damaged goods. Their products are of poor quality and they will mess you about with the warranty. They will not refund you your money for any faulty goods and their customer services are poor. Their mangers are even bigger jokers. This company needs to be closed down. I am taking my claim to the county court and i have already contacted the trading standards. I’ve been chasing them for 3 months now They are crooks

Item was incorrectly described. I have been trying to return it and be refunded. My emails are ignored. I have had no cooking facilities for over a week and no money to rectify it. It's a disgraceful situation. I regret the transaction greatly.

Bought a phone and paid for next day after waiting all day arrived and screen was unresponsive totally ! After a very long wait on phone was told if I send it back they will assess the issue within 5 days and get in touch with a decision on a phone I expected to work !!! Really forget the replacement I will go elsewhere

Your fine if you order a product online and it works but if you need customer service or them to honour something they won't. I asked 2 simple questions prior to buying a product. Took a week for a response and by then the price had increased. They refused to do anything on this point. Then they offered me a graded item of the model up, I accept and then 4 days later they tell me it's out of stock and they can't do it. I ask what can they do and they say nothing just order on the website. 2 weeks wasted and absolutely no closer to getting an aircon even though I had agreed a sale they didn't provide item. Scum bags.
