I just had the worst experience with sales team ever. Guy name Faizan (didn't give me his surname) lies for the first question I ask him and then was very rude after I point his lies!!! I had 3 items in the basket worth 1000 pounds! Good for eo.com who now will get my 1000 pounds. Shame

Paid £39.99 for specified delivery day so I could take time off work to have items delivered. Had to call on day of delivery as was supposed to be provided with delivery time but no details sent. Spoke to customer service who didn't know what the issue was, but confirmed that nothing was being delivered. Very poor service, would not recommend.

Poor service for returns. The company barred my mobile number because they knew I was going to call almost straight away to return it. I admit I should’ve kept the box; however on first instinct of keeping the item; I asked them to take it away as there was no way of storing a 65” tv box in our home. They then refuse to send it back when I request a return. All around poor service from a company that generally offer good deals. They also claim to have “high volume of calls and to call back in 11 minutes” (every call made) which had to be made through the landline since being barred (for whatever reason that was). They should’ve jumped to help when I told them I needed to return; instead I’m running around after them. Not happy.

APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE, CHERRY PICKING REVIEWS. Every chance this will get removed before many people read it as apparently the reviews for this company are cherry picked. Machine was damaged in transit. I have been battling for 5 days for a replacement, and been made to feel like I've been done a favour for it to finally be replaced. Flat out refusal to reimburse my launderette costs. Misleading and inaccurate information from each customer service person I spoke with and refusal to put me through to managers. A nice apology by email but not backed up with appropriate actions. Quite simply the worst appliance company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Do not buy from this company. Product delivered next day but was damaged. This is where the issues started, dismal customer service . First offered money off to accept damage but when I pointed out that I did not know if any internal damage had occurred I was still offered the money off and told not to use the item ? All I wanted was a new item, still waiting. TERRIBLE

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY. I would never order an item online again from Appliances Direct. I have always purchased in store with no issues, but their protocol on returns with online orders is both unfair and slow. I purchased a microwave classed as A2 (Minor cosmetic damage) and advised it had a small dent on the door, when the package arrived the dent was actually not minor and on the corner of the door so the dent was actually kinked. I subsequently processed a return and advised the item was classed as unwanted, therefore returns postage was to be borne by me (the consumer), I deemed this item miss-sold and their interpretation of minor damage was different to mine. Their returns advise was tracked delivery so the cost was £23.36, I argued this to no avail, plus they deducted their delivered charge of £9.99 on the original refund. I even offered to personally drop the goods off at their East Midlands depot but this suggestion was rejected and Appliances Direct insisted on me returning goods to their Elland depot, I felt my offer to return item was reasonable. After many e-mails they have refused to refund the £23.36 return delivery charge and the microwave is now advertised on their website for £114.97 which I purchased for £144.06 + £ 9.99 delivery! Maybe this reduced price is a reflection of Appliances Directs interpretation of Minor cosmetic damage!

Terrible terrible service. My washing machine was damaged, late and left without fitting it. This company have caused me nothing but frustration. They have let me down three times, lied to me and refused point blank to take responsibility for their mistakes. The first day they ran over time so I had to reschedule for a few days later, despite having booked a next day delivery. They delivered a washing machine but did not take the old one or plumb in the new one, despite the fact that I had paid for these services. When I rang to complain I was told that the earliest slot they could schedule to do the work was four days later. I booked that. Two days later they called to say there was no such booking and that they wouldn't carry out the work. My tenants are inconvenienced and annoyed and I've had to take money off their rent. They have a next day service available. They have access to plumbers. They simply refused to make these available to me. They have wasted my time, caused me stress and cost me money. I have had to pay for a plumber to fit it and still have to arrange to have the old one taken away.

Ordered a tumble drier on 20th January. Was told delivery by 25th Jan. It has still not arrived. Told day after day it had been dispatched for delivery. They were lying. Last mention, out for delivery on 30th Jan. Still received nothing. Be wary, they Guild the Lily to appease you when you complain. Poor service and customer service.

Kettle arrived not the matching toaster, this was after a month of constant date changes. Their customer service tel number is shocking 30 minute wait!! No help. They said they’ll have to get someone to call us back but would take up to 4 hours!! But I said, you advised they close in an hour, only to be told to incoming calls only (this is a Saturday) Appliances Direct are useless, no one takes ownership and they are not helpful. I will be cancelling the order and I’ll never use them again. Be careful they cherry pick these reviews to publish too, that was the warning on the Reevoo site!!!

Would not deal with this company again ordered dishwasher on 5th Jan which was delivered promptly but several thing were missing after phone calls and several e-mails they have still not resolved the problems. I have now been told they have ordered parts and will receive them in 3 to 5 days. It is now 22nd January and still cannot use this dishwasher DO YOU THINK THIS IS ACCEPTABLE

Terrible company! They seem great if all goes to plan from the reviews, but once there’s a problem or you need a refund don’t hold your breath, seen the same on other review pages for them and I am no exception, still waiting months later with no item and no refund for a 50” tv and when trying to contact they put you on hold and then put the phone down, or when using call back let it ring once and put it down so you have to start over. Even when coming on this website it states they’re removing the reviews they don’t like...definitely not surprised and expect this one removed soon also ha. Joke of a company AVOID!

Where do I start.. Ordered a dish washer on a Saturday for next day delivery (paid the extra as needed it fast) rang for update on Monday only to be told it would be Tuesday. After much ringing and talking in the end to the couriers I discovered that it was NEVER going to be delivered on Monday as ordered over weekend aren’t picked until Monday aft. (Borderline trade descriptions act issues there) Tuesday came and went.. nothing. Appliances direct had processed it as 48 hr delivery! Overall, Not impressed. The apathy from their customer services dept was.. uninspiring. To give them their dues, I did get refund on the excess shipping, but if I wanted it on a Wednesday I would have gone elsewhere. Dishwasher works wonderfully though. PP

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY We ordered a cooker from Appliance Direct and because of an elderly family member being very ill with dementia and then cancer which sadly resulted in his death, we did not install our kitchen and the cooker remained in full package and unopened in the dining room. When our electrician finally attempted to install the cooker, he was unable to, as he remarked that the cooker had been dented from the back. He also said the whole chassis had been moved out of place, resulting in 2cm gap between front and back of the cooker, and because of this, the knobs on the cooker could not turn. I then contacted by Appliance Direct and sent pictures and they agreed to refund us £90 or £100 off the cost of a new cooker. Even though this was a substantial loss, we agreed as we did appreciate that it was 11 months since we had received the cooker. A week later Appliance Direct texted me and advised that they would not be able to refund the £90.00 as previously advised. When I queried why, they did not reply. We are now stuck with a cooker that is unusable through no fault of our own. I have now seen other reviews with damaged products received. I would not recommend this company as they not trustworthy. We have contacted the manufacture who sent an engineer and has also agreed that the cooker must have been damaged in transit.

Worst company I have purchased from ever. Tried to sort out a dehumidifier that was delivered the same day. Wouldn't even talk about the faults!!!!! said to go direct to the manufacturer. Tried again an hour or so later. Tried to explain what was wrong and just got cut off. Do not touch then at your own peril. Each time I rang I was told the wait time to speak to a complaints/fault operator would be over 30 minutes. That says it all.

The company does not care about the customer at all. I have not receive a notification call before the delivery. The driver called me once he left my place and refused to wait 5 min for my arrival. Moreover, the re-delivery was rescheduled 6 days later. The customer service is absolutely rubbish and they are not there to help you out. Contacting them with any inquiry is simply useless exercise and waste of your time. They are happy to take your money though... Stay away from this incompetent business and shop elsewhere.

Purchased a new integrated oven with fitting and disposal of the old to be delivered and installed before XMAS. Company constantly lied and we have no new oven for XMAS. Avoid this company who lies and make sure you pay on credit card to get your money back.

A shambolic company. Further to my earlier review I have now received a refund from AD but this EXCLUDES the delivery charge of £9.99. I have also received my latest telephone bill which includes 6 calls to their customer services at a total cost of £17.36. In summary it is not worth dealing with this company.. I have now ordered a replacement Hotpoint tumble dryer from Argos - this has now arrived direct from the factory and do you know it works !!
