Your fine if you order a product online and it works but if you need customer service or them to honour something they won't. I asked 2 simple questions prior to buying a product. Took a week for a response and by then the price had increased. They refused to do anything on this point. Then they offered me a graded item of the model up, I accept and then 4 days later they tell me it's out of stock and they can't do it. I ask what can they do and they say nothing just order on the website. 2 weeks wasted and absolutely no closer to getting an aircon even though I had agreed a sale they didn't provide item. Scum bags.

Absolute charlatans. I ordered a mobile phone that was advertised as being able to use 2 SIMs at once. When I got it, I realised only one SIM could be used on 4G at any one time. I asked to return the item as it was not as described. Appliances Direct said they classed it as "unwanted" so I had to pay both the outgoing and incoming delivery charges. Now substantially out of pocket because they did not describe the phone properly on their website. I think this company is fine if you know exactly in advance what product you want, but given it is distance buying, buyer beware because they will NOT refund delivery costs. I've seen others complain that bigger items like fridges had to be returned at their own cost so were £40-50 out of pocket. Ridiculous!!!

Having ordered several items in the past from Appliances Direct I ordered a heated towel rail and a fridge from them. They were due to arrive on Monday 8 June, and were to be delivered by 2 different couriers. The towel rail arrived as planned. The fridge did not. All we had from Appliances Direct was an email saying that it was due to arrive on 9 June, but no messages from the courier. There was a "tracking number" on the email from Appliance Direct, but when I input it into the courier's system, I was told that it was invalid. I tried to call Appliances Direct, but it was after 6pm and there was no reply. I called again first thing on 9 June and explained the position. The lady in Customer Services tried the tracking number that I had been given and she too found that it was invalid. She said that she would enquire with the courier and call me back. By the end of the day I had not received a call so I called again and happened to speak to the same lady. She told me that the instruction from A.D. to the courier contained a "corrupted file" therefore the courier was unable to access any information about my order. I suggested that A.D. just give the courier the relevant information again, but apparently this was not possible. The lady told me that she would await further news from the courier and that if nothing was received by the end of 11th June, she would cancel the order and re-order my fridge. By 4.55pm on 10th June I had not received any further communication from A.D. so I called them again. I explained the problem to another lady and told her that I wished to cancel the order and re-order. She agreed, placed the order and arranged for the fridge to be delivered on 11th June, which it duly was. So, eventually, my fridge was delivered, 4 days late. However, I constantly had to chase A.D. to get this result. I appreciate that their courier appears to be the one at fault, but A.D. did not help by providing an invalid tracking number in the first place. Maybe they should think twice about using the same courier in the future - and I will certainly think twice about using Appliances Direct in the future too.

Appalling customer service so far and we haven't even had our air-con unit fitted yet!! Delivered it within a few days then keep telling us that they will contact us with a fitting date on such-and-such a date. We have had several of these lies told to us now and no-one has actually been in touch to arrange fitting. In the meantime the number that is on the website to contact them is an 0871 number which is premium rate and, according to trading standards, cannot be used by law for after-sales service enquiries. What a dreadful company, lying to customers and getting money from them when they try to get the service they have paid for.

My microwave arrived with a broken Glass turntable. Got in touch with Damaged Goods department and spoke to 'Jill' Sending a replacement inside of 24 hours. Great I thought. A parcel arrived and as it was so small I thought it was my Shorts and socks I ordered. NO it was a 6 in turntable smashed to pieces, NO not in transit, as It was packed as a Smashed Item=- Spoke to a 'EMILY' Rude ! who doubted the Veracity of what I was saying so I asked for a Return Label to send this back. The Packing or warehouse staff must have had a Good Old Laugh sending out a Bundle of Glass to a old man. I asked for the name of the CEO of the Company and they disconnected me. A company with the Worst record on 'Revoo' with a warning about this company 25% failure rate !! One Month with a microwave that does not work. I have the Broken Glass package here and will some how get it to Either Trading standards ot A Nick Glynne the managing Director. This is true and can be verified. Barry In Ilford

38301344 - I ordered a Condenser Dryer on Sunday 23rd June and delivery was scheduled Wednesday 26th June, I took the day off work and no show ! Today 27th June I receive a text from couriers saying Appliance Direct had logistics problem and delivery would be Wednesday 4th July 2019. I called and they happily and calmly offered to cancel my order !!! Personally I would not recommend this company and suggest support local businesses in your town.

Worst online shopping experience I have ever had. One would assume that an online retailer should know the basics of selling online, including picking a courier that can deliver the item to the customer . Not the case here. They managed to pick not once, but twice, a courier who won't deliver the item because apparently it's too heavy. So here's the deal with Appliances Direct: you order and pay for an appliance, which is never delivered (even if you pay for express delivery)! STAY AWAY if you want to actually receive the item you ordered.

Ordered and paid for a fan which the site said was in stock. When the delivery date arrived I was emailed saying they were out of stock. I finally received the item 4 weeks after the delivery date.

We brought a oven from yourself approx March 18, then back in November 18 then oven broke, (which took weeks to fix) now 8 months late it’s broke again exactly the same issue as before. Now to be told it’s out of warranty, and we will get charged to fix it, I have been speaking with customer services who may I add have been understanding, but the faults departments is shocking rude in professional won’t take my calls or even your customer services calls. We reported this problem on Monday 17th June and it’s now the 20th June. No one from the contact department has got back to us, all we keep getting is the warranties department are looking into it. I was thought customer service was important but doesn’t look like it to your company!!!!!!!!!

This was the worse experience from start to finish. We ordered a few different appliances form here and they didn't come when expected the company never let us know we had to call up and find out. They also told us we couldn't pay for installation as they had to arrange this through another company because the delivery guys couldn't do this. However 3 days after our expected delivery date the delivery guys turned up and told me they would have been happy to install but hadn't been instructed to do so. Therefore I had to source another contractor to come out and fit the appliances. I will not be ordering again from this company and I suggest nobody else wastes there time.

Paid fir a morning delivery slot for our hob. Checked after it failed to arrive to be told they didn’t know when it would arrive but would call back. No call back. Now 7pm. I’ve checked on the tracking link to the courier company which says they’ve not received our parcel. So what’s the real story?still no hob, still no explanation. Very poor.

What a shambles this company is. They take your money quickly enough, promise delivery and fail big time. Promised saturday delivery, On saturday I get a message saying it's gone to the wrong depot. Wasted days trying to contact them and eventually they say they can't deliver till thursday, what a bunch of amateurs, use them at your peril.

How have these guys got a rating like this? I ordered a product that was priced incorrectly. It should have been over 200 quid but was priced at 137. It seemed like a good deal rather than an obvious mistake. After putting the order through i checked delivery status which was a long way off due to stock. I noticed on the order that the sku code was for a lower model that was priced the same as what i paid for the higher model. I called several times to check this and was told it was just an invoicing mistake. I noticed my item was already in stock on their website (but at over 200 quid) so asked for them to send mine. You guessed it, this is when they told me they made a pricing mistake and could only send me the lower spec model. So after hours of calling, checking, waiting on hold, after many promises, even after telling them it was probably a pricing issue they decide it was indeed a pricing issue. Their solution? 20 quid off the more expensive one (still more expensive than other outlets) or a full refund? So all that time was for nothing? They should have to honor their prices. I am self employed and if i muck up someones invoice i can't go knocking on their door for more money, it's my fault and i lose out. What have AD lost? One bad review? The person who made the pricing error has still been paid, everyone has been paid, AD have lost nothing and here i am done several hours and with no product. I should have had a personal apology from the person who made the mistake and they should have honored the deal. Utterly untrustworthy if you get any problems. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

Item was carelessly handled by delivery firm and dropped on front drive. Extended warranty details still not supplied though paid for 10 days after invoice. 2 messages to firm still awaiting reply. Wouldn’t rush to use this company again.

Took a days holiday for a delivery, Part delivered my order. Emailed customer services and they did not reply. I called customer service and was left on hold for 15 minutes and was promised a call back with in four hours. 6 hours later I had to call again to be hold for another 10 minutes. A very sullen young man said I would get a call back. They left a message later in the day on my mobile. No apology and as a matter of fact that the delivery should be in 2 days time but they could not give a timeslot and I am expected to be in all day waiting for it. Wake up Appliance direct, most people work for a living and have not got the luxury of being able to sit at home all day. Very disappointing and shocking level of service. 2 weeks since I placed this order

Faulty product. Awful customer service. Over two weeks since fault reported, many phone calls made and no return organised still. Promised call backs from managers and nothing. Avoid this company, they take no responsibility for the sales they make instead pass it all off to the 'suppliers'.

They sent me the wrong oven and made me pay for delivery to get the right one sent out. Also wouldnt let me return an unwanted appliance that cost £380. Im a regular customer that fits kitchens every week and wont be using this company again.

Do not use this company, they fail to deliver items due to damage (happened twice), send emails to say an item will be replaced which is not honoured and send emails to advise of not existant delivery dates. To add insult to injury everytime I call them I am paying for the call. I ordered a hob and an oven. The hob was broken on delivery and was rejected. I received an email stating I would be issued with a replacement and the following day received an email with the new delivery date. On the promised day of delivery I called in the afternoon to get some idea of the delivery time only to be told that there was no replacement item and therefore no delivery. On the day the oven was supposed to be delivered I received a text advising that things had not gone according to plan and the item would not be delivered today. I called later that day and was told that that item had also been damaged and there was no replacement for it, so I would need to order a different item. In the meantime I have taken time off work to await deliveries and am without an oven and hob as my new kitchen has had to be fitted without these items.
