Can't deliver to the right address. Paid extra for a delivery on a specified day. Four days later, no signs of my dishwasher and it has apparently been delivered. Impossible to get through to them on the phone in a timely manner and refusing to give me my money back. About as much use as a chocolate fire guard. Avoid!

If you have complained about anything they then set their automatic switchboard to detect your phone number and keep you at the back of any phone queue if you try to contact them a second time. I was in a phone queue for two hours before I gave up, which of course, is exactly what they want. And you WONT find an email address. That would make it far too easy for you to complain. Their ratings are calculated and based on the number of people who can actually get through to make a complaint. Heed my warning.

Absolutely awful customer services. Once you have complained about anything they set their switchboard to detect your phone number then keep you at the back of the telephone queue. I was on the phone for two hours before I gave up, which of course, is exactly what they want. And you wont be able to find an email address. They don't want you to have an email address otherwise you might be able to contact them. Their ratings are calculated and based on the number of complainants that can actually get through. Heed my warning.

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY THEN THINK AGAIN. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE ITEM WAS SMASHED TO PIECES AND NOW THEY DONT WANT TO TALK. I AM ATTEMPTING TO GET MY MONEY BACK via BARCLAYCARD. DONT BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS.

COOKER ARRIVED LOOKING LIKE IT HAD BEEN DROPPED FROM AN AREOPLANE. APPLIANCES DIRECT HAVE A STRATEGY OF IGNORING A COMPLAINTANT HOPING THAT THEY WILL JUST GO AWAY. MY STRONG ADVICE TO ANYONE WOULD BE TO CHECK OUT THEIR OFFICES, 114 Church Road, Chichester, PO20 8PS WHICH ARE REGISTERED AT COMPANIES HOUSE, GO ON GOOGLE STREET VIEW, ITS A PRIVATE HOUSE, AN UNLIKELY OIFFICE FOR A 100 MILLION POUND COMPANY. IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED FROM APPLIANCE DIRECT THEN YOUVE PROBABLY BEEN CONNED.

Ordered a new cooker for one of my rental properties & the cooker arrived without any connectors. Several phone calls later I get through to customer service only to be told the cooker is sold without connectors. My gas engineer who has over 40 years experience says he’s never seen a cooker sold without connectors. Raised a complaint & was promised someone would get back to me within 24 hours which was a big fat lie. Due to poor customer experience I will advise treading carefully in dealing with this company

Placed an order on 8th June. Told delivery would be 26th. Email day before saying delayed to 3rd July. Email 29th June now saying 14th July. Tried phoning Customer services during day hours. Automated reply saying offices shut?

Absolutely disgusting service, delivery driver did not even have the item I had purchased on his truck! (BID TRANSPORT, was a really hot day) then must wait up to 5 working days to get a refund while they asses the item they did not even deliver.

Utterly useless. Ok when they want your money but if anything goes wrong they don’t want to know. I’ve had a dishwasher in my kitchen for 2 weeks that’s doesn’t work. No one will call me back. Do not buy from them !!!!

Shoddy shoddy company customer service appalling promise they will call you back and don’t. Ordered a fridge freezer was delivered a hob as was fraudulently advertised on amazon. Didn’t even have the fridge in stock. Didn’t come for days to collect it, then denied Collecting and refused money back. Spent a total of 5 hours calling and waiting on the horrendous hold music to get it resolved. Don’t believe anything they say. Take photos of everything and demand proof by email of all conversations!!!AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!

Paid for next day delivery no sign it’s now Wednesday no contact. absolutely do not buy of these people also arrow who do the delivery’s you can’t get in touch with I’ve had trouble with them before not very professional at all

DEFINITELY AVOID .. Would not order from these people again. They give false information on their website regarding availability of products, take your money and then tell you the delivery is delayed and product unavailable despite being told otherwise. When I complained the member of customer services rudely talked over me!

I will never order off these people again, I ordered and paid for a fridge for my granddaughters 12th birthday which was today, I paid weekd ago , endless phone calls cannot get through, emails , its disgusting then to be told they tried to deliver today which is clearly a lie as I am shielding and in the house 24hrs , absolute joke , no one has attempted to ring me . Never order off them again

Delivery was two days later than booked - with no information on the tracking website and no support from Appliances Direct. Despite paying for recycling the courier refused to uplift the old fridge. Three hour wait to arrange a refund - still sitting in the telephone queue. AVOID!

AVOID AT ALL COST! Collection date changed twice on the actual date of collection afternoon! Wasted van hire, electrician having to do a return visit, having to move to a house with no kitchen due to their incompetence. They didn't even bother to call to advice of the change - they sent an email!!! It then costs 13p/min to call them and they keep you on the line for 20mins before you can talk to anyone. Customer service is beyond useless. Asked for them to reimburse cost of wasted van hire and return visit of electrician to connect appliances, and deliver goods free of charge due to all the inconvenience caused by them. They offered a £20 discount and told me as a company they do not cover costs of their f@#k ups! Needless to say we cancelled the entire order.

Absolutely disgusting company to buy from brought a new frost feee fridge freezer for 8 months later the fridge does not go cold and the freezer called company to have an engineer tell me the fan has frozen up on a frost free freezer this should not happen I lost £100 worth of food with 3 children to feed in a global COVID 19 pandemic I have so far had to go two week without a working fridge freezer and £100 loss of food this company has dealt with this so poorly I am now going to trading standards and a solicitor DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY SALE FAULTY GOODS
