We bought the Samsung UN55KS8500 Curved 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2016 Model) on Dec 27, 2016. Less than three years later the TV began turning off and on constantly and not working. I contact Samsung and scheduled a service tech to come look at TV, costing me $140. Two techs arrived with a new board ($300 Est. part) and told me that the TV also needed to a new panel ($700 part). he instructed me to call Samsung in order to request a one time "out of warranty repair". I did that and received the out of warranty repair only after spending several hours on the phone with Samsung case management team. The repair was scheduled for Nov 10, 2020. A week later I received a text from Julian with Samsung indicating the repair was on hold as they wanted to offer me a "refund". The refund turned out to be only for $327.95, a prorated amount of the original purchase price. I called Samsung immediately. When I spoke to case management, they said that they did not have those parts in stock at this time and did not know how long it would be until they got them, which is why they wanted to offer this refund. I told them that did not even come close to what it would take to get a similar TV and said I wanted the TV repaired and that I would not be accepting that refund amount. The Samsung representative said he would put me back on the schedule repair on November 10, 2020. About a week later I received another call from Samsung indicating that they no long can do the repair as the parts were no longer available. After spending another several hours working my way up through the Case management team, they said they would need to put in a request to have my file reviewed and would get back to me within 3-5 days. On Nov 16 after not hearing back, I called and spoke with Case Management regarding the repair. The said there was nothing they could do other than offer me this $327.95 refund. I spent three hours on the phone with Case management getting all the way up to the "Sr Manager" named Nemesis (appropriately named). My request was simple and reasonable - refund me the amount that Samsung was originally willing to do as the out of warranty repair (roughly $1K) or send me a TV of like spec, which would have been the easiest route. She said it was their policy to only issue this low refund. When I asked to speak to her boss she refused and said she was the most senior person I could speak with and that her boss was merely held an administrative role. I asked to be transferred to someone else only to be circled back into the cue for case management. This time I spoke to Alejandro who indicated that the parts for the TV were delayed which was why he again went into the refund transcript. I then asked to speak to his supervisor, at which point he tried to say he was the most senior person as well. He finally put me in contact with Ariel, who also followed the same script as Nemesis. To make this long review conclude, If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. THEIR PRODUCT QUALITY IS EXCEPTIONALLY POOR AND THEIR WARRANTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE. WORST PRODUCT AND ZERO RELIABILITY.

A warning to all folks thinking about buying anything directly from Samsung.com. Don't do it. When you actually get a real person to help, the support was good but their online chat support was just horrible. Slow and no end result. Just a big waste of time. The worst though it their whole process especially if you ended up having to return something. I recently purchased a Galaxy S20+ and needed to return. First, one week after I received the device, the website still showed shipping only and not delivered so can't do any return online. Chatting with someone online, they tell me to wait till it showed delivered which never happened. Finally when I spoke to someone no phone, they were able to see on their side it was delivered and so they could help process the return label. Then I got email that returned unit had been received by Samsung and it would take up to 10 for refund. Guess what, 10 days passed and no refund or any other updates. When I finally called, support said reason for no refund was because there was no phone in the packaged. I told her if there was no phone when the packaged was received, someone should let me know asap and not wait until I called. Anyway, I got Citibank to dispute the charge and resolved it. Now another issue. The purchased priced included a trade in for my existing phone for $300. Even though return and refund had been done, they still want me to ship in my old phone which should be cancelled or they will charge me $300. I predicted the system will charge me so I put my credit card on locked. Samsung did exactly as I predicted but charge declined. Calling customer support to cancel this trade in, they told me they couldn't and I should let them charge me first and ask for refund later. What a crazy process to ask someone to pay for something not purchased and then ask for refund. No sane mind would approve this. So to prevent Samsung from charging, I had Citibank cancel the card and issue a new # card. First time and last time buying from Samsung.com. So everyone else, don't do it.

Samsung makes it too easy for their products to get hacked, every mobile device i have had has been hacked by my neighbor Jesse Moreno Garcia of Phoenix,AZ his accomplice's, Kim Ulaszek and Timeka or Tamiko Johnson. All cell phone providers that I have had service with have done nothing, its not like my problems are brand new, this is ongoing for years, and either nobody is trained for this or they just don't care about the consumer, that being said , there has got to be a law I will look into to seek legal action, against every cell phone maker, provider, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Centurylink , Cox, etc, for not protecting the consumer better, this man who resides at 1712 w Corona, is an below standards run in the mill wanna be drug pusher and user, lives off his momma , Jesse has one foot, its hard to believe that this person is smarter than the makers and all companies I mentioned above and is getting away with this 365 days a year. I recommend no one by your products that goes for your household appliances, anything with a software can get hacked and no one does nothing to protect the consumer.

Very disgusting and unprofessional customer service. I am never thinking that Samsung brand will put my life and my family on the risk. On 22 October I place the order, the supply me faulty washer dryer, its took few days to start complain, 1 day for collection, and collection service even don't call when they arrive. Was begin Samsung provide me washer dryer, because of Covid-19 I need wash my clothes more often. Samsung say we have process 7-10 days for replacement, and I beg for replacement quicker, call 100 times......nothing After 10 days I recieved replacement 😪 Was huge scratch on the front door, and again complain, my partner was literally crying. Samsung don't care, replacement will be 10 days. Every 2 days I spend 9 pound for public laundry. I send around 20 emails I made 100 calls ask for manager and waiting hours and nothing. Spend more then 800 pounds and nothing I wash my sock in the sink. That its properly Samsung face, leave customer without nothing and keep my money. 3 bloody years I am not smoking, but after hours calling and repeat order number name adrees. I was write them today asking for compensation, we will see what they reply and hopefully I will recieve my replacement after nearly month. P.S they disposal my old indesit washing machine Please avoid purchase directly from Samsung If someone know CEO Samsung email, can you please share with me.

I never leave reviews for anything so if your reading this pay attention. Recently I bought a Z flip from Samsung through at&t, phone was working great until one day the screen started tweaking out, the phone hadn’t been dropped, bumped or anything. I send phone in for warranty, they call back to tell me I have to pay $128 cause they claim they saw damage to the lens and LCD, I examined the phone before sending it and it was in new condition. The way I saw it from a customer standpoint is they were looking for any reason not to cover it under warranty, the phone was only a month old at this point. If you want to call Samsung expect to talk to at least 3 different people and wait at least 20 min each time, then expect to be unsatisfied. Samsung phones are garbage and their customer service is worse.

Samsung is not a company I would ever support again. I have always had a Samsung phone and loved them. However I purchased the S20 Ultra plus 5G unlocked from them and now I can't use the phone seamlessly with my carrier ATT and no one seems to be able to fix my problem. I would highly advise everyone to never buy an unlocked phone from Samsung!!! You are a consumer stuck with a phone that sucks and the S20 Ultra plus isn't anymore impressive than my S7. Dont waste your money!!! Horrible customer service from Samsung too!!!

Called in to ask for help with fridge - just wasn't sure lights only was broken or the entire thing. Asked me for a bunch of stuff like model number and then asked me if there was a control panel (shouldn't they know this from the model itself though). Just wouldn't direct me to a technician to ask about my problem and the last straw was asking me for my number so they could text the technician's info to me - not sure why they couldn't just give me a number. Ended up calling a third-party technician who told me a really easy simple trick of plugging in the hair dryer to the power outlet and now the fridge is working fine agian. What a waste of time to call Samsung first.

I was trying to use Samsung Cloud to sync data from my phone to my computer, but I kept running into bugs and issues with the Samsung Cloud which forced me to contact their support team multiple times. The support team was often hesitant to accept that their was a problem that they needed to fix, and it took a lot of effort for me convince them each time. The last straw was when they suggested I purchase a specific adapter cable to get into my phone instead, only for me to find out once I received it, that I couldn't actually use it with my phone. Unintentionally or not, they misled me into wasting time and money on a solution that was doomed to fail from the start. The last support person I spoke with just hung up on me, which was just unbelievable. They never resolved my issue.

I have a Samsung Electric Dryer with Steam, model DV45K6200EZ. Maybe had this Dryer for 4 years and I've already replaced 1 pulley, getting ready to replace another pulley if not all 3 of them. But also discovered my drum was cracked. A metal drum, cracked, maybe 2 or 3 inches from the back of the Dryer. This is the 7.5 cu ft dryer and even though it's that large, it's never filled to capacity. What is Samsung going to do about it? Nothing basically. They want to send a tech out to see if it's faulty. But that tech may not schedule with me for at least 48 hours and then who knows how long until they come out and look at it. So now I'm without a dryer for at least a week if not longer. Apparently Samsung doesn't stand behind their product for one and their appliances are junk. I've owned many Samsung gadgets, but now I'm thinking it's time to switch up.

I purchased the new Samsung 20 on preorder mainly because of the rebate and also the $100 credit I would get from Samsung.com. They sent me a code but when I try to use it the code will not work. I've spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service, and taking them almost 2 weeks later they finally send me an email saying they refuse to reactivate the code. They cannot provide me with any information other than telling me that my code has already been used! I never used the code, I never received any products! I am very disappointed with Samsung has they are the only mobile product I would buy. Not no more, this will be last purchase phone ever purchased from this horrible company. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction. I understand there are allot of people that try and scam free stuff but I am not one of them and would appreciate a little respect and proof before being accused of trying to steel from this company!!

absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Bought a dishwasher and a range. Dishwasher was broken. They replaced. It took forever and 3 phone calls to get it delivered. When they came to install it, they refused because they said I had to get a different garbage disposal to fit the dishwasher. After over AN HOUR on the phone with Samsung they REFUSED to give me my money back for install and haul away, because it was a 3rd party contractor. Ummmmm...... not my problem. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG.

Do not buy Samsung appliances. We updated our kitchen two years ago and decided to splurge on appliances so we bought black stainless steel. Dual oven...useful but top oven’s actual temperature is 50 degrees lower than what the oven says. Could only get fridge with ice maker...takes up so much space you need an extra fridge for taller items. Filters for the ice maker are very expensive and to clean bottom glass it a major pain as you have to detach ice maker to take glass out. The dishwasher is terrible. You have to make sure your dishes are thoroughly rinsed or they will not come clean. Had an upper rack that seemed like a good idea but you could not put in full size plates without moving the upper rack out. So took it out and the dishwasher no longer operates quietly
