Samsung Updates reviewed by SL Penfold SL Penfold 4 reviews Published 2 minutes ago Avoid Samsung at all costs - phenomal arrogance and lack of customer respect Shocking experience with expensive Samsung washer dryer which severely damaged clothing and that Samsung wasted days of my time over. This turned out to be a common set of technical faults on a brand new machine and I spent hours hanging on Samsung phone lines - the only resolution came from quoting the detail of uk consumer rights legislation to the retailer. Their arrogance resulted in very high level escalation from a major U.K. retailer. They still refused to compensate me for 4 items of damaged clothing - and said 'case closed, no further communication' following just one email from me and massive effort from the retailer. I will never buy anything Samsung branded again and will advise all of my friends and contacts also never to. If Samsung ever bother to read this, it applies to any Samsung branded product - and that will include the businesses I work with and for.

Ridiculously bad customer support at your Romford service centre, so bad i will never own another samsung product ever again!!!!!!

I bought samsung A5 2017 and it went dead just after 4 months, when reported to Milton Keynes shopping centre store they said it's Motherboard faulty without opening the phone. Also very bad customer dealing and insulting behaviour. Very Bad. Will switch to IPhone.

I have been trying to get my vacuum repaired for the second time. The process they have in place is so silly! you have to drop the vacuum to the nearest ups point and send it from there. This occasion I went to the shop and no ups point. I have been explaining this situation to them for two weeks now and no one understands English. There call centre is based in the Philippines. I'm exhausted with being on hold for so many hours. Very disappointed, my vacuum is still not repaired as they have not sorted a ups point to drop off. Samsung employees say they will call me back but never do. Instead I'm now creating such a high bill. I could have bought myself a Dyson by now.

So I had an issue with one of Samsung’s apps and had an online chat support session with them. They couldn’t fix it and I was promised a support phone call at an agreed time on the following - I didn't get it. Then I sent an email asking what had happened. I received an auto response promising a response within 48 hours. I didn't get it. I tried another online chat support session. They still couldn’t fix it and I was promised a support phone three days later at an agreed time. I didn't get it. (Turned out they phoned the wrong number) Again, I try an online chat support session. They still couldn’t fix it and, in addition, told me that what I was trying to do couldn’t be done, although that was almost the entire purpose of the app – they lied, in other words. I asked for it to be escalated to a complaint. I was promised a call from the escalation team the following day at an agree time slot. Guess what? I didn’t get it. And that is where I am now. All in all, including waiting for calls, I have wasted 16 hours on this. I will not buy Samsung again, even though the S7 Edge is a good phone. Once they have your money, Samsung throws its customers under a bus.

There needs to be minus stars for this review …Breach of Contract, botched repair, deceitful, rude, ignored complaints There needs to be minus stars available. I am reiterating the 1 star reviews of MANY reviewers here. Samsung are a REPUGNANT DISGRACEFUL BUNCH OF LIARS WHO LOVE TO CAUSE CUSTOMERS THE UTMOST DISTRESS. I LOATHE THEM. I have had 3 out 3 products fail in warranty. They just botched a warranty repair last week on my by Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition sending me back my android tablet MINUS its S Pen (!), damaged the plastic casing when prying off the screen and sent me a shoddy machine back which took 12 hours just to reach a 45% charge after being dead on arrival!!!!!. They don't check their repairs before returning and don't care that they lost my property. I made them PROMISE to send me a NEW SEALED RETAIL PACKAGED replacement for the part THEY lost ASAP but after a week long delay with NO communication to update me they insulted me with a refurbished spare part in an unmarked non retail cardboard box with computer made label and ignored all my other unresolved complaints aboit the service, the repair and what they have done to me while I am ill. They consider the case closed!! My consumer rights state that they had only just one opportunity to get a repair right first time and they failed so now they must provide a new replacement tablet and all accessories. They haven't even called me once as promised by customer relations EVER, the service centre hangs up on you EVERY time you call after they have already ignored answering at least 20 times before that and when you complain about their appalling service they slam the phone down again. Somebody should shut them down. They make me want to VOMIT. I am reporting them to Trading standards for deceit, lies and dreadful service and losing and damaging property and I will be seeking legal action to claim for breach of contract because they owe me new equipment having failed me under my warranty and I hope their shares drop so much from the crap they are causing people that they go out of business. I regret the day I bought 4 Samsung products and I will probably never will again purely because of how they treat people and property and because it all breaks down anyway. Seeing these other reviews they deserve NO customers and I would especially like to NAME and SHAME Nidhi, Wayne and Ewan at Reading service centre for their disgusting behaviour and putting down the phone and treating me like **** on the phone and in store and their incompetent engineers for botching up my repair in the first place. Nidhi takes full marks for her deceit. I would also like to name and shame Hollie in customer relations for refusing to answer my complaint and all the staff at Samsung for lying to me about contacting me prior to her. Never encountered such little integrity in my life. Awful stress for a week now & I'm too ill for this nonsense. They deserve whatever comes.

We have a fridge freezer which is 18 months old and it has now broken twice . Very slow response to emails and the web chat is just corporate speak which seems to come from an operative who I spoke told what to say . Would never buy anything Samsung again

this is regarding the new galaxy s 8 plus i bought from carphone warehouse within 30 days the screen had marks from inside ,, the carphone warehouse employee told me its the screen adaptor from inside touching the display,, now i had galaxy s6 edge which had black dots on the display, at that time carphone warehouse employee told me it was dead pixels. now i very upset with u samsung that i had to go all over this again,, every time i had to stay without a proper phone for 2 weeks ,, everytime they take the phone telling me Samsung will repair the phone which takes 2 weeks. with galaxy s 6 edge , they had repairs the phone twice ,since it was not repaired properly,,i didn't had my galaxy s6 edge for 3 weeks eventually carphone warehouse ending up giving me a box pack new galaxy s6 edge, And now this problem with galaxy s8plus, they took the phone for repairs asking me to wait for 2 weeks. i trusted samsung and bought. but i had to waste my time and money, with all this issues ,, i really use to like samsung products,, i had s2, than the first note, than s4, than s6edge preorder which gave me lots of problem,, but i thought its was just a my bad luck ,, but after having the bad experience with s8plus preorder,, I'm very upset with the service provided by Samsung. Carphone warehouse tells me they can't do anything about it .. since samsung usually takes 2 weeks to repair the phone. now as a end user i want an answer from Samsung why do i need to spend my hard earn money and time on a product which don't even work properly, and have to wait weeks and weeks to come from repairs. shame on u Samsung.

Took my phone in for repair in Samsung hanley support centre, told next day repair for them to say I'll receive a text when it's done so there was no text so I went into the store itself for them to tell me that the part hasent been ordered yet, and will be the next day, horrible service with no communication!!!

I purchased Galaxy Tab E last November began having problems turning it on then the screen went totally black, rang them and they suggested a few things that did not work so arranged fir UPS to collect last Friday however after taking day off work they did not turn up. Rang Samsung next day and was told UPS had a back log hence no collection rearranged for tomorrow Monday now I am told they don't know when collection will be so I'm expected to have more days off just waiting for courier terrible attitude to take. Very disappointed with Samsung they should take a leaf out of Apples book who truly care about their customers.

The worst company to deal with. I spent $3500 for fridge, two years later needs parts that company discontinued...... they said I can buy new one..... the absolute worst refrigerator on on market!!!!!!!! Spent hours on the phone talking " zombies"

Worse customer service EVER. I have purchased a S7 Edge with the Fitbit2 promotion and NEVER received my item. Your pro.otions team has shocking customer service and I have literally been lied many times now. About to take legal action. Thank you Samsung. A once loyal customer now isn't.

I bought my s7 edge a 7 months ago and in five months already has issue... bad service in romford Samsung center. They left the dust inside the canera. Now phone some issue . Some times battery defies quick. Getting very hit. And some time back camera getting hot. I sent complaint letter to Samsung in Sheffield.and there answer did not help and they do not want help. They ur phone under warranty as a crab. Do not buy Samsung phones. Do not buy new phones.. They need improve there service if they want sell expensive pho e. Do not buy Samsung. U will regrate in future.

Awful Customer service. I pre-reordered Galaxy s8+ directlu from Samsung n the 12th and they rejected my payment on the 19th not telling me anything. Handset was to be delivered 20-21st and I only found out they have done that on the day. They did not let me know and it took them 6 days to sort out. CS is almost non-existing never replied to email. Secondly my s5 burnt while charging it was all melted I mentioned that to them and they said to send the handset to them as they treat these kind of issues very serious. Few days later they sent me a message that the phone has been water damaged and it will be returned to me. REALLY?

Wembley service center said my Galaxy s-tab battery charging problem was a faulty motherboard just by pluging in a charger & without any examination whatsoever. I subsequently discovered the charger was faulty although it still charges any phone perfectly. These so called experts wanted over £150.

Dreadful company. Phone (Galaxy S7 Edge) developed a diagonal crack across screen after overheating and they wouldn't repair under Warranty. They want £202 to repair a phone that developed a fault. Guess they presume any cracked screens result from user dropping. Now selling my Gear S2 watch and Gear VR headset and will never purchase another Samsung product again. Have informed family,friends and colleagues and they too won't be purchasing from Samsung. Theyv'e lost some S8 purchasers here.

Samsung ecobubble washing machine caught fire and their customer care, which they say is very important to them, was awful! The machine was 3 years old and thankfully we were at home when the smoke first started. The machine had a 5 year warranty which Samsung denied because the machine wasn't registered with them, even though this was necessary to receive the cashback which was completed within a week of the machine being delivered with the serial number. Regardless, of the serious nature of the failure, they initially showed no interest whatsoever, "call an engineer at your expense" was the response! In shock at the total lack of support, I requested escalation and some time later the penny dropped that this was serious safety risk! To cut a long story short: - Without a washing machine for 3 weeks - after jumping through lots of hoops, they replaced the machine - Refused a different model even after expressing worries about the same fault occurring again - Take it or leave offer; £50 or like for like machine :( - Made to sign a disclaimer or wouldn't receive replacement Having being an advocate of Samsung for years with everything electrical bought in the last 5 years being Samsung when available, my experience has complete put me off! Great products, when they don't catch fire, but Customer Service diabolical. Does anyone want to buy a 3 week old washing machine?
